No Alarm System Please 2007-08-25 21:24:55 I dreamed last night that I woke up and there were big vans and trucks in our driveway, and that people were drilling and putting up signs… and they were installing a security system in our house. But I didn’t want a security system… they had gotten the address wrong! But they were like a quarter of the way through.
It was a weird dream, it was like I really had woken up, but then I woke up again. Odd.

Staying Over 2007-08-31 11:06:45 Just had to post my dream from last night. I dreamed that a guy from work (not EVEN saying who lol) was staying over at our house on a blow up mattress. We have a blow up mattress for friends that are staying tonight before we go to dog camp tomorrow. But instead of staying in the basement, he put the mattress in our bedroom, katty corner, so it fit. Was odd.
And then he got really ill. I tried to take care of him. He was sweaty and miserable. We tried to get help for him, too. The place kinda morphed into one of my old trial dreams. A barn? An outside twisty agility course? It was strange.
Going on Vacation 2007-08-30 21:05:06 This is no dream! Though I’ve been dreaming about it for a year. My and my two boy dogs are going to dog camp, leaving on September 1, Saturday. We’ll be there for a week relaxing and having a good time. We will be doing a lot of fun dog things, and splashing around Lake Tahoe.
So I won’t be posting while I’m gone. I might on Tip Tail, my dog blog, but probably not here. I won’t have time.

Sleepin’ Last Night 2007-09-22 11:33:51 I went to bed around 10pm last night, and slept pretty well until about 4am. My stomach got upset then and I couldn’t get back to sleep. I had Hudson (smooth collie boy) on one side of me, and Levi (my own collie) on my other side.
I don’t remember dreaming last night. I do wonder if when I don’t feel well, I don’t dream well, either. Seems to be a pattern.
This dream diary is fun. I can really keep track of and look at commonalities in my dreams. I even want to blog every day, whether I dream or not, and see what influences my dreaming.

Rookie Challenge 2007-09-20 21:47:24 Ever dream about trading stocks? I actually haven’t, at least not in my sleeping dreams… that I can remember, anyway. But I have toyed with the idea in daydreams. But I’m too nervous that I would lose a lot of money, and I don’t even know where to start.
Well maybe I should take the rookie challenge. This is a great site where you can sign up and you can actually trade stock from real companies, with fake money, online. It would give me a great idea about how to do it. And there is interaction so you can rate other traders, and they can rate you, too. And if you sign up you get a free hat!

Smart Conference 2007-09-20 09:44:57 I remembered another dream! Maybe it’s just starting to come back.
This was kinda like last nights dream, it started out the same like I was in a hotel, and even at a conference. But it resembled the TV show Eureka and my ex was not there. It was a conference of very highly intelligent people.
When we were leaving, there was a man who was mostly bald, who I just took too immediately. He didn’t want to go out with me, but I persisted and got him on a date, and finally he went and had a good time. He didn’t think he had the time for a date. He thought he was too far. His work was too busy…
Actually, that is really like Episode 23 of Eureka I just watched last night.

Traveling with the Ex 2007-09-19 07:38:57 Had an odd dream last night. Again I think it was somewhat from dog camp. I dreamed that I was on a really fun trip, but it was sorta a hotel, and I was with my ex. He was fun to be with and we had a great time. Met some other people who wanted to fool around (yeah sexually) and it sounded like fun. The dream didn’t really go there, though.
I swear it lasted all night. The part I remember most is the end and packing. We had four dogs with us (go figure) and three of them got onto the plane with the rest of the relatives. Kinda seemed similar to the last dream I blogged about.
Anyway, my ex wanted to talk to one of the big wigs. At one point he wanted a new outfit, rap type, with baggy pants, but he came back without the outfit. I was packing in a frenzy because we were going to miss our plane, and remembered to put my knitting in my carry on so I could knit on the plane. But we missed the flight. Finally Had a Dream 2007-09-18 15:13:32 I think I haven’t been remembering my dreams lately because I’m not feeling too well. This dream is from the night before last, I told it to my husband to help me remember.
I dreamed that I was in Idaho for a dog trial on a weekend, Saturday and Sunday. I was staying with some of my Mom’s friends who were German, and they were very close to Germany and so we would go on day trips to Germany… LOL I didn’t know Idaho was close to Germany.
At the end of the weekend I found out that the seminar I was planning on going to the following weekend was actually Tuesday and Wednesday during the week. I had to call my boss to tell her I wasn’t coming back like I’d been originally planning.
So I stayed for the Seminar and then my girlfriend and I, after it was over, got on the train with our dogs to come home. The train station was weird and kinda dirty, and I seem to remember something about water slides… maybe that was another dream. So we get ba Read more:Finally

Dreaming of Sales 2007-09-18 14:57:34 Do you shop on black friday? Last year I actually did, first time ever. Bought myself a nice 42″ HDTV and I am watching it still, and plan on doing so for many years to come. I love it.. flat panel and all. The High Definition is amazing and I don’t like to watch the little TVs anymore. Sometimes I do fall asleep in front of it, and dream. Most times I just am amazed at the picture.
There’s a website where you can find blackfriday deals. And you can even buy there, so you don’t have to stand in line like I did for my HDTV last year. They even offer bestbuy deals. I am a member of the Bestbuy points and so I buy there when I can, to get more points toward more purchases.
Black Friday is the name for the day after Christmas. There are a lot of deals that day, it’s the busiest shopping day of the year. I do not like the crowds. I’d rather do it online. Saves time, and money, and you can get good stuff for Christmas too. I am mostly done with my C Read more:Dreaming

Sleeping at Home 2007-09-10 19:44:51 I am home from dog camp! And sleeping in my own bed is very nice, indeed. I did sleep well at camp, too, though. Last night was a bit tough with 4 new foster dogs. I’m not sure who whined, but a couple of them did. Hopefully tonight will be better.
Last night I had a couple dreams, but the memory already fades.
So let’s see… what did I dream about… ugh… crap, now I don’t remember, and I’ve had this thing up all day to see if it would come back to me!

Spreadsheets 2007-09-30 19:50:03 I spent all night last night, that I remember anyway, staring at a spreadsheet. Well, really the layout of an Access Database. That is what I’m working on at work, and I change code to reload the database, and then I look at the Access display to see what my work produced.
It was not good, not bad, it just was. But I really didn’t like staring at a spreadsheet all night. I do that during the day!

Hard Dreams mean Aches 2007-09-28 21:33:25 When I have bad dreams, I don’t usually sleep very good. And when I don’t sleep very good I swear it kinks my neck and makes me ache. And when I’m stressed I pop my knuckles more, which causes my hands to hurt. And I find I could really use some topical pain relief.
I found Freeze It, which is great stuff and really helps the pain in my hands and feet and even neck. I made this little video to show you FreezeIt. It’s a gell, and it absorbs so nicely and it is not greasy, and it has a great smell, too. Not overpowering.

A House and an Empress 2007-09-28 11:32:39 Another odd dream again last night. Not sure what the deal is.
I dreamed that my Husband and I had to move. I have had moving dreams like this before. We moved into this house way out on the west side, it was huge and had a long and narrow yard. Too may hills for agility, I remember thinking. My Dad visited and he wanted to secure the fence because the bottom seemed like the dogs could dig under, especially Tatum (funny she is in a dream already).
So we were looking through the house that we had bought and the south side was a normal house, but large. Big rooms, nice kitchen. As we were moving through the house we found that the north end was nicer. It had 4 kitchens and the bathroom was all granite. The TV rooms were also amazing. And it was on a circle. Like the house I lived in out in West Jordan years ago.

Dreaming of Fall Vacations 2007-09-28 10:25:02 I love going on vacations in the fall. My husband and I went to Maine for our honeymoon in October about 4 years ago, it was wonderful. We stayed in a B&B but I would love to check out vacation rentals instead next time. To have a little place all of our own like a home away from home. I wonder if any of them take dogs.
I know I just got back from dog camp, but the cooler weather makes me day dream of going again on a vacation and relaxing. There’s something about the fall that causes me to slow down and relax. The cooler weather gives me more patience. And I love going for slow walks in the evenings.

Dreams Not So Good 2007-09-27 08:12:28 My dreams the last couple of nights have not been very good. Last night was about dog camp. I went, but my friend didn’t go with that year, and so I felt lost and I didn’t know what to do (which is silly, because I can do stuff on my own, too).
So there were lots of people and there were cabins with bunks. And I had too many dogs with me. About 5 collies or so and it was hard for me to arrange them all (ugh).
Then we went on one of the outings and it was on a boat that went on the lake. I camp at Lake Tahoe but this lake was different. It had sharks in it, and they had you watch videos of the sharks so that you knew how they behaved and to avoid them. They said a shark can eat you in three gulps, whole, and you sit in their stomach and it takes you 12 minutes to be digested and die. That was unpleasant.
So this boat trip was scary. There was lots of wind and rain, and I wanted to go home early but I was afraid of driving in the weather. So I took this boat trip instea Read more:Dreams
Brains 2007-09-24 10:24:18 This was not a good dream, either, though I don’t remember much of it anymore.
There was a guy who was experimenting on people and he would cut their heads open, in half, and examine their brains. There was no pain involved but it was creepy. Then he would do some more stuff and turn them into walking dead people. Not really zombies, and he wouldn’t really kill them, he would just transform them.
And then I remember being in an open top Jeep with Tom and Diane from the 4400. We had a baby with us (not sure whose it was, Diane’s maybe) and there was another baby that we stole because it held clues to the cure for this thing that the evil experimenter guy was doing.
It was not a good dream. I dislike bad dreams. It left me with a bad feeling in the morning.

New Pillow 2007-10-12 10:44:43 When I went shopping earlier this week I bought myself a new pillow. It’s an ergonomic pillow. It’s interesting, because it doesn’t seem like it would be comfortable at all. But actually it is very comfortable. It has a ridge where my neck is, a dip for my head, and another ridge at the top of my head.
I was hoping maybe it would help my neck problems. I still have a crackling neck and it pops regularly. This only got regular about four months ago. I thought maybe it was because my neck was out and I went to the chiropractor, but that didn’t really seem to help.
Maybe it’s stress, and instead of doctors I need an adventure vacation. I would love to go to belize. It’s one of the places I have dreamed of for a long time. One reason because it’s English speaking (or so I’ve heard), and another reason is because it’s south, and on the ocean, and I would love to do some scuba there.
Anyway, vacation or work… either way, I hope
I Don’t Remember! 2007-10-12 10:40:26 Strangely enough, I don’t remember my dreams from last night! When I woke up once I thought I did remember, but it didn’t stick in the morning.
I’ve been remembering my dreams a lot more lately since I’ve been writing most of them down. I swear I didn’t use to remember this many. Maybe I did though. I have a rotten memory.

Last Couple of Nights 2007-10-11 17:22:59 I don’t know why I don’t like to post about my dreams until the afternoon… but it just seems to be that way.
The night before last I remember a short bit of my dream. My Husband and I went to visit an old friend of his who ended up in Prison. I haven’t seen the guy in years and I’d only met him once or twice when he wasn’t in prison. Stealing a police car, though, is a pretty bad thing. Anyway, my whole family went as well as my husband (my family has never met him). And to get to the visiting area we had to slide down this big wide concrete slide. It’s hard to describe… it was like a whirligig thing, but horizontal. And the bottom of the slide was so narrow I barely fit, and kept thinking anyone heavier would have a really hard time! Then we met up with my Husband’s friend in a big outdoor area with grass and trees, it was very nice.

Clocks on the Mantel 2007-10-10 16:31:46 I love clocks. I don’t know why, but there is something very appealing about them. I love old clocks, clocks that were made years ago. Clocks
fascinate me, especially how they were made and put together back in the old days when people were just starting to make them.
I have never had Howard Miller clocks but I’ve been looking at their website, and I’ve been dreaming of getting one. I would love a mantel clock, an antique like this Brass Bell Clock for the mantel above the fireplace. I love sitting in front of the fire in the winter, watching TV or knitting, and I do love having a fancy front room. And this clock would really finish off the room nicely.
I would love to find a interior designer around me here in Utah. I would like to know if they have Howard Miller Clocks. I hope I don’t have to design the house around a new clock, though! But you know how it goes. Update one thing… and the rest has to be changed as well. I’m going to check ou
Four Heroes 2007-10-09 08:33:05 I was so dead tired lats night. My Mom and I spent 5 hours at Ikea shopping. So when I hit the sack, I was out right away.
This morning I did have a dream. It was a good one too… now that I’m in the better part of my cycle, my dreams should start getting better.
I dreamed about four men who were kinda bums, but they were the most powerful.. in magic or strength or something, but it wasn’t really a dream about magic. Anyway they were scruffy, and of course I found them all attractive. Well, except the 12 year old.
There were three women too, for the older guys. I was one of them but I think I kept switching between being one of these three women.
Of the men, there was a large man, and a blond guy with darker roots and curly-ish hair. I liked the blond guy. In my dream I was looking through some sort of book and they all had names, but of course I don’t remember their names now.

Dogs Attacked 2007-10-07 10:12:23 Another not so good dream last night. I only remember a little now… I was at a house, kinda like that house I had in my prior dream. And I had all our dogs there. Levi, Lucy, Angel, Chase, Tatum, Bianca and Tony. I had to leave for a bit and the dogs ended up getting attacked by something like a Crumple Horned Snorkak or something. It was dangerous.
It killed Tony and someone moved his body, wrapped up, to under my bed. The rest of the dogs were okay. Some injured but not badly. And they ended up crated, by some lady, in a truck. But they were safe.
It was not a good dream.

Dreaming After a Drink 2007-10-06 17:11:44 I live in Utah but I’m one of the liberals that live in Salt Lake City, instead of the conservatives that live in the more rural areas. And my parents are European, so I was raised on wine, beer, and alcohol.
Do you dream after you drink? For me it depends on how many drinks I’ve had. The more I drink, the less I dream. And the worse my sleep is, in fact. And the close to bedtime I drink, too. I do enjoy a good drink, though, even though I don’t drink much. So I try not to drink before I sleep. At least not too close, unless it’s a holiday. And then on holidays I like to drink the good stuff. Like tequila from The Tequila Guy. I’m going to go read around, as he has good advice and information on good tequila, not just the run of the mill junky stuff you buy to get drunk. I do NOT like being drunk. Just tipsy. So I’m going to see what is going on about the tequila renaissance, want to join me?

Water 2007-10-06 16:13:14 Had two dreams last night that I remember. The first one was before 4am.. because that’s when Tatum woke me up growling at Tony. I had to break them up and put Tatum in the crate. That girl has a head on her and wants to be boss. That’s okay, though, we work with it. Second dream was after that time, and was longer, and I remember more.
First dream, the only thing I really remember about it is a statue. It reminded me of the Doctor Who episode with the Crying Angels, where they only moved when someone was not looking at them. The statue was frozen, but still alive in a creepy way. It was not a good dream.
Second dream was longer. I don’t remember as much now. There was a party and it was by some sort of houseboat, but this water was inside some sort of building… like a loading dock. It was enclosed and underground somehow. The water came up a ramp like a driveway, and there was a boat that was mostly in the water, but beached so it wasn’t floating.

Teeth Dreams 2007-10-05 20:32:28 Do you ever have dreams about your teeth, or someone else’s teeth, or just teeth? I have in the past. Weird.. but as you know from reading my dreams, they are always weird. I had a cap put on my tooth a couple of years ago. Actually, two caps. And I had a root canal just this year. The root canal wasn’t as bad as everyone had told me it was going to be, which was very good. The Dentist kept telling me how he loved doing root canals, LOL, which cracked me up.
I had to get the root canal because I bit down on a pretzel… supposedly a soft pretzel, ya know. And it hurt! And it kept hurting until the root canal. Now it’s better. I have also chipped both my caps, which was not fun. Once I even almost lost a filling and had to get to the Dentist as soon as possible. Had I known about Dentemp OS at the time, I think I wouldn’t have been in as much discomfort as I was then. Sold the House! 2007-10-26 20:50:21 I’m now in Pahrump, Nevada. Last night I dreamed that my husband and I sold our house and moved out. And I kept thinking that was the worst decision we had ever made. I have had this dream before, haven’t I? Why am I always dreaming about selling the house and what a big mistake it is?
Weird. I should look that up. I missed our house and wanted to buy it back.

Overton Dreams 2007-10-22 22:30:57 I am in Overton, Nevada for the week. Limited internet, limited time… thus my posts are a bit far between. I’m sleeping well in the hotel room, though. It’s a nice hotel, Best Western, and a nice big room. Did flyball last weekend, will do agility next weekend.
Anyway I remember a bit of my dream from last night. I was with my ex and he was pleasant to be with, so it was a good dream. With him I never knew if he would be pleasant or miserable… one of those roller coaster relationships I don’t have anymore, thank the gods.
Anyway I just remember something about going to a house in a strange city, and there were mixed relationships going on. Swapping, things like that. An aquarium upstairs, not sure what was in it… It was an odd dream and I don’t remember much anymore!

Couple Oddities 2007-10-30 16:24:23 I’m home again yay!
The night before last I dreamed that we were on a planet, me and some other people… well, it could have been Earth not sure. And it was covered by a very thick material. And someone was saying how fascinating it was, as we were walking on this material, that it was all one pieces and wrapped around the entire Earth. Hrm.
Then when we needed to get off the planet there were these tree like objects, and we hung on and they blasted us off to the spaceship above. It was a wild ride!
Earlier in the night I dreamed I was with my sister in some lobby.. doctor or dentist or something like that. And there was a door that was so mis marked it was weird. It said 1st floor, but it really was the 2nd floor. And it had directions that were wrong… I don’t remember so much now, but it was an odd one!

Dream World 2007-11-03 16:08:37 I have read some books, fantasy or sci fi mainly, where there either is a dream world, or it’s possible to get into another persons dreams and interact with them there.
With all the dreams I have, sometimes I wonder if I do go into a dream world, which is a real world. Since I’ve been keeping this dream diary I have been remembering more and more of my dreams. And I post about 95% of them. Sometimes I forget them before I post them, or I don’t have time, or I just don’t feel like it that day. But most of the time I do post my dreams.
I do dream a lot. And before I go to sleep I wonder where I am going to go that night. I do have many recurring dreams and will be tracking them here in categories. So maybe… just maybe, I do actually go to another world in my dreams?
I can hope, anyway.
