novels and Manga. Plus, a Warcraft movie would get more people into playing it or be more aware of it ("Make Love, Not Warcraft" anyone?). The episode of South Park helped a bit and I have seen players running around with references from the episode.Well, what are your opinions?

New Ways of Getting Gold Around? 2007-06-11 22:06:00 It seems gold sellers are finding a way around the new patch feature preventing mass whispering to advertise players of their gold and power leveling service. Sometime ago, I spotted a level 1 player in Orgrimmar advertising their services in /say mode. I decided to test out the new "Report Spam" option, logged off and back on. 45 seconds later, the player disappeared. Maybe it's because his/her work was done, or other players also reported the ad bot.Last night, I got an invitation for a party out of nowhere. Without a tell. Maybe it was for a party somewhere in Outland or just a noob playing around with the GUI. I found something wrong with this. The player who invited me had a really odd name. It seemed that the name was made up as if someone was fed up with finding a good name for his/her character and just hit random keys on the keyboard. Almost Perfect 2007-05-25 20:20:00 My Warlock build is nearly perfected! At level 61, I can get the skill I have been waiting for: Unstable Affliction. I found the build from this page on WoWWiki when I started playing Warlock. It is my favorite build so far. The build, 43/7/11: 43 Points in Affliction, 7 in Demonology, 11 in Destruction. It took me a while to get UA, since I used 11 points in earlier levels to get Shadowburn (in Destruction).I love Shadowburn, especially in PvP situations when the enemy is near death. At level 60, My Shadowburn deals up to 600 points in damage. I have even seen it crit for 1030+ points. Awesome! Once I get UA, I will own in PvP. Death Coil + Fear + Curse of Agony + Siphon Life + Corruption + Unstable Affliction + Shadowburn = Death. Read more:Almost

Outland, Here I Come! 2007-05-20 18:28:00 I have finally made it to level 58. It is time for me to go to Outland! :DI have no idea what to do though...I guess I'll just go through the portal and do quests to get to 59. There's two things I'm looking forward for the next couple of days; getting new gear to update my level 39-50 gear, and getting a Dreadsteed. The quest for that is going to be a bit of a task...Back to getting from 57 to 58...I started out with 120k remaining. I didn't start playing until 2 AM and I usually stop at 5 or 6, depending on the conditions. I decided to play until 8:00 AM or until I got level 58. I did a few quests at the Eastern Plaguelands but the EXP was bad (since the mobs were level 53-55) now since I finished the major quests, excluding the elite ones...I went to Silithus. I spent the last two hours getting 58. I completed two quests that left me with 3 bars until ding. I ended up grinding on other monsters rather than searching around for giant snakes for a quest to fill the 20/20 quota for
It's just as bad... 2007-05-18 22:09:00 This has been floating around the Internet for sometime now...I found this video the other day of a funereal that was disrupted on Illidan. A virtual memorial service was held for a Horde player who died in real life. Friends of the player invited everyone to pay their respects--Horde and Alliance.But the unthinkable happens...A group of Allies gang up on a player and attacks him...and a few dozen others. Why? Several reasons: 1) The guild thought it was stupid to hold a memorial service on a MMO, 2) They are the Alliance, 3) The Alliance are just a bunch of kids, 4) They didn't have time to wait for a BG queue, and 5) They got free honor points. Not all of these reasons are true, but I stand by them. It is geeky to hold a memorial service in a online game, but not everyone can leave town and travel hundreds of miles to pay their respects to a dear friend. Also, crashing a funeral is just as worse as having one, in-game.

The Long Awaited Update (?) 2007-05-18 20:28:00 Hello, everyone! It's me again, Nakashima...A.K.A. Nakaichi on Stormreaver. Finally, there is something worth posting after 3-4 months after starting this blog! I am 120k away from setting foot into Outland for the first time. I hope to get there tonight, provided there is some quests that rewards uber amounts of EXP. Right now I'm leveling in Western Plaguelands. I'm starting to love this place. It's an Eastern Kingdoms' Feralas--just with alot of Zombies. I will stop loving it if an ally ganks me and camps me--when I didn't do anything to him.Last night I entered Arathi Basin. The Horde hung in there, but we lost to the allies. Next BG for me was Warsong Gulch. In the first round both factions held the flag for 20 minutes before a score was made. The second round the Alliance grabbed our flag and went on the defensive for 15 minutes. With our flag carrier awaiting the return of our flag, we went on the offensive and rushed in to return our flag (after a couple of deaths). The l Read more:Update

It may get me into trouble..Back to the post!I am level 38 going on 39. I was hoping to make it to 39 last night before logging, but it didn't happen. I got online around 3 AM. Pretty late, with the way things have been for me lately.For those who are around level 36-39, you should check out Stranglethon Vale (STV). From Orgrimmar, go to the zeppelin tower and head there to Grom'gol Base Camp. However, a visit should be paid to go to Booty Bay. There's a chain quest for the Bloodscalp trolls to get there.One more thing: When you pick up the pages of "Green Hills of Stranglethorn", don't drop them. I greeted him with a hello--but I did not get a response back. Did I say something wrong?Fast-forward--I went to slay some birds to get a bone chip for a quest I wanted to finish. I noticed something odd...He did not help me out in defeating the fiend. Why? I went back to Hellfire Peninsula and finished a couple of quests that I've had since level 60. I will go back to Zangarmarsh and Terokkar later to finish a few more quests, especially this one that I'm having problems with.
[Guide] Journey to Outland (Horde Version) 2007-06-22 04:31:00 This little guide is for those who do not know how to get to Outland after hitting level 58 (or 60). This guide is designed for Horde
players, but you should be able to find a work-around for Alliance.The Dark PortalThe Dark Portal is located in Blasted Lands, south of Swamp of Sorrows.To get to Blasted Lands, if you have previously quested there, you can fly to Stonard. If you have not been there before, road trip! You should bring a buddy to help you through (especially on a PvP server). After getting to Stonard (and getting the flight path for later, if you didn't come here earlier), go south into Blasted Lands.The Dark Portal is the Big Crater on the middle of the map, as shown above. Once you get to the Dark Portal, grab the quest to get started on the other side of the portal. Once you go through, you will be in Hellfire Peninsula. Congratulations! You're in Outland! Top 3 Battleground Minions 2007-06-20 22:26:00 Yes, there are 5 minions in all; Imp, Voidwalker, Succubus, Felhunter and Felguard. However, there are only three of them I always use in Battlegrounds. Here are the minions and the reasons why I use them:Felhunter - There's the theory that Felhunters are good on PvP realms, and are sort of useless on PvE realms. This is somewhat true... Felhunters have the Tainted Blood skill, which reduces the targets' attack power. It is also stackable up to five times. Curse of Recklessness is a good add-on with TB.Imp - Fire Bolt. That is all there is to it. When I use Imp in PvP situations, it helps. Using your Imp's Fire Bolt and your Shadowbolt or Soul Fire, will turn you into a mage: Two Shot Goodness. Of course, DPS skills helps.Succubus - My least favorite minion for PvP. She is good for Seduction, but for everything else...you might as well just use fear. Most of the time Seduction will fail and the Succubus will eventually run out of mana, but a chance of Seduction being cast is better

Just One More Week 2007-07-04 01:25:00 Level 69. This is the first time I've been so close to being "complete" on an online game. Ragnarok Online: Level Cap - 99. Highest level I have gotten was Level 63 on Priest Final Fantasy XI: Level Cap - 75. Highest level achieved: Level 46 Red Mage. Now...I'm just 660,000 xp away from level 70 on World of Warcraft.I'm going to jump on some Sethekk Hall runs tomorrow night. Since today is a holiday, maybe I'll log on early and search for some groups.Wish me luck! /charge
