The above link will show you the lists of companies that do and do not engage in animal testing. From what I have seen, it would be a difficult choice to make -to boycott or not. My answer -not yet.

Crude And Worried 2006-10-18 18:27:32 I love you. You love me. We’re a happy family. With a great big fuck and a kiss from me to you. Won’t you say you love me too.
Don’t you just love that song? Yea, I love my wishful baby too.
Alright, fine, I’m feeling rather crude now. For the past hour, I have been photocopying nearly three-quaters of the notes (the thickness of 1/8 of the Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire novel) that Miss Tanny Koh has given me.
What great motivation to study! At least, I now know how it is to have a career as a photocopy shop operator…
Anyway, it is Sciences Practical tomorrow for the O’s. I am rather confident for Chemistry, so long as the theoretical question does not involve molecular calculations or rates of reactions. I studied those before but my memory failed me again. As for physics, I need to do a bit of reading up on the chapter of electricity.
All the best to me then. I don’t believe in luck.
When things seem bad, it’s time to say, ‘ Read more:Crude
I Am Losing Qi 2006-10-17 16:05:42 My energy is maxing out; I am unmotivated, though extremely inspired to do anything other than studying. Finally, I may be ready to come up with the storyline.
For those who do not know, I have a passion for writing. However, my capricious moods affects it most of the time.
Anyway, on studying for the O’ Levels, everytime I complete a particular topic for a certain subject and move on to another, my memory junks out the previous information. It just is very discouraging. I am bleeding tired of it happening…
Ahhh! Irritated beyond irritated. Let me revert to thinking about my special someone. I do think I am starting to get obsessed.
It is time to detach from the moods for now and remind myself of how delluded I am by those emotions. Urgh! Need to meditate again but I forgot how…
P.S. This is the most informal post I have written. Aside that, its time I shut the bloody ego up. It has been the cause of my moods. Then again, I haven’t had my dinner yet.
Graduation Of Thy Mind 2006-10-12 20:53:31
[Graduation Night]
Graduation Night is over; the hint that the end is near. As the new inevitably arrives, olden memories shall fade into the background. Slowly, contrary to thou will, perhaps only flashes of it will remain in thy conscious mind.
Be sentimental and grasp the reigns of time, with futile hope for it to halt. That, I shall and will not do. Hold dear to the people I love and care for? I would be a fool to do thus; my love and concern is deemed valueless.
Not sad, but perhaps feeling just a small vestige of hurt. It does not matter, for the feelings are but impermanent. So is all else within this world; limited by the eyes, nose, ears, tongue, skin and mind, with choices made from the input of all six. I choose to be detached and be happy…

O's And Ego 2006-10-06 17:55:57 There is nothing new to say, except for the fact that the O’ Levels are nearing each moment. I have no time to gain inspiration for blogging. Hence, lesser updates.
For now, just some random news… The PSI in Singapore is currently at 80, and driving me crazy; flu, coughs and reddened eyes. In addition, the dry season does not help with my sleep.
Nearly three-quarters of the POA Syllabus has been covered. As for math, I have covered some of the important aspects with my tutor. The problem lies with my memory, which I am rather confident, would improve sooner than later. The other subjects will be focused on, the following week.
Anyway, there is something weighing on my mind; a specific issue. This applies to myself sometimes, but I try not to do it. Does anyone notice how much they incriminate others, when they themselves have the same faults.
How do you justify incriminating someone about their temper, because of their age? Are you supposed to be less tempermental when you&
Walk Thy Path Of Impermanance 2006-10-01 21:20:37 Again, I am faced with the difficult choice; to change the blog or not. Typical of me, isn’t it.
On the same note, it is funny as to how quickly my mood changes. To be at peace for a second, masochistic in the other and depressed before long.
I have to build and walk my path, and not follow in the footsteps of others, not even the Buddha. He has his path, I have mine; he has his truth, and I have mine. To make myself believe whole-heartedly in another’s truth and forsake mine, out of fear, brings no peace.
Anyway, back to the topic of blog switching. Only time will tell what it foresees. Ironically, it is not time, for time to show what it forsees.
P.S. The Buddha continues to inspire me. Time however, remains elusive. The hope for my baby to be mine, seems as stubborn as ‘eternity’. All these together, fails not to confuse me… Let us not get started on the others.
Dumbledore Confirmed Dead 2006-09-30 21:42:32 Spoiler Warnings!
Quote from this link:
The latter bit, which had been a topic of much debate and speculation among Potter fans, was first voiced at the concert by author Salman Rushdie, who offered his theory that Snape and Dumbledore were in cahoots (over the latter's murder) and that Dumbledore's death was a hoax.
"In my opinion, Snape is good", he declared.
Rowling's answer: "And your opinion is right, but I feel I need to make one thing clear about Dumbledore: he is dead"
Sad, sad news. Contrary to the convincing DumbledoreIsNotDead.com theory, Dumbledore is really dead, as confirmed by J.K. Rowling herself. Ironically, my only means of denial of Dumbledore’s death, is gone.

Ironic Dream 2006-10-25 17:57:59 Is it not strange how we could readily believe what our mind perceives. The dreams we enter nightly, some we like and some we don’t. Yet, most of them, we have no control over. It is the reverse which is true -we allow it to control us, and we show our uninhibited character.
It was in this morning that I had slept, having a nightmare of myself discovering that I was a squib. For the benefit for those who do not know, a squib is a person who comes from a family lineage of wizards and witches but does not possess any magical powers.
Hence in discovery of the dreaded ‘fact’, I was crying in the dream, wondering why I was so different from the others. After I awoke, I was pondering, just pondering about that wretched dream, which I had thought to be real.
To wish it to be true would mean the entire Harry Potter Universe existed within our world. However, it would consequently mean that I would be a squib, rendering my knowledge of the magical world both to be useless and Read more:Ironic

O' Levels Is Very Near 2006-11-03 21:44:48 Literally the last lap before the O’s. I am currently having a fiasco of a marathon with time. I must not let it elude me once again. Otherwise, my fate shall be met; the first paper is on the 6th of November. YES! Two days…
I shall end this entry now. Around 5 chapters left, for physics chemistry, and nearly the whole syllabus for Social Studies. Breathe, Logen. Breathe…
Brief Sketch On Global Dimming 2006-11-13 15:50:38 Global Dimming, is the gradual decrease in sunlight and solar radiation. It can be generally considered to be the opposite of Global Warming.
Evidence have shown that the amount of sunlight reaching the Earth’s surface has decreased by 10 percent over the past decades and the trend is still in continuation. The decreased sunlight is due to Sulphur emissions and other particle that make clouds more reflective. Thus, reflecting solar radiation back into space. In fact, it could be the reason as to why the global temperature statistics are contradicting scientist’s prediction.
With so much pollution occurring, we would have expected a significant increase in global temperature. However, contrary to predictions, parts of the Northern Hemisphere, such as Britain, there has been a reduction in solar radiation.
This would then account for the low rising global temperature. In other words, Global Dimming has been masking the true effects of Global Warming; the computer models that Read more:Brief

Holiday List Of Want-To-Do's 2006-11-15 17:26:06 1. Repaint, refurnish and unclutter my room.
I intend to go to Ikea to be inspired. Although I have already formed plans in my head, I’ll have to judge if they are a little too far-fetched. How about an enchanted ceiling, like in Hogwarts?
2. Restudy the foundations of English grammar and work up to advanced. Upgrade my vocabulary.
3. Embark on studying physical/earth geography (namely the impact on climate) and chemistry.
For points 2 and 3, I’ll have to make a trip to some major bookstore to get some proper books from Cambridge or Oxford Press. It is unfortunate that most Popular Bookstore outlets have the specific books I want.
The study of these disciplines are in line with my future aspirations. More on my aspirations, on another day and on another entry.
4. Write a short story/novel.
I have been wanting to do this for quite some time. Finally, I am not too encumbered by my manic depressive moods, to write in a level-headed manner.
5. Get a hosting and domain account Read more:Holiday
My Funeral Rites Will 2006-11-21 20:42:31
I am finally going to complete this meme entry; I will give allowance for my creativity and imagination. The meme is as follows:
Firstly, let me just say, family and friends, these are just guidelines. Within the boundaries of those present at the funeral, do whatever that pleases you. After all, as at then, I am dead. Hence, argue not over my last rites; I get really cranky when disturbed in the middle of a deep sleep…
Burn my body
Let fire consume my body, and allow the wind to scatter the ashes into the ocean. As such, remember the analogy on fire not being able to extinguish fire when the flames consume me; when my ashes scatter, keep in mind the interconnectedness of our world: fire -pyre, earth -ashes, air -wind, water -ocean, and most importantly, whatever it is, the mind prevails them all.
Plant a tree
For the sake of grief, grow trees in my memory. They aid in the reduction of greenhouse gases and serve as wonderful shade from the sun. Trees reduce Read more:Funeral

It's Snowing! 2006-11-22 21:02:28 Look at the window on the right; the beautiful wintry scene and mountains. It’s finally snowing! Bliss beyond bliss.
Alright, yet another one of my delusions. Singapore, a country close to the equator, is never going to snow. Not unless there is a severe climate change due to global warming! I’ll spare you the details this while.
I was watching, awhile ago, an online promotion for a cable-TV channel on their programmes for the 25 days to Christmas Special; it has inspired me to have my own Undecided-Number-Of-Days to Christmas Special for this blog.
If I’m not particularly camera-shy, I might just let you have the DIY Sarong X’mas Sock Programme. Yea, I wear sarong socks occasionally. However, I am too lazy to unveil them at the moment.
In the mean time, watch this space. You would have noticed that the layout has been changed to bring in the Christmas cheers… So, Happy X’mas!

A Day Of Gardening 2006-11-23 22:09:16 This is in line with my list of want-to-do’s for the holidays. My want for inner-peace and a refurnished room, prodded me to turn to gardening; houseplants for my room.
[ Soaked Artificial Soil ]
Prior to the re-potting, I had to soak the artificial soil for 8 - 10 hours. Picture 1/16 of what you see in the bucket above, that was the size of it before soaking.
I woke up thoroughly shocked. Just a fun fact, the soil is actually poly-something-amide(organic macromolecule).
[ Messy & Overcrowded Plants ]
As can be seen above, I had brought in the potted plant from outside and, overcrowding is evident. 3 types of plants, namely: Aloe Vera, a type of air plant, and grass. The former two are there by invitation, whereas the last, has its seeds flown in from downstairs.
[ Baby Air Plants ]
One of the baby air plants is my sister’s. Well, she was excited about the re-potting. It was one of our little agreements about what we’d do together after my GCE’ O’s.
Hot Kinky Fuzzy Socks 2006-11-24 23:01:02 Kinky thoughts, anyone? Envisage a certain sexy someone of yours clad in nothing but warm fuzzy socks and Christmas cap this season. Alright, stop that naughty imagination of yours, and mine, of course.
It is amazing how the mind runs amok thereafter. Without even a visual stimulus, you would have formed a picture in your mind. Well, if you’re a prude, you would probably have still formed that picture, but rejected it with much more than a vestige of shock.
Then, when asked to stop those thoughts, you can’t help but think about them. This comes under the study of thought suppression.
I want you not to think about a naked guy or girl in fuzzy socks and Christmas cap. Your likely response would be, “Okay, I must forget the naked… in fuzzy…”. Then in response to your own response you’d think: “Shit, I just thought about the naked… in fuzzy…”
How pardoxical. We can go on about it forever but I’d rather not.

Fuzzy Socks Fetish 2006-11-25 21:09:48 Evidently, I have recently acquired a morbid fetish for fuzzy socks. Therefore, I decided to search for them online. Allow your imagination to run wild!
All three varieties of the fuzzy socks, yielded from the search, gets positive customer reviews from Amazon. Thus, I have added the blue fuzzy socks and Santa fuzzy socks to my wish list.
Those are what I want for Christmas. I don’t mind if my certain someone comes with it. *grins maniacally*
If you’re interested in getting your own fuzzy socks, follow the links in the above pictures. I wouldn’t mind if anyone out there wants to fulfill my wishes -the wish list.

Garden Plants Update 2006-11-26 09:44:34
The tiny plants in the motel. It actually is a reused biscuit tray. As they say: “reduce, reuse, recycle!”
Whereas, over here, the aloe vera is in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). I suspected that its roots were rotting from the yellowing leaves, due to the soggy soil subtitute. Thus, I dried the blue stuff, break them into managable bits and then replanted the aloe vera and air plant together.
Over the next few days, I anticipate grass-growing, literally. I have acquired the seeds of the uninvited grass whoose seed had landed in the pot.
P.S. I really need another pot/container…

Changes And More Changes 2006-11-26 09:09:24 In the days to come, I may put my blog on an extremely short hiatus. The reasons are as follows.
I intend to:
1. Plan the Countdown To Christmas Special
2. Begin studying Pure Chemistry, as I have gotten the book already
3. Brainstorm for the short story, or at least find the damn notebook where I kept all my ideas in.
4. Memorise some SAT words out of the 5000 words list
5. Plan the direction in which this blog will move towards –
I really love the current blog. However, I’m unsure as to whether I should separate my various categories into different blogs. If I do, I will be able to cater to various niche markets.
I would love some feedback from my reader as well. Please, please, don’t disappoint me.
I'm A Naughty Boy 2006-12-04 22:17:38 Bet the title caught your attention, didn’t it? Christmas Special, writing or studying Chemistry/English, I have been ’spring-cleaning’ my room. The clutter and strewn about papers had been driving me crazy.
Not forgetting, I have taken to organising the barbecue for my class of year 2004. Let us just say the barbecue planning has hit a snag. Amidst all, I do, however, promise to reveal the sarong socks…
Now, my Meez is so hot, like me. Well, it is me in one of my fantasies; I’m a hot vampire in Slytherin, looking for victims. ‘Yum yum…’, licks lips in anticipation.
Forgive my ‘horns’. I’m a naughty boy. Wahahaha! Cut to the chase, I want my meal to come in fuzzy socks!
P.S. Oh god, there’s my inspiration for the short story, and I don’t mean the kinky details…

Writing Is My Love 2006-12-08 11:22:32 At this stage of the holidays, I have seriously considered being a freelance writer and made my decision. The pull, of course, is the amount of free time. More importantly, however, I would be doing what I love.
Online freelance avenues concerned, I found none except Helium. Despite the prospect of being paid, I refuse to place my works among thorns. Having read negative feedback and tried Helium out, it can be said that their rating system and lack of editorial staff is their downfall.
As for the real world, in Singapore, Reader’s Diggest has been unearthed in my still-ongoing search. They offer US$100 for your funny story, and $500 for your personal experience, if published. I shall thing of something witty. Muahahaha!
Allow me to continue my search. Rest assured that I have not forgotten about the Christmas Special. 17 days to Christmas!
3 Weeks Into Spring Cleaning 2006-12-12 22:29:56 3 weeks has passed since the spring cleaning began and it has not ended. I am a splendid procrastinator but I’m rather proud; it is the first time I spring-cleaned myself.
I started out rather systematically sorted papers into ‘rubbish‘ and ‘want to keeps‘. As can be said, the ‘want to keeps’ were strewn all over the floor. The mess turned myself off to complete the goal of having an uncluttered room…
Don’t be like me. Here are some tips:
Right away, start organising the ‘want to keeps‘ into piles and store them into storage boxes/folders; mess will not motivate! Throw the rubbish away.
Recycle! Unimportant, unwanted documents can be recycled, while the ones containing sensitive info should be torn and trashed.
Reduce! Give away useful, unwanted goods to charities, sell them off to second-hand stores or hand them down.
Customise! Take stock of the amount of stuff you have and customise the space of the storage solution Read more:Weeks

Snow In Singapore? 2006-12-13 13:54:30 A radio station mentioned that it had snowed in Singapore
once before. Is the information verifiable?
I decided to investigate…
Using The Search Engine
My search on Google yielded annoying and irrelevant results pertaining mostly to ‘Snow City’. I gave up after several searches
Check on the National Environment Agency (NEA)
NEA’s website showed no info/records on snow or weather anomalies in Singapore. The lowest temperature, though, is 19.4 degrees Celsius.
Emailed Query To NEA
Sending a query to NEA on the above question, I was told that there was no official record of snow in Singapore. And the lowest temperature recorded would not have sustained falling snow.
However, there were unofficial reports from members of public made, claiming that snow had been seen from their high-rise apartments. Albeit so, NEA explains the ’snow’ to be an optical effect due to tiny floating raindrops under the influence of turbulent air.

Favour For Logish 2006-12-17 19:42:06 This is one of the many times I get deluded by my emotions. Many have said that ennui spurs negativity; I agree.
Anyway, to my friends, I need a favour. For the purpose of customising this blog, I need US$15 to be paid with a Paypal account or a credit/debit card; I have no cards and I can’t fund my account.
Would one of you with the means, get a Wordpress account, buy US$15 worth of credits and then transfer it to my account. I’ll pay you for it. If you are willing, inform me first. Thank you in advance.
So, tis’ the season to be jolly, isn’t it? Get into the spirit of Christmas and have fun! Funnily enough, I’ve alleviated my unexplainable negative emotions. Merry Christmas! Read more:Favour
Bloody Lustful Hormones 2006-12-18 19:38:54 The cool weather possesses one to desire cuddles; taste silky sweet lips; and breathe in the warm sensuous bodily scent.
Thus far, however, someone has yet to make claims on that certain someone; this I dare not do. Had my desires been proclaimed, harsh judgement would have besieged me and no longer would we be friends.
Despite the signs seen and sensed, I distrust myself. When one is controlled by poisonous lust, reason and logic is lost.
Pathetic I am, to dwell in fantasies of my mind but this, I cannot help; my hormones rage like charging bulls. Although, there be a day when all kinship I renounce (for that is the price), that day is still distant.
Sighs, the irony… I want to hold you but my senses tell me to stop…
P.S. Do not ask who, as only my death will reveal it… Don’t worry I’m not depressed again.

Mini Random Updates 2006-12-19 20:45:07 On the following day, I plan to do the following:
Get hair straightening cream
Get Gatsby Hair Bleach
Get Christmas Presents
Start studying English (if time is available)
Hopefully, it doesn’t rain too heavily like it has for the past one day. Having checked the wall thermometer constantly, the lowest temperature in my room was 24.7Â degrees Celsius. Whereas, now it is 27.5 degree Celsius. And I’m not running the weather channel…
Just a last word here. I went a bit bonkers with the entry yesterday. Call that a momentary relapse to the horrid past emotionally which consequently influenced some ‘conditions’. I’m over it now; the mood, not the lust. Read more:Random
Makeover 2006 Preplans 2006-12-20 23:24:27
Awhile ago, I have mentioned my intention to straighten and bleach my hair. Albeit so, I needed a vague idea of how I’d look as a blond and without zits. straighten your hair yourself, get ‘Wella Hair Straightener -strong’. It is one of the better chemical hair-straightener. It is also the thing if you don’t really want curtain hair.
Beaute Spring sells it at $8.90 at usual price. Don’t get them at departmental stores, it is much more expensive.
Watch this space for updates on the makeover.
P.S. I might be bleaching my eyebrows with lemon…
