The site alone is not that great, but the program that you can download is pretty amazing.
How do you keep an eye on when your installed software is outdated? Some software have a build-in update checker. But sometimes you just don’t want to see that “updates available” notification, and may have disabled it. Some software don’t even want to bother you and just don’t notify you.
So, how would you know if there is a new version of your installed software?
Doing a search on google, or frequently checking the the software-homepage for available updates?
Let me explain about Filehippo. Basically, its a program that you download and install on your computer. When you run the program, it will collect the data in your windows registry, and comparing it with the versions on their homepage.

When the Trojan gets installed, it will try to delete everything from the victims harddrive, while at the same time endlessly repeating a voice message saying; “You have been infected I repeat you have been infected and your system files have been deleted. Sorry. Have a nice day and bye bye.”
This Trojan does not jump from computer to computer, but spreads via p2p networks and storage devices.
So if you do not want to have this bad boy on your computer, remember to update your virus definition files.
