Cebest Death Anniversary
2007-06-08 05:02:16
It has been weeks since I have a proper time to sit down and take a break to have a little talk with my diary. I have been ‘working’ most of my time, writing reviews for advertisers. There seem endless tasks. However, it is a day late now. I should be writing this yesterday but my schedule was too packed. I slept at 3am last night. I could not continue further. Today, one day after the actual date, hopefully is not too late. Yesterday is the one year death anniversary for my beloved dog, Cebest. I was thinking of creating something special for him on this day, to commemorate his death. But obviously, I have not completed anything as yet. However, I could still vividly remember what happens exactly one year ago. Time flies and I am no more grieving for the loss of my dog. Life still goes on, and Cebest shall be our last pet in our lives. This is Baby, my first pet, a present from my husband. I do not know what had happened to him now. He is probably very o

Resort Holidays
2007-05-21 22:45:02
The last time I went to a resort was about five years back. The whole family went to A Famosa Resort , Malacca. We went there by coach. Upon reaching Malacca, we need to transfer to another small van. The van ultimately took us to the resort. The traveling journey was long and tiring and the children had motion sickness, and they vomited in the van. Upon reaching the resort, all of us were relieved — we finally can take a rest! We stayed at Resort Hotel, in a family room. The room is small but luckily there is a balcony. The first thing we do when we entered the room was to put down all our luggage and head towards the balcony. We were excited about the place. The place is very quiet, with not much people around. From the balcony, we saw bungalows, condominium, golf courses and some parks. This is the entrance to Water World. We spent one day at Water World. These are my children, the third and fourth from the left. They are so excited about the animals show at Ani

Explore Second Life
2007-05-18 00:04:00
During my free time, I will explore places in Second Life. This is perhaps my next hobby. visiting many places in Second Life can be fun. I can learn many things — meet people, get new ideas and get inspiration too! Yesterday I went to Texture Land. This is Texture Land at Anastasiya, a sim in Second Life, owned by Richard Palace. The creator of Texture Land is Eclairera Desideri. These are some pictures of Texture Land. For more pictures, visit Castles Inspiration at Peace Spiritual Inspiration. This is on the ground floor of the castle. There are textures for sale at the castle. In Second Life, to build objects, you need textures to make what you want. This is a passageway leading to the staircase, up to the second floor of the castle. This is the second floor of the castle showing the ramp to the third floor. This is a rug on the last floor of the castle. On top of the castle, you can enjoy beautiful sceneries with your lover here. If you would like to bui

My Name
2007-05-15 22:10:00
Is this my true self? No, not when I am with this colour and in this place. Just written an article about True Peace. Everyday I am so busy, busy with children, busy with my blogs and housework too. I feel like an octopus, having one brain but many hands to handle things. There is hardly I can find true peace at all. There is always alternatives when we give names to ourselves and our children or even pets. Username is a way of identifying the different user to websites. Thus name is a way to identify people on earth. I have always regard name as important. They have tremendous effect on a person’s life. What you think, what people may think of you, name is what the people remember of you and they are in association with you. I love peace, my purpose in life is to attain peace. I love nature. I love plants and flowers. Thus I have my name Peace Botanical when I signed up for Secondlife last year. There are no option on Bella and I love nature so I choose Botanica

Swing Your Way Home
2007-05-15 12:00:00
This swing remind me of my old home. I stayed at the old home for several years, my childhood days where I played with friends and studied there. Was walking around and saw this swing. It is a rare sight of such swing nowadays. I used to go playground when I was young. I think I prefer those playground — big playground, and you need to walk to different stations to play different things, such as swing, merry-go-round, etc. Nowadays this sort of playground can hardly be seen at HDB flats already. So I was quite surprise to see this at secondlife.

Happy Mother’s Day Card
2007-05-13 10:27:00
This is a card which Clara had given me this morning, as soon as I woke up in the morning. Today is Mother’s Day. Apparently, she had it all prepared. She woke up early in the morning, the first one to wake up in the family, went to the study room (I had no idea what she did). When she saw me woke up, she came to me, smiled to me, hug me and gave me the card. I was touched by her sincerity and kindness. She is always so sweet, so helpful and kind. This is the inside of the card. It shows a ‘pop-out’ heart. I was so surprised! She is so thoughtful and smart! I like the card. It is a card which she has made herself. It is really the thoughts that count. It is her creativity and thoughts that touches me. It is something that cannot be bought with money. It takes time and effort to make it. Thank you dear Clara. I love you. This gift, a self-made Mother’s Day Card by her, Clara, means a lot to me. She has definitely grow up. I find that lif

Virtual Gathering

This is so cute. He is my son. He has a protective shield around him. Anyone who ‘touch’ him or push him will trigger the shield. He likes to play games and recently he is enjoying making videos, uploading them at YouTube. This is a video which he had taken. He likes to play Maple Story and Rakion. Beside him is my daughter. She loves to doll herself up. We often meet to have fun at Secondlife. We have a house and this is a nice land beside the house.

Garden Of Sorrows
2007-05-09 05:40:00
The world is so full of care and sorrow that it is a gracious debt we owe to one another to discover the bright crystals of delight hidden in somber circumstances and irksome tasks. ~ Helen Keller Today I visited Garden of Sorrows by chance. Somehow I feel that God is leading me. He is with me perhaps. Garden of Sorrows is a peaceful place — very quiet and serene. The moment I step in to Garden of Sorrow, I feel relief. I feel so relax and at peace. It was said that the rain could wash away my sorrows. There were no one else at the Garden of Sorrows except for two cute animals, a bunny and a deer. I feel as though I am in paradise for a moment. I am tired, I take a seat. There are many willow trees and the surrounding is very gloomy. It is a real place for you to immerse in your sorrows, to ponder all your thoughts and problems. Out of suffering have emerged the strongest souls. ~ Edwin Hubbel Chapin

Thinking Of You
2007-05-03 23:09:13
What’s love got to do with it? A lot of things are dependent on love. Got love, many things work differently. Got love, you are more forgiving. Got love, you care from your heart. Got love, everything you do is for the good of the person. Got love, there is care and joy. Whats love got to do with it This is a nice song, an inspirational song. Whenever I hear this song, it reminds me of my brother — my elder brother. He loves to listen to this song. I used to sit in the front seat of my brother’s car. He sent me to school at times. Sometimes, I followed him when he went out to run some errands, or to work. He likes to listen to this song. And that is how I got to know this song too. The most inspirational part of this song is the beginning music. When I was studying (those days when I was a student), I love to listen to music and study at the same time. There were no computer in my home, and the only entertainment I have is my mini hi-fi. It

Red And Me
2007-05-02 00:51:00
Red, a conspicuous colour, the colour which symbolizes vengeance. It was said that people who died a terrible death will come back in red to haunt the living, to seek revenge, isn’t that sound scary? How true is that, I do not know. All I can say about red is it is a colour of fury. The most emotionally intense color, red stimulates a faster heartbeat and breathing. It is also the color of love. Red clothing gets noticed and makes the wearer appear heavier. Since it is an extreme color, red clothing might not help people in negotiations or confrontations. Red cars are popular targets for thieves. In decorating, red is usually used as an accent. Decorators say that red furniture should be perfect since it will attract attention. I do not like red. I used to have wardrobes of red clothes, little not a lot — during my studies day. Your mood and personality affects what colour you like, and that’s why there is colour pscychology. Colour can tell your personality types

Magnificent Castle
2007-06-16 05:09:37
I went exploring again at Second Life yesterday. This is Castle Argh, a very big and tall castle. Very high up the sky. I have not seen a huge castle as this before yet in Second Life. It has a long ‘bridge’ or pathway which looks like the great wall of china. I fly up the sky to take a snapshot of the whole castle. I like the close up view of the castle. It is the great architectural designs that I like. The floor, mossy and old dirty looking, make the castle looks really ancient. The windows with stained glasses of knights and other artistic patterns looks great. I cannot help but walk round the castle, to explore all the rooms it has. I had even taken a video of the castle. The interior of the castle has stairs and floors with mosaic arts. They were so nice! This is on the top of the castle. There is a hot bath jacuzzi at one corner and over here, rugs and couch for rest. Oops, almost forget, there is a casino at the ground floor of the castle. It has two floors

My Avatar
2007-06-14 08:54:26
I have been working on my template design for a few days — uploading different themes, testing out the themes.  Finally I have decided to choose this theme.  Though it is not my most ideal one, not something which I truely want, I am quite contented with this one, as I have no idea how to modify much to it.  My most ideal one which I like is a theme like what I have in Blogger, Peace Diary.   This is a blog that is uniquely me.  I want to have everything mine, but I am not prepared to disclose too much about my identity.  Why?  I would be very happy to show my family’s photographs here — my children and me, but not when there was history of a third party ‘intruder’ to the family.  I do not my ‘enemy’, our ’spy’ to know what is going on here.  I would want to have a perfect marriage, a perfect family with no cracks and no crackline at all.  But it happened.  There were cracks.  My marriage was broken before.  Now ther

Eat Dumpling
2007-06-18 05:28:00
Dumpling festival is approaching.  I do not know the exact date.  My mother never fail to make dumpling (unless she is sick).  Last night, I had dumpling for dinner.  This afternoon I had dumpling for lunch again.  Finished all the dumpling that my mother had made for me.  My mother is very good in cooking.  She knows how to ‘invent’ her own recipes, she knows how to cook delicious meals and dumplings.  She does not need any cooking books at all! Neither does she need to see cooking shows like Yan Can Cook. These are all the dumpling that she made.   She had put chestnut, dried shrimps, mushroom and pork in it.  I do not eat pork usually.  However, this is an exception.  Her dumpling is nice.  I even eat the pork!  When I was young, I can eat three to four dumpling in a row.  My second brother is the same.  We love our mother’s chicken curry and dumpling.  All her cooking we like! When I was still single and living with my mother, I have so

Casablanca
2007-06-23 11:00:12
Today I went to Casablanca , my brother is staying there. It is Saturday and Monday the children will be starting school again. The children like to go Casablanca to swim. I have taken many photographs of them. I have compiled all these pictures and put them up at YouTube, together with the song Rainy Day. It was drizzling for a while but soon everything was over and the children were having fun time. We saw Valerie and Vanessa at the swimming pool. They were swimming with their maid. The four children in the end have some fun time in the jacuzzi pool. I met up with my brother later and he bought three packets of Nasi Lemak for us. It was so kind of him. This is Casablanca Condominium at Woodlands. This is the one of the swimming pool with Jacuzzi. This is a picture of Casablanca Gym. Some more pictures at Peace Diary.

This is scary and terrible. Someone has used my email to send out spam mails. I was doing my work when I received an email notice from my OWN EMAIL ACCOUNT! This is really surprising. I thought that someone had login to my account to send an email to me. But upon careful watch, I think it is another scam. I click on the message header about the Sender and this is what it says: About Sender IDMicrosoft and other industry leaders champion Sender ID as an initiative that provides a technical solution to help counter spoofing. Spammers use spoofing as their primary deceptive practice.E-mail domain spoofing involves forging a sender’s address on e-mail messages. Malicious individuals use spoofing to mislead e-mail recipients into reading and responding to deceptive mail. Singapore Satay
2007-06-22 01:09:30
This is Singapore Satay . I ate these chicken satay yesterday. It was from a Malay Stall in Woodlands. I bought 10 sticks of chicken satays with two rice. Everything cost $6.00. I was surprised that the cost of satay had gone up. Last time it used to cost 25cents when I was a kid, then slowly went up to 30 cents and then recently 40 cents. However I had not bought satay that cost 50 cents yet from the neighbourhood stalls. The Satays look nice, with no ‘black’ burns. Some satays are too overcooked, and there are mostly ‘black’ and we are eating more carbons. That is very unhealthy. This Chicken Satay here looks very nice, yellowish, and smell nice too. And when eaten hot, it is very tasty. The gravy is a bit too watery though. Today I am going to eat the Chicken Satay again. My husband told me that Chicken rice and Chicken satay is known to be food that represent Singapore. Satay is the more commonly accepted ones as some westerners do not li

My Legs
2007-06-21 00:49:51
This is my legs. These are pictures of my legs taken after jogging. I think I have nice legs. My doctor once asked if I had aerobic exercise to maintain such a figure and nice legs. Unfortunately not. I am not a person who will do aerobic exercise. I can run well since young. I have the stamina. However, my legs are the problem. Whenever I run or jog, my legs and body starts to itch. I try to tolerate. At times, the itch subsides after I endure it and continues. At times, it just refuse to stop and it continues to get worse, and immediately after I stopped running, I have intense itch. I have to scratch it to relief my itchiness. I have the energy to continue running. But the itch just cannot allow me to do so. I had taken part in school running competition before but I never won because I never put in effort. I was not interested in taking part in the competition. However, I sort of regret now that I had not put in effort — at least I should try. It is said that the itch

Message Boards
2007-06-25 09:03:33
I am writing in response to what was encounter by Roy Allen, a single dad, who got attacked from numerous people from message board. He wrote “Why do people have to be so mean on message boards?” Why do people have to be so mean on message boards In the internet, all we see is computer, the magic rectangle that allows us to ‘communicate’ with millions of people in the world. Most of the time when we are communicating with one another, we hardly know the person across. What we see is an avatar or just a name. Who is the real person behind we do not even know. There are all kinds of people in this world. There are the good and the bad. There are the truthful ones who tell you everything and there are the dishonest ones who only keep lying and even create numerous multiple identities to create troubles and havoc. Some people rejoice when they see people suffering. Some people enjoy watching people suffer and they feel thrilled when doing such things. The

Go Church
2007-06-24 19:13:12
Yesterday the whole family went to Church at Woodlands, St. Anthony Church. It was since a long time since we last went for mass. We went for evening mass at 6pm. We were a bit late and the mass had already started. Ricsson is having his Holy Communion this coming September. I showed him how to receive Holy Communion and what are the things that he needs to do. It was so nice to go church again after such a long time. They had sang back some of the old songs which is so heart lifting. There were sometime back when they had changed all the hymns and it was so dull. But yesterday was very good, the Father spoke loud enough to be heard and the hymns were nice. At the end of the church, before the announcement, a short clips were being shown with the song Blessed Be and Ricsson loves the song. He was searching for this song last night. Something which I learned yesterday: Do you know that if a husband divorces his wife, he is committing adultery? If a man marries a divorce

Effect of GST Increase
2007-06-30 07:46:37
As usual, went to church this morning. I had missed the fish ball noodles for a month already. I was craving for it and looking forward to eating the fish ball noodles since last night. However, this morning, I did not have my usual appetite. I did not finish the fish ball noodles for the first time. Today the fish ball noodles did not look the same as before. The fish ball is much smaller and it is not as tasty as before too. The shape of the fish ball is not all even also. Some were very much out of shape, which looks very elongated like an oval plastic toy egg. This must be the effect of GST, the Goods and Services Tax which is going to increase tomorrow, on Sunday 1 July. GST is a tax charged on the supply of goods and services made in Singapore and on the importation of goods into Singapore. The current rate is 5% since 1 January 2004. However, from tomorrow onwards, the GST rate will be increased to 7%. This means that we need to pay more for what we need from tomorrow onwards.

Singapore Green Festival
2007-06-28 05:47:13
I had seen the ‘Silver’ man, the ‘Silver’ woman or ‘Golden’ man or ‘Golden’ woman before, who are immobile and looked still. However, I have never seen a green man before. Today, the very first time I had seen the ‘Green ’ man at Causeway Point, Woodlands. I am definitely not the only curious ones there. The ‘Green’ man was surrounded by curious crowds. It was a hot topic at the scene. Many were taking photos and a video of it. I had managed to take a few fast snap and I must admit these were terrible shots. There were worst ones which I had deleted. Many people walked forward to shake hands with him. My camera is obviously not that good and I cannot capture the details. The eyes were painted red actually. I wonder what is all this about. Take a closer look at the board. So it is a promotion for NorthWest Green Festival , lasting for a month, from 30 June to 31 July 2007. There will be

Avilion Castle
2007-07-02 02:38:03
This is Avilion Castle , at Avilion Grove in Second Life. Upon teleporting, I landed on this beautiful spot where I can see this stone statue couple. What a lovely sight to begin with. It is a beautiful place with breathtaking scenery and view all around the castle. It was such a big castle that I do not know which direction to head first. I had taken many beautiful pictures of Avilion Castle, all compiled into a video as shown above. Enjoy watching it with the beautiful song Can You Feel The Love Tonight. I think this song really goes well with this beautiful castle. I decide to go into the castle to have a look first before I visit the exterior beauty of the castle. To enter the castle, you need to be dressed in formal dress. The owner of the castle has provided free evening gowns and tuxedos for the women and men respectively. So if you were dressed in shorts or skirts, you do not have to worry at all. You can take their free clothes just outside their castle. This

My Wish
2007-07-01 11:31:32
My greatest wish is to have a happy family. What is a happy family? A happy family is one where the husband and wife respect and support each other. The parents and children stay united and never betray anyone. Each and everyone in the family loves one another. There is time ‘given’ to each and everyone in the family. Parents and children interacts and participate in family activities — play games, chatting, eating together and so on. Husband and wife should share responsibilities in the household matters. Note that I never use money. Though money is important and essential, it is not a hindrance to a happy family. Money can always be earned. So what if you are rich and be a millionaire, if you neglect your health and your family? So what if you are rich and be a millionaire if you forsake your family and do whatever means just to be rich? What is a real rich person? A person who is really rich is not judged according to what he owns or possess. A person who stays

Second Life Ghost
2007-06-29 03:08:45
This is a really weird avatar or character which I had come across in Second Life for the first time.  I was at Anastasiya, Palace Club when I notice this woman in white gown, with long hair.  She was all alone and at a far end of Palace Club.  I wonder what she was doing there, or perhaps she needed help. I walked towards her and began to offer my greetings to her.  I waited for sometime but there was no reply at all.  What I could see was, she was nodding her head and her tongue was sticking out and withdrawing back into her mouth, the action repeating non-stop like a dog trying to lick something.  These pictures were taken on 16 May 2007.  From that day until now, I had not seen this woman again.  I called her the ‘ghost’ character.  According to chinese shows, chinese ghost are often seen as long haired and dress in white, with their long tongue sticking out, just like this woman.

Criticism Deeply Hurt
2007-07-07 08:51:34
A dog is a dog. A cat will always be a cat no matter which country it is. A dog in Singapore won’t be any much different from another dog in United States. All dogs love to be pampered and taken care of. All dogs have the same behavioural patterns. That goes for human. Whether you are at the North Pole or South Pole. We are of the same species, Homo Sapiens. Can’t we be like the ants? We should learn from the ants. Though they are small, and to people who cannot see the ’small’ things in life, you should read more about ants. Criticism hurts and it can deeply lower a person’s self-esteem. The purpose of this blog is all my personal experience and my life. It is not a source for ridicule, mockery and scorns. I am sharing my life, my journey and my experience. I am sure there are many similar people out there who wants to seek comfort and answers at time in their life. We always find it more comforting when there are people who are ’

Have you heard of the Aesop Fables, The Man, His Son And The Donkey?  There are many people who like to comment on what people do.  It is so easy to ‘talk’ about people, comment about people, but does it do anybody any good?  Sometimes we need to put ourselves in other people’s shoes.  Of course it is all your human rights to do whatever you want, but if imagine you are one of the country man who criticise about the man and his son.  But yet you too are riding on the donkey.  What has it got to say about yourself? Probably I am not making myself very clear.  I am actually talking about sltopsites.com.  Sltopsites.com is a new website hosted by Richard Palace.  Hosting a website is not free.  Just like this website of mine, I need to pay for it.  Nothing is free in this world.  Tell me is there anything free? What is the purpose of setting up sltopsites.com?  Well, I am sure the website owner has his own reasons and his interest.  In setting up a directo

Worst Chicken Satay
2007-07-04 09:10:07
Went to eat Chicken Satay again. This is sure the last time we are going to eat at that stall at Woodlands North Plaza. First I ordered 30 Chicken Satay and 2 rice. Waited for probably 10 minutes or so. Everyone was eager to quickly eat the hot satay. But luckily the ‘Bacteria Man‘ had the first bite. He was fast to inform me that the Satay was not cooked! I took a look at it, tried it and confirmed it was not cooked. I told the stall vendor, she was very surprised. So did we. We waited for another 10 to 15 minutes. Our expectation dropped drastically, very much disappointed now. I was not going to expect the satay to be nice. The ‘outer’ part is already so well done, yet the ‘internal’ is raw. I had fried fish, I had cooked before and I understand all these. They are going to put the satay over at low heat or to ‘bake it’. As expected, when the Satay came back again, it was not steamingly hot. It was not as tasty
