Dreaming of Techie Toys 2007-11-03 15:23:52 I love technical toys. I have a lot. I have so many that when I stay in a hotel, I have to bring a power strip to power them all. My laptop, my cell phone, my camcorder and my digital camera… and I’m always looking for more. And when I look to buy computers, I definitely want to find good quality discount computers that will last me for many years.. until they become outdated, which really isn’t long at all.
I’m thinking about getting a new digital camera and Tech Bargains would be a good place to look. They have coupons and rebates, product reviews and comparisons so you can find what fits you best, mobile RSS feeds so you can find things when you are on the go, and deal alerts customized to fit our interests.
Cool stuff! I need more techie toys… what should I buy? I’m going to go and browse their site and see what fun things, maybe a PDA or something, that I can use next.

Big Crabs 2007-11-03 11:19:45 Some interesting dreams last night. I think one of my Hermit Crabs
has gone under the sand to molt. Haven’t seen him in days. So last night I dreamed that he came back out and he was huge! He was about the size of a baseball. Right now he’s small, about the size of a golf ball or even smaller.
It wasn’t a bad dream. I also dreamed something else and now I don’t remember… something about my husband I’m sure.
Good night, though, not a bad night at all.
Recurring Dreams 2007-10-31 10:59:07 I think I have a lot of recurring dreams. So from now on I’m going to add a new category, or check an existing category, for dreams that I have if I think they fall into a category.
I dream about our house a lot, and selling the house and moving. So there is a house category now. And the road dream I just posted about, there is a road category.
This way I can track my recurring dreams and see what the deal is.

Old Road Dream 2007-10-31 09:47:54 I was just replying to a comment on Luna Tail and this dream memory came to me. I have had it more than once, I’m sure.
It’s about a road, a freeway, leading out of Utah and, I think, to Nevada. West, anyway. It’s a high speed freeway like a spaghetti bowl, and yet there is a twist. One of the roads has a loop like a roller coaster that takes you, and your car, completely upside down. What are those called? A 360 degree loop? I went on it once, in my dream, and made it around without falling off the road, but it scared the crap out of me. And in subsequent dreams I remember going a different route so as to avoid that stretch of freeway.

Dreamy Dreams 2007-11-09 09:01:58 I remember a dream from a couple of nights ago… another dog camp dream. I remember looking for my place in the barracks to sleep, but there wasn’t any room left. So I had to get a cot that was kinda set up in the hallway. It was odd.
Ooo and now a dream from last night is trying to come back to me, but I don’t quite remember it. If I do, I will post!

Agility 2007-11-04 22:08:28 Okay another recurring dream I have is about doing agility with my dog. Usually, I think, it’s Levi. This dream is from a couple of nights ago. We were at a dog event, they had more than just agility, maybe flyball too… but I was doing something else with training some dogs or something and then I remembered I had to run the next course and I was late!
Then it seemed like no, Levi wasn’t entered in that run so I was okay. Hrmph. Then we all took a break from dog things and went swimming, there were two round swimming pools but they were naturally made. I remember looking into one because I was going to dive in, but the rocks were too shallow and I had to move around a little. Then I jumped in and swam and it was nice and cool. I swam to the other pool and it was a hot tub so I didn’t want to go into it, was too hot.
Hrm weird. I’ve had swimming pool dreams before too, now that I write this down.
I wonder where I will go tonight.
Underwear 2007-11-13 17:21:05 Not remembering too much lately… but I do remember a couple of nights ago I dreamed that I kept putting my underwear on backwards. And going out like that and the butt part was poofy in the front.
Of course I was not at all embarrassed about being out in my underwear.

Box Jumps 2007-11-10 11:22:33 Well, another agility dream. Similar to others I think. I dreamed that the agility trial was in a huge barn and to the other end there were booths set up and people were selling things for fund raisers. I was late for agility again, Open, running Chase. And when I finally managed to walk the course the jumps were boxes all pressed up against the walls. And I kept thinking that will be awful hard to jump.
And I couldn’t see the numbers on the course, and I couldn’t find a map, either. When the judge gave me the papers that were supposed to have the map, I looked but I couldn’t read any of it and my mind was really getting unfocused. (I can never read in my dreams.) But the map wasn’t there even though others were telling me it was.
My mind got really wonky and I couldn’t focus or concentrate on anything. I kept wandering around, couldn’t hold a conversation, and couldn’t focus. I lost the dogs at one point, didn’t remember where I l
Shopping for a good cause 2007-11-09 11:54:50 It’s that time of year. I’m thinking of giving blankets and pillows for Christmas, but I may change my mind. We’ll have to see. And always I am looking for places to shop where a portion of my money will go to helping a good cause. One of those places offers good holiday gift ideas. Christmas Lights 2007-11-15 08:57:01 It is just the time for Christmas
isn’t it? Hrmph… well, yes it is. We need new Christmas lights. I think ours from last year have been up most of the summer, and they are falling apart. I need to string them all out and see if any of them work anymore. If they don’t, I seriously want to get some LED Xmas lights instead of the old regular incandescent kind.
They create very little heat and they also save a lot of energy. If everyone went to these over Christmas, our energy consumption would be greatly decreased. And I’m always looking for ways to help the environment!

Earth and Space 2007-11-15 08:52:27 Another long dream I woke up to this morning to Tatum being growly and grouchy toward Tony. She was put in the crate for the rest of the morning.
Anyway the beginning that I remember was in some sort of meeting hall where we were having a meeting, I didn’t know most of the people. And it slowly tended toward being religious and then they were all Mormons and they were standing around a table praying and standing with their hands behind their backs. I caught the eye of someone across the room who smiled and nodded at me for us to get out of there because, it seemed, that person wasn’t a Mormon either (and no I’m not Mormon in real life but I do live in Utah).
So I managed to get out but couldn’t find that person and then had to go to the bathroom. Before I got to the bathroom I found my ex and his father blocking the way. Time for Christmas Cards 2007-11-15 08:48:19 In this day and age school is so very expensive. College, mainly, but sometimes High School as well. And whenever there is an opportunity to win a scholarship, I advise kids and their parents to take it! There is a greeting cards scholarship contest going on right now for the holidays that you really might want to check into. Every dime can help and college is so very important. Believe me, I went when I was in my 30s, and it would have been easier to finish in my 20s.

Crabs in Water 2007-11-22 20:09:17 Just a quick post, and happy Thanksgiving.
Last night I had a dream before I woke up to go to the bathroom, I think it was around 3am, but I don’t remember it now.
When I woke up the second time I was dreaming that my hermit crabs were in a big tank of water, and there were fish swimming around, and there was a hang on back filter. And they were huge again, and shed their shells. But they still looked like crabs. Was odd.
I was in a big pet store at one point, too… hrm.

Carrot Snake 2007-11-21 08:38:16 Well last night i didn’t dream of my ex… I dreamed of my ex boyfriend from back in the mid 1990s. Wow. I still talk to him once in a while, which is really nice. He’s a good person.
It was really odd… I was at this sort of conference meeting type thing, not for work, personal. And there were a bunch of people and we were all hooking up for maybe a relationship or maybe sex. There was a thing where a group of people would stand up and then find someone they wanted to get to know better. I kinda knew one woman there, blond, cute, and we decided to pair up. We didn’t end up having sex though, I think she was straight, though I told the people I was Bi (which I am).
Anyway moving away from that there was a water scene too. There were tubs of water and my ex boyfriend was in one of them, and he kept turning into a carrot snake. Candles for Peaceful Sleep 2007-11-20 16:25:40 Okay, these are like the coolest things ever. Check out the Flameless Window Candles
on this site. See, we need some of these because the cats can get just about anywhere, and I really am worried they will catch fire or, even worse, catch the whole house on fire.
They even have wall sconce candles, which I love and they really stay out of the way. I’m going to ask my relatives and friends for some of these for Christmas. I love the soft flicker of candle light, safe candle light, in the winter when it is dark most of the time. I love the dark. Love candles. Love firelight. The Mattress 2007-11-20 16:20:24 Well, my mattress is fluffing up, and my husband ordered me a cover for it! Water proof, so if Lucy leaks it’s okay we can throw cover into the wash! I’m excited.
I still can’t use it yet. I stand in the spare bedroom, where it’s expanding to it’s normal shape, and stare at it. The dogs come in with me and lie on it… not fair. Not fair at all. Last night Levi walked right in and on it and laid down like it was just for him. We have such spoiled pups.
So hopefully only a few more days. The Husband even got the 3 day shipping… so the cover would come soon!

Personally I am not a fan of the war, and I don’t like Bush… but that is neither here nor there. I support our troops, because our troops are human beings and American citizens putting their lives on the line for us.

Dream of Work 2007-11-20 15:45:22 You know those nights when you just reflect what you have done all day long, especially when it’s repetitive? That was last night for me.
So this report I’ve been working on at work for a while, involving building an populating tables, looking at MS Access and Excel, running SQL queries… I swear I did that all freakin’ night long last night and woke up to it, too.
I don’t really like nights like that! And it was the only dream I remembered from last night.

Bed for the Dogs? 2007-11-19 09:42:11 Okay I got myself a new mattress and frame, but I haven’t gotten one for the dogs. I am really looking for a nice dog bed. Something that can be thrown in the washing machine, and is not too big for our washing machine.
Angel, our sweet rescue collie girl who is probably at least 11 years old now, she loves to fix up our beds. She is excellent at it… well, ask her and she will tell you she is. She goes to town fixing up our beds, pushing with her nose at pillows and sheets, and she grabs those darn sheets and pulls them down until they are almost completely off the bed. LOL. We have to fix up our beds every night because she does such a good job.
The bedroom is her safe, and favorite, place. She chews her pig ears in there, sleeps in there, and goes in there when there is thunder or lightening or fireworks and she is nervous. We keep some dog beds in there as well, but she prefers the mattress. We’d love to find a nice squishy comfy dog bed for her that she woul
New Bed! 2007-11-19 09:37:26 Well, in order to encourage better dreams and better sleep, I bought a new mattress on Sunday. That was.. yesterday. No no I bought it on Saturday, then, not yesterday. I went to Ikea. The mattress was fairly inexpensive, foam, so it is now getting back it’s regular shape. It came in a roll, which was odd, but fit in my Outback which was very nice.
I also bought a frame for it. I’m going to have to look to see if the frame has a weight limit, so as to make sure that me and all the dogs will fit on it. It’s a Queen size. King is just too darn big for the bedroom. And my Husband has his own single bed anyway.
But I’m also going to get a water proof cover for it before I can use it. Darnit I don’t want to wait! I am much too much an instant gratification type person! So next week, probably, I get to use it and see if my dreams improve.
Going Hiking? 2007-11-19 09:30:50 I love to hike. I haven’t hiked in my dreams lately, though. Would be a fun way to spend a dream. I love the mountains, I love the rocks beneath my feet, and I love the sun on my face and the cool wind in my hair.
I also like having good solid hiking boots on my feet. They are so important. I don’t really need hiking boots for Christmas, but they would be a great gift. Maybe my sister needs some… and we don’t hunt, but sometimes Hunting Boots can be used as hiking boots, as hiking boots and are just as good and solid.
So maybe they would be a good Christmas gift you can give!

Boats and Looting 2007-11-19 09:15:54 Well, unfortunately, the ex didn’t go away in that dream from before. I hope he sure does soon. This time I was in a hotel room and I was with my current husband, and we were showering together and we were having a great time and madly in love. Then he had to go because I was going to meet with my ex and I didn’t want my ex to see my husband.
Then I decided that I didn’t want to see my ex either, so I left out the back door and took a walk. Well, the ex was very mad, like he used to get, that horrible angry hatred feeling I’d pick up. But fortunately he left, but before I got back I decided that I should stand up to him and say my new guy is my Husband for goodness sake and he is priority! LOL too weird.

Going to Boise 2007-11-28 22:39:22 Sometimes I remember my prior night’s dream best when I am going to bed for this night. As I laid down tonight this happened to me again. Just bits and pieces really… I remember going up north for something, it didn’t seem dog related though but that is the only reason I really go up there. And I was with a couple of friends, a man and a woman.. and we piled in the back of a car… or wait was that another dream? I am getting them mixed up tonight.
Anyway once we were up north we decided that we wanted to make a bigger trip out of it and while most of our party was going to go south to get home, we were going to go to Boise
Idaho. And I saw it on a map and it was mountainous and looked like fun, and near the ocean kinda like Seattle.

Pieces of Dreams 2007-11-27 17:09:06 Last night my dreams were odd.. but of course they always are. The good part was Duncan and Leo and Me… Duncan and Leo were a couple of gay men, but I kinda think Duncan was bi.. anyway Duncan was very good looking and Leo was pretty fem. Water, Men, and Movies Dream 2007-11-24 09:44:58 Well… not all at the same time. I had another long and winding dream last night. Woke up toward the end of it this morning. Let’s see if I can bring it all back to memory.
It started where I was in my parents house. My Dad, unfortunately, was going through phases where he would forget where he was, who he was, and act silly. He could walk out into traffic and almost did so in front of their house. My sister was worried that this would happen to my Dad when he was watching her son, my nephew. My nephew was only about 3 years old in my dream. He’s actually 12 in real life. My sister had to go catch my Dad and nephew once when they were walking down the sidewalk and my Dad didn’t want to go back, he was acting like a stubborn child. It was kinda creepy and I hope that never happens in real life.

Dried Up Dreams 2007-12-05 18:42:41 Well I haven’t been dreaming much at all the last few nights. At least I haven’t been remembering my dreams… and now, as I type this, I thought I had one from last night but I think it’s gone again… i remember a man, blondish, curly, a meeting room maybe… I think there may have been water in it too, but I’m not sure.
I will probably remember when I lay down to go to bed tonight. I haven’t been feeling too well, either, and I think I either don’t dream much when I don’t feel well, or I have weird bad dreams. Well, I’d rather have some weird dreams than no dreams. Hrmph.

Camping in a Trailer 2007-12-13 11:44:53 This morning when I was driving in to work there was a big truck tailgating me for a while. Naturally, I slowed down, and fortunately he passed me.
It brought my dream from last night back into my memory. Strange how that happens.
I was going camping with my flyball club, the Thunder Paws. I was in the truck my captain and her husband own, and he was driving and pulling their big trailer behind them. We drove up some curvy canyons and to a place I swear I have been to before in my dreams. I think I was water skiing at a lake up there in my high school dreams, and I think I was going to star parties up there when I did astronomy.. in my dreams.
We drove around the camp ground and tried to find a camp spot, but they weren’t letting anyone on the grass like they used to because of all the rain. It was very wet and they were afraid the trailers would ruin the grass.
