I love snow. Sorry, guys and gals, but I do! Falling snow is so peaceful (unless you happen to be out in it!) and when the ground is covered in white, it just seems as if the world has been washed clean or something.
I love to hear the crunch of snow under my feet. I love it when you can stand outside (usually waiting for Tucker!) and hear the snow falling. I was able to do that one year, at night. During a full moon, no less. The sight and feel of it was just wonderous. It really was! I’m not being dramatic here. It was just such a surreal experience. It was just silence except for the sound of falling snow, and then the effect a full moon has on the landscape.
*shivery inhalation* It was just… just… well, just WONDEROUS!

I called to get a refill for the Daypro I was prescribed sometime last year to replace the Celebrex the insurance had to have pre-authorization for… which meant the doc had to show that I’d tried something else first.
Which was totally stupid since before finding that Celebrex worked well many years ago, well, I’d already taken it for MANY YEARS! Good grief! What stupid crap these insurance companies can come up with sometimes. And of course you realize that the whole thing came up when there was so much hubbub about Celebrex and rumors it was going to be taken off the market, yadda, yadda, bleh!
So… now here we are and again with the pre-auth stuff. *sigh* It probably wouldn’t be so bad if not for the fact that I seem to forget how awful it is to put off getting certain meds til whatever holiday is upon me and I see that I may not make it without that med.

Sinus is the start of it. My sinuses have been just pounding for the last 3 or 4 days. I wake up feeling like my eyeballs might explode out my face. If I’m very fortunate, it doesn’t end up in a migraine during the day. So far, only one really bad day of that.
Then there’s the stomach upset. Just a nasty queasy feeling that won’t quite go completely away. And when you’re really in for a killer day, you have the just-shoot-me kinda diarrhea that leaves your insides feeling as if they wish they’d got in the chute with the rest of the, well, CRAP!!
*moan pitifully*
I am just SO SICK!!! And of course, I have tons of stuff that needs to be done.

Yep. I lost my mind and agreed to bring home this little puddy tat from the in-laws Saturday. I mean, really. What do I need with a little kitty cat?!?
*sigh* Actually, this was a mission of mercy since neither FIL or MIL like cats and FIL was getting pretty hot under the collar since getting not just Moonpie, but two other cats dropped off on him. The other two were pretty wild and quite large, so we weren’t able to examine them very well.
But Moonpie? Well, she just mosied on over to me and Mel, I scooped her up and she almost immediately started purring. And nuzzling me for pat-pats.
Awww! That done it. I just wanted that little kitty cat and that was that.

It’s crazy here. I mean CUH-RAAAZZZY!! I feel bad. Hurt. Pain. Agony. Depression. That’s the usual course that chronic pain takes.
Hopefully, when I get on the new med, I’ll start to feel better. As of now, it hurts to stand more than a few minutes (like 30 or so), but with all this stuff to do, I try to keep going so then my feet start to swell, then I get tired. And frustrated. And depressed. Then I get a migraine. If I don’t already have one from mega-super-hyperated sinus trouble.
Gah.
BUT, now is not the time to complain. Contemplating what Jesus came here to do… As a small, defenseless little baby… Knowing full well His sole purpose… Knowing what He would be facing before His plan was completed.
