Mubarak says a lot of things
2007-07-02 13:51:00
Mubarak says a lot of things ,most of them I am afraid can not be considered true , just like There is democracy in Egypt We are fighting corruption Elections in Egypt are democratic Hezbollah is adventurous There will be no inheritance in Egypt So when he says to his beloved blessed ,really blessed journalists who were lucky enough to accompany him to Ghana in the presidential airplane in their way home that Ashraf Marwan is patriot to his country and is not a traitor then I will think twice  , this is what he said to the journalists "Marwan was a devoted patriot to his country and did great patriotic things not to be revealed now but he was indeed an" Egyptian Patriot" and he was not a spy for any side what so ever " Already this is not conclusive ,I am sorry with my all respect , yes this is highest Egyptian official comment on the affair ,still it is not powerful , it is still doubtful and as I said Mubarak says lots of thing that are not true according to the fa

Are they traitors or something ??
2007-07-02 08:14:00
What is this crap??  حوادث وقضايا - جريدة الأخبار this is crap ,real crap , for those who don't know Arabic , this piece of news was published in the front page of the daily "Akhabr" newspaper today saying that "The Bedouins of North Sinai who were protesting against the regime Expelled the "Kafya" and "Ibn Khalidon" members who came encouraging them to protest on the international borders , the Bedouins insisted on their patriotism and nationalism  and they said that the government was so nice ,so great .... bla bla bla to the rest of the pravada crap!!" I am sorry but what the "Akhabr" is hinting to exactly ?? That "Kafya" and "Ibn Khalidon" members are traitors ?? The Bedouins are patriots while the civil organization members are not !!?? because this is what I got from reading the news, they are trying to make the two civil organization members as traitors who are encouraging people to rebel and protest forgetting that the Bedouins in

Is there a balcony in his cell ??
2007-07-02 07:12:00
Ok this comes in a strange timing especially if you know that the convicted with Espionage Sherif El-Falali who died in his cell late yesterday was working as an arms dealer too Sherif El-Falali case as I remember was so controversial as he had a Spanish passport, working in arms dealing not to mention what the general attorney presented from what the E.I provided from files and facts that showed him as a traitorThe biggest controversy in his case back in 2001 was when the high state security court found him inguilty but President Mubarak used his powers and refused to sign the court order and thus his trial was repeated again but this time he was found guilty and he had to serve 15 years in Jail in year 2002El-Falali was in his early 40saccording to the news today the guards opened the cell to wake him up but they found him neither responding nor moving and so they called a doctor who announced that he had died in his cell Sunday night ,they called his family to receive his body and t

Just to put things straight
2007-07-01 16:16:00
I will have some break from Mr. sorry Dr. Ashraf Marwan's sudden strange death , you and I need some fresh air , well not so fresh because the topic I intend to speak today is not less dangerous ,in fact more dangerous about the confessions of a dead dangerous mind in LondonAs you know there was a lot of talk regarding the administrative high court in Egypt order to refuse the request of Some Egyptians who converted from Christianity to Islam to revert again to Christianity ,the main problem that when you change your religion you must go and change your ID details in the civil registry that follows the interior ministry , in Egypt there is a religion column in the id that must be full ,I won't speak today whether it should be canceled or not Anyhow the problem of those Egyptians was that they converted to Islam and went to the Civil registry to change their religious id column to a Muslim in order to be officially recognized as a Muslim by the State after beginning recognized by Al-A

Nawal El-Sadawy annual Show
2007-06-30 17:45:00
I don't know but I feel this woman will die if she doesn't find herself in the news under the spot light in a way or another ,seriously I mean it turned out that there was a solidarity protest with Nawal El-Sadawy last week in Paris , ok I can't say anything , they are free to do what they believe in but to say that she is banned from coming home , well I am sorry but this is what I call nonsense , I remember that I discuss this rumor before that the rumor about her being sent to exile and to the end of this crap , sorry to call it that but I got sick and I am already actually sick right now with a feverLook people outside in the west don't believe this woman when she tells you that the regime fights her to the rest of this crap , the regime uses this kind of so-called intellectuals to make the majority of the people hate them sorry hate the real intellectuals, I am sorry despite what you think about her in the west this woman is not popular ,she is just an old lady with white hai

Egyptian X-files :The fall of Babel
2007-06-30 03:22:00
Really I don’t know how to start this chapter because this is a mine area and the part that causes all the controversy that may turn him to a hero and in the same time it may turn him to a traitor and this is the simplest way to describe it. Seriously I don’t know how to start writing in this area of that man’s life as it seems to me to be more complicated than any other cold war literature novel I read “I love so much this literature, the serious realistic one” To understand the story well I will start from the end London, 45 Carlton house trace 1:40 PM London local time on the 27th of June 2007 Suddenly the fancy high class street silence was broken by the fall of man from the 5th floor to the ground causing his death, a man in his sixties, for sure the people in the street didn’t recognized that man at the first instance Surely the police identified later when it came the identity of the dead man and surely they knew they were dealing with another special Egy

Old poll new poll
2007-07-06 03:05:00
Ok today I will change the blogger poll to a new oneThe old question was about Ashraf Mawan death and whether you thought it was a normal death or a MurderI admit that i made a mistake when I forgot to include suicide in the options , but to tell you the truth I don't think he committed suicide as he is a Muslim second he was not that kind of a man , anyhow I should have included but the new poll feature in blog is still lacking more optionsNow to the results91 visitors were voted73% of them that is 67 visitors believed it was a murder1% of them that is 1 visitors believed it was from natural causes "the Egyptian witness version"25% of them that is 23 visitors don't care about the cause of his death I can not comment fairly because I can be considered from 73% who believe it was a murderNow we got a new poll thanks to my anonymous visitor researcherIt is a strange question for some , and it is not related to politics but to historyAre you with historical excavation in general ?? wit

Shunned from society, widows flock to city to die - CNN.com
2007-07-05 11:04:00
I can't believe that this happens some where ,already it doesn't make sense , may be those Hindu widows are from a radical sect in India ,because we must not forget that Indira Gandhi was a widow , also we should not forget all those loving mother widow heart breaking films in the Indian Cinema like "For my sons" Ironically I didn't believe Jules Verne when I read his masterpiece "Around the world in 80 days" , the part concerning India where he saved the widow Aouda and I thought it was the imagination of the western mind and that it was a Thugee custom but it turned out that it has some roots in other religions in India , the disrespect of the widows Already this is not only in the Hindu or the in the Indian culture , in fact unfortunately I don't know why there are several communities who are disrespect the widows For example in Nigeria ,in some states the widows suffer till death after their husbands death the Egyptian Proverb The Shadow of a man is bett

Jesus Camp
2007-07-05 10:13:00
This is very important documentary that alerts the world to what is going in the United States as a result of Bush's co-called  crusade and the rise of the conservative Christian Zionists not to mention making of the Islam as the enemy of the States This documentary deserved to be in the Oscar and I think it deserved to take the Oscar this year instead of Gore's Global warming documentary simply because this documentary actually made a difference , there is nothing happening in the Global Warming , in fact we are heading to the worst , while on the other because of this documentary people began to talk in America about these camps that they were closed now after many criticism . It is very disturbing , it is like the racist militias in America but this time it is for children , it is not about teaching them the bible or the love of Jesus or begin good Christians ,it is more than that I mean watching those kids reactions crying and how they look to the

Sherif El-Falali's obituary
2007-07-04 22:39:00
This is for sure the first time of its kind that we find an obituary in a newspaper for someone who was convicted for espionage , Sherif El-Falali's family had decided to publish an obituary for him in the newspaper to announce his death and the date of the memorial service. The strange thing is the newspaper they chose at first as far as I know refused the rich family request ,it was Al-Ahram which despite its greed and hunger for money "few lines in a column equal to thousands in their obituary service" could n't publish the obituary of a spy Anyhow because of that refusal they decided to go to another newspaper , the controversial best selling independent newspaper "El-Dostor" in its weekly issue which this week is covering the El-Falali's case again revealing interesting  facts about his death concerning the forensic report I will not talk about the forensic report now but instead I will share with you the obituary because this is a rare thing ,

Freed BBC reporter: 'It felt like I was buried alive' - CNN.com
2007-07-04 02:17:00
I am so so happy that the reporter Alan Johnston is free at last , this is good cheerful news , I am so happy for him and for his family Of course the man looks terrible , I mean it has been more than 100 day. Bravo Hamas , Hamas again is trying to prove that it is not terrorist barbaric group as some want to make appear like , really it is enough to see the reception of Johnston with Ismail Hania or even to read how he was set free Bravo to both Johnston and Hamas and Shame on this group that claims to be Islamic , this is not from the manners of Islam to kidnap a civilian unarmed man who came to our countries to cover the truth and terrify him like that For God Sake what were they thinking ?? did they think that Blair would leave Iraq or even apologize for the Balfour's promise when they kidnap Johnston ??  Freed BBC reporter: 'It felt like I was buried alive' - CNN .com Technorati tags: Alan Johnston, BB

And now it is the C.I.A ??
2007-07-04 02:07:00
I don't know when and how the circus of Ashraf Marwan will end , already the man is in his tomb and Scotland Yard is busy with what they are facing from terror alerts and it seems the case will face the same destiny of Soad Honsi's In Egypt of course it is a big media circus ,especially for the official and friendly independent Media" well they are not really independent after all they are so friendly to the regime" I didn't watch the TV in the last couple of days , I was really sick that I decided to sleep yet my mom saw strange stuff especially on El-Mahawar where they were hosting some men to speak about late Marwan after the Mubarak Statement and guess what ?? those men in Egypt who were sitting on their assess in Cairo accused not only the Mossad of Killing the man but also accused the C.I.A of helping the Mossad to kill the man in London !!?? Now it is  the C.I.A . ok we understand the Mossad thing , already they are suspect but I don't understand why the C.I.

Was it the funeral of Marwan or the show of Gamal??
2007-07-03 13:23:00
Gamal Mubarak had attended the funeral of Ashraf Marwan so what , the man is a Muslim and the Muslim must attend his Muslim brother funeral , not to mention that this Muslim brother had attended his wedding in Sharm from two months ago so why there is a huge spot light on GM in the funeral in the official and non official media !! Do not tell me that GM attendance to the funeral means the innocence of Marwan from the spying and treason charges ,seriously the official newspapers didn't care about this point as they cared that GM had attended the funeral personally and hugged Marwan's widow . Strangely they didn't care to mention if Alaa, the brother of Gamal had attended the funeral and sure he did because 75% he got business with the late business man or his sons The star yesterday was Gamal with all the headlines in bold fonts in the official newspapers and with those photos hugging the widow as if she were his mother despite Khalid Abd El-Nasser ,the brother of Mona seemed not to

Back to the old times
2007-07-09 04:18:00
With my all respect to the Catholic people in the world ,I have to say that more and more I believe that since Benedict XVI became the Pope of the Vatican and the Catholic church is becoming more and more like in the old times ,the times of the crusades and inquisition courts I am sorry but I read today that the Pope is going to release a document , this document says that the only Jesus church on this earth is the Catholic Church in brief  why do I publish this ?? well because there are some optimistic people in the Muslim World who believe we should beg the Vatican to have a dialogue with us in order to spread Peace in this world People the current leadership in the Vatican is not like Jean Paul II , the current Pope doesn't recognized other Christian sects. Of course the Egyptian Orthodox Church is so angry ,well it is so so angry with a capital A,you can see them in TV Not only them but also the Anglican Church Well surely the Vatican now is ruled

The Spy rush reached Algeria
2007-07-08 06:19:00
The first espionage case in Algeria Please forgive if I misspelled lots of words here ,the Algerian Arabic words are hard to be translated correctly First of all this is the first time I hear about an espionage case for a foreign country against a country in the west Arab world "Algeria,Morocco, Tunisia,Mauritania" ,already I always believed  that secret services there are made only to suppress the enemies of the regime not the country ,I am sorry I don't mean to offend to anyone but this is a reality no one can deny , a historical fact Anyhow it seems that I was wrong because in Algeria there is a big espionage case ,already I have just knew from my favorite tabloid Arabic news website El-Arabiya that made me dig more and more abut the news According to the official news the published in daily Algerian El-Sharouk this is what happened : On the 6/7/2007 the Crimes court following the Tizi Ouzou  judicial Council began the first espionage trial the

A SOS Message Ok the El-Falali's sudden death and also the attack of the journalists on the Nuke engineer Mohamed Saber made his father sent an open letter to President Mubarak through El-Dostor newspaper defending his son and asking for mercy , also attacking the journalists and media that attacked his son badly and made fun of him in his point of view "I guess this includes me" The man I believe wrote this message after Balal Fadl huge sarcastic attack on his son , strangely Fadl saw the resemblance between Saber and legendary Egypt ian Comedian Fouad El-MohandesSeriously he should not attack the journalists , I am sorry his son's merry attitude in the trial , I don't know why his son was insisting on laughing and smiling as he was in some party not in a trial for the charge of espionage ,the charge whose penalty in the time of war is death The father's justification for his son's smiley face in the court that his very kind son was sure from his innocence !!! I do not but his son

The Father of Egyptian Cinema Mohamed Bayoumi
2007-07-08 00:39:00
First of all I must thank dear Arabawy for posting these great group of short films  This is the man we should celebrate in the centennial of Egyptian Cinema ,Mr. Mohamed Bayoumi When I read his biography in the link below I felt so sad that he left in silence with no recognition from the country at all ,seriously this man is not less than Mohamed Karim ,after all look to the number of short films he made  Mohamed Bayoumi (1894-1963) Here is one of his rare films ,in fact it was a newsreel and so it can be considered as a documentary , it was about the return of the Egyptian leader Saad Pasha Zaghlul from the exile in 1923 , the first ever newsreel made in Egypt by an Egyptian It was called Amon Newsreel It is so special to me because My great grand Mother in Alexandria "the mother of my grand mother" had attended the huge public reception in the harbor for the Pasha , she was in the fifth grade in "Nabaweyya Moussa" school for girls in Alexandria, the first sch

In Another police station
2007-07-06 22:16:00
I swear if anyone tells that it happens in Egypt ,I will burst in laugh with no respect to anyone what so ever I read in daily Dostor yesterday Friday that the American authorities are deporting  some Egyptian Christian Citizen back home to Egypt , this man claims to be tortured in Egypt and thus he fears to be killed when he returns back again ,of course the Human right organization are making a campaign and attacking the Egyptian regime ,the same old talk of religious oppression .. bla bla bla Of course I forgot to tell you that the man will be deported as he is wanted in a murder case I am sorry but if you read what the man had claimed you will laugh too The man had claimed that he had been tortured in the police station in order to force him to convert to Islam !! Now is not this a joke or what ?? Look people I know some Egyptians will do more strange stuff to get a green card in America but this is really ... I don't know how to describe , some may claim to

Iran's Jews reject cash offer to move to Israel | Iran | Guardian Unlimited Bravo for the Iranian Jews , I wish that the same thing happed in the case of the Egyptian Jews but of course it would be unfair to compare between the situation of Jews in Iran and in Egypt after all Iran for decades had a good relations with Israel on the contrary to Egypt  The Egyptian Jews despite the common belief were not harmed at first in the 1940s or 1950s because of the Egyptian-Israeli wars more it was because of series of unfortunate events When I speak about the Egyptian Jews and their second exodus from Egypt in the 20th century the first thing pumps in my mind is the nationalization policies , of course some like to make as policies hunting down the Jews and let me tell you the nationalization policies did not leave a Muslim or a Christian or a Jew alone ,the impact on the Jews was more obvious because they were controlling a percentage of the economy not to be des

Updates About the youngest mother in Egypt
2007-07-13 23:15:00
I am really surprised how the media is handling this terrible accident in Egypt , I mean  the Newspapers are treating it as something exclusive only for "El-Wafad" daily that they should not even hint to it in their pages, I think this is more than a scoop , it is a human tragedy . On the other hand the fancy ladies of the Woman and child council are concerned with the incident , Ambassador Moshuira Khatab decided to send psychological specialists to the young poor mother in Nile Delta to make her understand her new role as a mother !! I am sorry but I don't think she needs specialists to make her understand the new role more I believe she needs justice Already the good news is that the General attorney after watching Hend on TV ordered the next day to escalate her case from the primary criminal court to be directly under the supervision of the District attorney there , this is great but I wonder why only this considers as exceptional case , why not all the rape accidents w

It happens in the country of the Nile : The thirst revolution
2007-07-13 02:37:00
When you hear the name of Egypt , the picture of the Nile and the Pyramids is the first thing that may pump in to your head , anyone who is familiar with the geography of North Africa will know that Egypt is blessed with the Nile In fact for centuries we were taught and learnt by heart that Egypt is the gift of the Nile as famous Greek Herodotus the historian described Egypt in his famous trip to the valley of the Nile In fact the bless somehow increased despite the other consequence when the Aswan high Dam was built to protect Egypt from floods and from droughts that killed thousands of African people in the countries of the River Nile .According to our successive governments the dam provided and is providing water and electricity to all Egypt , each president from the three "not counting Mohamed Naguib" said that water and electricity had reached to every place in Egypt ,from biggest city to the smallest village and we believe them at least the water part Already

The youngest mother in Egypt
2007-07-12 04:26:00
Well I could not stop myself from commenting on this  , I made a promise that I will not write or comment on anything till Friday , yet it seems I will break my promise only 24 hours earlier I won't speak in politics or conspiracy theories or anything but I will speak about the Social disaster that appeared on "El-Mahawar" Channel , the Youngest Mother in Egypt Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you Hend , the youngest mother in Egypt , she is 11 years old only from the Qalyubia Governate , the beginning of the country side north Cairo Hend became a mother after being raped by a "Tuk-tuk" driver who threatened her to kill her in front of her school if she opened her mouth and thus she didn't opened her mouth except when she began to feel pain in her stomach after 5 months and thus she turned to be going to have a baby . She recognized the criminal who did that to her from the police records in the police station, he turned to 21 years old with a police record , he wa
