My previous post concerning Ron Paul scared me to look for something Democratic to end with. After many years in college I've been confronted many times with the question about Bill Clinton and his actions in regard to Osama bin Laden. When I took a class on Al Qaeda I had to defend Clinton for his actions in Somalia and his reactions to the embassy bombings in Africa. In the end I was never sure how Clinton would defend himself in the long run. This video answers that question and reminded me why I loved Bill to begin with.Since the last post was so serious and long I'm going to post something for myself and any other Firefox users out there. If you don't get the joke then you probably don't use Firefox...

A Primer on Ron Paul's Politics
2007-06-21 22:44:00
This political ad came to my attention today and quite frankly shocked and appalled me. Apparently Ron Paul came out of right field and hit me with a baseball bat.I'm non-partisan, though most people would agree that my social beliefs hinge on the side of Democrats while my economic beliefs follow a more Republican suit. Ron Paul treads the line for both. I can't believe this man is a Republican. I can't believe I'm actually interested in his viewpoint.Tomorrow will begin the Motiveless Crime Presidential Race coverage. I would be lying if I said Ron Paul didn't have something to do with it.

Jerusalem bomber caught before gay pride detonationSo a very ultra-conservative and devout Jewish man decided he was going to blow up some gay pride activists in the name of his religion? Luckily he was stopped before he managed to detonate the homemade explosive. Last year the same thing almost happened when a Jewish man approached three marchers and called them names and was escorted from the area by police, but not before he managed to stab three of the supporters. Apparently Muslims, Jews and Christians alike can argue over everything under the sun but still agree that being naturally attracted to someone of the same sex is an abomination. The definition of abomination is something that is worthy of extreme hatred and disregard. Yet the term has taken on a religious connotation...as if the tribal hash-heads who wrote the books that these people thump were there to define what is natural and what isn't. I don't understand how a people that have been so oppressed and humiliated ca

News stories abound today concerning the Queen B (for bitch). Apparently Paris Hilton is not going to be missed at Twin Towers, the psych ward (I mean medical ward) for Lynwood jail. Apparently her presence was too "distracting" and somehow managed to divide the staff and caused plenty of tension. That is a sign of the devil, right? Divide and conquer. The New York Post reported this morning that Paris Hilton is going to be paid $1 million dollars for an interview on the Today show following her release. Apparently the interview has been tossed to Meredith Vieira because Matt Lauer has said some "disparaging" ("true") about the Queen B. I'm confused, I thought she and her family were richer than Japan...so why is she being paid? Will I watch it? Hell no. It's bad enough that I'm even writing about her at all.Paris' manager was called today to pick up over 20 crates of fan mail that have been delivered to Lynwood. Seriously, who still likes her?Angelina and Brad were spotted taking t

Earlier in the day I posted a clip very similar to this one that revealed the truth behind Google. Tonight I'm leading with one that reveals the truth behind America. For something fun to follow such a downer, check the below video which will remind you of how we got to first video to begin with...To wrap tonight's Something Before Bed I want to post this link which maps suspicious events and possible "terrorist" attacks across the world. Don't be surprised if you don't believe your eyes...the American government has a media ban on such news.Motiveless Crime is on the rise.

Day Two: Operation ArrowheadObviously this plan isn't going to work. Two mosques down in one day but luckily no civilians were harmed. Still...schools and religious institutions are not battlefields. Apparently gunfire broke out in Northeast Baghdad between US and Iraq soldiers trying to push the Sunni stronghold of the area out. The street battle ended with 30 dead.Elsewhere the operation was also turning bloody. Areas North and East of Baghdad were the sights of many street and market shootings where American and Iraqi forces tried to flush out Al Qaeda members and managed to catch a new batch for Gitmo! What are you going to do after America comes in and occupies your homeland and you fight for your religion? I'm going to Gitmo!!!Not that I agree with what Al Qaeda does. But I sure as hell don't agree with what the US is doing. Either way, the streets are becoming soaked with blood and the report that is linked above tells much more.FedEx feeling the pain of the economyYet anothe

These short news updates will be called MCNH Shorthand.I would also like to take this time to announce that the comments section of the blog is about to be reactivated after having been wiped clean. We would like to invite all readers to leave any message they wish on the articles and announcements.MCNH ShorthandYesterday Motiveless Crime reported that New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg renounced his affiliation with the GOP and declared himself an Independent. Many reporters and analysts alike thought this might be a sign that he was intending to run for President. Today Bloomberg has told reporters that he is absolutely not running for President and decided to leave the GOP because his actions in NYC since taking office did not reflect Republican politics. Google's Master Plan
2007-06-20 15:57:00
This video is finding its way all over the internet and I see why. Ironically I took it from YouTube, a site that is powered by Google . Of course I'm also posting it in Motiveless Crime which is powered by Google. I wouldn't know how to escape the irony even if I tried. The only problem I have with this video is its reflection of civilian tendencies. The video outlines and very big problem, makes it accessible and interfaces graphics flawlessly to make the end result both education and entertaining. But it lacks any ideas for fixing the problem. Citizens across the world scream at politicians about the environment, politics, healthcare, etc. yet no one reacts and also offers a solution.Perhaps the video implies that we should quit using Google entirely but I'm afraid its too late for that. Imagine having to create a sub-internet that doesn't have a single link in or out to Google. I can't really blame the creators for nor offering any solutions because I can't think of any myself.

The Stepford Wife and Tom are now denying that she is pregnant. Yesterday reports had it that the two were extremely happy to be expecting a second child but now lips are sealed. The family, including baby Suri, have been vacationing in the south of France. The baby is gorgeous, I'll admit but I can't help but think what kind of parents these two will turn out to be...considering the matching outfits and general Kennedy vibe they've been riding lately. Do take notice that baby Suri is already waving at the camera. Kind of creepy...Speaking of famous dads, Brad Pitt carries Zahara who seems as enraptured with the camera as Suri...whats with all of these camera happy parents? I guess it just means they don't have to bother taking pictures themselves. iPhone + YouTube = Media Monopoly
2007-06-20 13:43:00
Two major companies have dominated the global news circuit for the past few days. Apple and YouTube seem to have banned together in order to take over media outlets in such a way that you can’t turn on the computer without seeing their logo and a new news story that is supposed to make us giddy with glee. Yesterday Apple released word that the iPhone had suddenly gone through a battery upgrade a mere 9 days before scheduled release. Any search for the ubiquitous “iPhone” lends itself to a slew of news articles that seem to roll in faster than they can be posted. Apple knows how to market its products in such a way that the product stays on a consumers mind long after the ad has moved on but there seems to be a shift in perspective for the electronics conglomerate. The iPhone is already something that most people love to hate. It is everywhere you look and the market saturation has caused Apple to wish they hadn’t made the iPhone look so appealing early on. People have ha

Therefore Motiveless Crime will be presenting todays headlines in MCNH Shorthand.Obviously I won't be covering Paris Hilton anymore. If you want that kind of news check the Guilty Pleasures for today. The UN released a document today detailing how global production and illicit use of illegal substances has declined greatly but ultimately one major global hot spot continues to grow in its production of opium: Afghanistan. A decade ago the war torn country produced half of the opium that it does now. The UN report also stated that Afghanistan is poised to take the throne for the most opium exported in the world and also touches on the fact that Europe's cocaine use has greatly increased. Apparently the report's conclusions cover every illicit drug except heroin which seems unfazed to UN controls.Th

Obviously today's trashy celebrity gossip is going to revolve around Paris Hilton. You can't really escape the Queen B (for bitch) today, after all she spent all those horrid nights in her hole for driving under the influence. And somehow she emerges looking like nothing happened, smiling and the American public treats her as if she has been to war. Then again the American soldiers that return from the war aren't even treated this heroically. Due to my extreme distaste for Paris Hilton I will be abridging her headlines for the day in my typical fashion.Apparently last night the under sheriff that had control over Hilton's move to and fro jail stated on Larry King that Judge Sauer said Hilton was conning her doctors. Big surprise.Paris drew a nice card with a sweet message for Harvey Levin. First of all, the picture looks like something a 7 year-old would draw. Second, the handwriting looks like that of a 7 year-old. Has anyone tested Paris to see if she is smarter than a 7 year-old

Tony Blair and Arnold Schwarzenegger?
2007-06-26 12:24:00
Today is Tony Blair 's last full day in office. Many elected officials try to push through last minute legislation on their last day, or spend it wandering through Buckingham Palace or kicking themselves for ever going into Iraq. But not Tony, Tony is currently meeting with Arnold . No, it is not a joke. Apparently they met to discuss environmental issues. I'm sure Arnold brought his dictionary just in case Blair used words with more than two syllables. All jokes aside, Schwarzenegger and Blair are both very concerned with climate change. Faith-based Initiative scores a winSo the First Amendment took a hit today. George W. Bush got his way when a faith based initiative passed through the U.S. Supreme Court allowing government sponsored events that explain to religious institutions how they can easily gain government funding. Funny, most music and drama teachers would also love to go to that kind of conference but they don't get the invites that religious officials do. The government obviously believes faith is more important than education.'Anbar model' under fireA suicide bomber approached a group of tribal Sheikhs and detonated his explosive laden belt, killing four high ranking Sheikhs that were connected to US attempts at arming Sunni tribes in western Iraq. The attempted infiltration of Sunni groups had initially lowered the number of attacks on any given day but today's bombing made it clear that the fight is a lost cause if leaders continue to be killed so mercilessly. Most are calling the plan too dangerous

Linkin Park, Minutes to Midnight Review
2007-06-25 19:43:00
Linkin Park has a tendency to either please their fans or utterly disappoint them. As the saying goes, you can't please everyone but damned if they don't try on their latest album, Minutes to Midnight. Linkin Park's first two mainstream albums were met with a large following of mostly angry and loud teenagers who loved the mix of rap and metal (plus the screaming). Many called their second album, Meteora, a simple sequel to Hybrid Theory, an album that the band is constantly expected to duplicate or return to. Minutes to Midnight tries to allow the band to grow into a new sector while at the same time leaves one or two songs that continue the screaming which was probably a hopeful attempt at all of their fans who continue to devote themselves to Hybrid Theory.Minutes to Midnight is the most polished and complete album that LP has ever put forward. They stick with their attempt to tell stories with their songs, with generalist tendencies and begin the album with their trademark intro

I have no words.Tomorrow I'll be writing a review on Linkin Park's latest album Minutes to Midnight. There are a lot of ways that political commentary can be expressed. People read the newspaper and watch TV, they even take bits and pieces of advertising as truth. But there is a marked denial when it comes to political stances made in the music spectrum. The video that Linkin Park puts forward for their first single "What I've Done" shows that the band has more important aspirations than shouting lyrics of teenage angst. But does anyone listen?Motiveless Crime is on the rise.

American news outlets paint Al Qaeda as cowardsSo Operation Arrowhead scared off some 80% of the Al Qaeda operatives that were hiding out in Baghdad. My question is, if we can figure out that 80% left the area, why can't we catch them? In the past year, there have been a slew of movies concerning superheroes, spies and terrorists. Modern cinema is playing to the attributes in movies that get consumers in the seats and not anything else. This allows a large number of movies to fall through the cracks or forces them to lend their message to extreme criticism. On the other hand there are certain movies that American viewers have no interest in, namely those that confront their sense of safety and belief in the system that they can see is blatantly not working. Americans epitomize the colloquialism “ignorance is bliss”. Recently a movie that attempted to solve this came to my attention. Man of the Year was released within the past year to less than welcoming criticism. Yes, it is a comedy that stars Robin Williams (a comedian whom you either love or hate). The film does feel like something straight out of the ‘90’s political conspiracy age and it may step gingerly around its main point; however, it still has a

Motiveless Crime will not be presenting Guilty Pleasures for the day due to the terrorist attack at the Glasgow Airport.Yesterday I stated that I believed that the attempted attacks in London were only the beginning. My suspicions were confirmed when a Jeep Grand Cherokee rammed into Terminal 1 at Glasgow. Witnesses have reported that the Jeep rammed into a cement barricade, already smoking (which police are reporting may be due to Molotov cocktails being set off in the car) before two men emerged from the car. One man attempted to flee the scene but was tackled by a civilian and then contained by numerous police. The second man emerged from the car, walked to the back and removed a tank of gasoline that he used to dose himself before setting himself on fire. He was tackled as well but not before causing major burn damage to himself. He was then transferred to a hospital where a short time later the building was evacuated when a detonation device was found on his person. A third body h

If you haven't already seen this, it is worth the time. It is an interesting concept though one I doubt will ever come to fruition. The governments of the world would never allow its people to be controlled by companies unless they controlled the companies. Ultimately the missing piece of the puzzle is state interference. How would that change the line of events in this video? The shocking part is how definite the message is...as if it really was sent from the future, which the creator tried to imply at the end. Then again this isn't The 4400.After the car bombs and Prometeus I figured something light and short is in order.

Apparently the Tool is worried that someone will take a picture of his tool and it will hit the presses. Of course Beckham denies the rumors that he had any idea such a setup was in the plans.
