LeBron James Preparing for Finals
2007-06-06 14:37:00
Cavs fans have already begun to go crazy as they ready themselves for the NBA Finals that are set to start on Thursday. Home court Cavs tickets are reaching all time highs and selling for ridiculous prices. People are selling tickets upwards of 15,000 dollars for multiple seats. Fans are going LeBron James crazy and this can do nothing but help the Cavs become motivated for the hard to beat Spurs. But what are the Spurs doing to try to prepare for LeBron James? Bowen, age 36, will match up against LeBron James and try to shut him down. Not likely. It is going to be a challenge to stick on LeBron James but Bowen says he is up to the challenge.

LeBron James is Heading to the Finals
2007-06-04 15:36:00
Wow, if you guys missed the last game of the Cavs/Pistons series then you missed one of the most amazing games that LeBron James ever had ( next to game 5). Talk about winning when it counts, LeBron James scored 50 points in game 5 against a Piston defense that never let up. This 21 year olds talent can be matched up against the greats and he is barely old enough to buy a drink. By game 6, LeBron James was too hot to stop, taking his teammates to the NBA Finals with a final score of 98 to 82. San Antonio watch out, here LeBron James comes. The first game of the Finals series will be on Thursday so mark your calendars.

Who Saw LeBron James Full Court Shot?
2007-05-29 13:18:00
Wow, I could not believe the video that I just saw of LeBron James while at practice, sinking a full court shot. The Espn tapes were rolling as LeBron James hucked a practice basketball 92 feet across the hard wood into the opposing net. Is there anything this guy can't do? LeBron James dunks and sinks full court shots, he is pretty amazing. After sinking the shot LeBron put up his hands and nonchalantly walked off court saying "And I'm Out". The reporter couldn't believe it and the on lookers immediately began to cheer. Let's hope LeBron James brings this kind of game play to the remainder of the Piston/Cavs series.

LeBron James Silences the Pistons
2007-05-28 15:45:00
If you didn't catch game 3 of the Eastern Conference NBA Finals last night then you missed out. LeBron James put on a show while leading his team to an 88-82 victory. It is apparent how bad both of these teams want to win and that can be seen by the small scoring gap through all three games. Did you guys see the LeBron James dunks in the third quarter?   The Cavs knew that they had to win this game and worked hard in doing so. LeBron James scored 32 points, had nine rebounds and 9 assists. He spread the love around demonstrating how unselfish his game play can be. Cleveland went wild after their victory which hopefully has given LeBron James enough confidence to win game 4 at home.

LeBron James Fought Hard but Fell Short For Game 1
2007-05-22 15:17:00
LeBron James and the Cavs faced up against the Detroit Pistons yesterday but their showing was lack luster. LeBron James uncharacteristically was very silent the entire game, only scoring 10 points. He was not the only player that had a bad game; his teammates did not help out with the Cavs guards making only 8 of their 27 shots. The final score was a low scoring 79-76 which goes to show that even though LeBron James and the Cavs had a poor performance they still hung in there and lost by only three. Next game, LeBron James will need to focus on getting open and scoring points. The Pistons are a Veteran team who have had a lot of playoff experience. LeBron James will calm down and come back strong for game 2.

LeBron James Continues Playoff Victories
2007-05-21 17:07:00
LeBron James and the Cavs have been nothing less than hot while playing during the playoff series and with the Nets now defeated LeBron James has set his sights on silencing the Pistons. It's amazing to think that the last time that the Cavs had made it this far in the NBA playoffs was when LeBron James was nothing more than a little seven year old boy who had dreams of playing with the pros. But what is it going to take for the Cavs to reach the NBA Playoffs? LeBron James will need to communicate with his team and keep the ball moving on offense. With so much momentum from the Net victory don't be surprised to see some signature LeBron James dunks to get the crowd riled up. We will have to wait and see what game 1 of the Eastern Finals has to offer.

Lebron James Dunks But Falls Short
2007-05-18 01:17:00
Yesterday, LeBron James and the Cavs fought hard to secure themselves a seat in the Eastern Conference playoff finals but just could not come up with a win. The Nets won game five with a final score of 83 to 72. As you can see this was a low scoring game that relied on team synergy that LeBron James led. An angered LeBron James squared up verbally against the Net's Mikki Moore during game four, after he flagrantly fouled a fellow teammate which helped them win that game but nothing could fire up LeBron James for game five. Game six will be played tomorrow at seven in New Jersey and I can only hope that LeBron James dunks and out defends the weak Nets team.

LeBron James Falls to Nets
2007-05-14 13:21:00
On May 12, 2007, LeBron James and the Cavs lost their first game in the series against the Nets. The final score was 85 to 96 and the series is now 2-1 with the Cavs leading. Part of the Nets problem during this game was that LeBron James and teammates were controlling the rebounds. On the bright side, it is no surprise that the Nets won because they were essentially playing to stay alive and LeBron James could not do enough to stop them; a loss would have insured a series loss down the road. The Nets know that if they can not improve down low, stopping LeBron James and begin to control the boards that they will lose game four. LeBron James dunks and played hard defense but the Nets held on to win the game. LeBron James will come back hard for game four. The Cavs are hot right now and working together thanks to the team's leader LeBron James.

LeBron James Turns Up the Heat
2007-05-09 14:25:00
LeBron James and the Cavs took game 2 of the second round of the Eastern playoffs last night. They beat the Nets with a final score of 102 to 92 with a solid performance the entire game. LeBron was playing at 100% with no signs of any cold. LeBron was hot the entire game, hitting shots from all around the key and slamming a few patented Jame's dunks. He ended the night with 36 points, 1 rebound and 12 assists. James said that they did what they needed to do at home and now they have to take their momentum to the Nets home town. LeBron seems to be bent on sweeping the Nets so I’m excited to see the results of game three that will be played on the 12th.

LeBron James Holds Up During Game 1
2007-05-07 12:31:00
A sick LeBron James held up yesterday to secure their first victory, in game one, against the Nets in the second round of the Eastern playoffs. The final score was a close 81 to 77. Because of his cold during the game yesterday, we did not get to see any amazing LeBron James dunks that we were all hoping for but we did get a win and that's all that matters. The Nets didn't seem to be performing at the top of their game with a loose defense and uncommunicative offense. The Cavs took advantage of this with LeBron receiving 21 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists. Game two will be held later this week.

LeBron James Dropping New Sneakers
2007-05-05 18:32:00
Supposedly, this summer LeBron James will be dropping a new line of sneakers through Nike. After looking at some of the pictures released of shoe that will be called the Zoom LeBron IV Fruity Pebbles, I was completely impressed by their cool rainbow design. The bottom half of the shoe resembles a bag of fruity pebbles, hence the name. This will be a limited edition high top that will go for the high price of 250 dollars. This doesn't come as any surprise because it seems that all the Nike gear that LeBron releases is extremely expensive. If you got the extra doe to spend on some new LeBron James sneaks look out for the Fruity Pebbles, they will be sure to turn heads.

How is LeBron Spending His Free Time?
2007-05-03 13:06:00
Now that the Cavaliers have swept the Wizards they have some time off before round two begins. The question is: How Is LeBron James spending his free time? Some might imagine he is practicing on his home court, perfecting his amazing LeBron signature dunks but from what he has said he will be taking it easy until the playoffs resume. He says that he will walk his dog, King, who is a large mastiff. James hopes that the Raptors will win their series against the Nets and meet the Cavaliers in the second round. This break will give LeBron James some needed rest in order to come back fresh for his next opponents. James says that as long as his team continues to communicate and work together, they will be a problem for any opponent.

LeBron and Cavs Sweep Wizards
2007-05-02 12:06:00
Here is some great news, LeBron James and the Cavs have swept the Wizards . They will now move into round two of the playoffs. LeBron proved himself an assest to his team by great passing, strong defense and overall communication. James scored an average of 30 points through the series which is a very solid scoring statistic. Along with LeBron's ball movement skills he gave the audience what they wanted with some amazing dunks. Who LeBron James will meet in round two is still up in the air. The fact is that LeBron James has brought his team together and they are all benefiting because of it. Round two should be a great match up.

Chalk Up another LeBron James Victory
2007-04-30 13:55:00
LeBron James and the Cavs won game three with a final score of 98-92 on Saturday. This comes as great news because it puts the Cavs three games ahead of the Wizards with a series standing of 3-0. No NBA team in the playoffs has come back to win a series after going three games down. LeBron played well even though he missed all his shots in the fourth quarter. James ended the night with 30 points which does not reflect the amazing team communication that he held with the Cavs through out the game. This series so far has been all about teamwork and LeBron has been doing a great job of spreading the love around. The final game of the series could be tonight if the Wizards lose their fourth straight. I hope to see some amazing LeBron James signature dunks tonight.

LeBron Helps Move toward Wizard Sweep
2007-04-26 14:34:00
Last night, the Cavs beat the Wizard s for the second time with a final score of 109 to 102. Things did not go as well for LeBron's body; he left the game iced up on both legs. This may point towards possible rest for James in the upcoming game but it is too early to tell. He ended the game with 27 points, but as a team the Cavs did not look to good. What saved LeBron James and the Cavs from a possible loss was the absence of two of the Wizards star players, Arenas and Butler. Game 3 will be played on the Wizards turf in Washington. Hopefully, LeBron comes back with a full recovery.

LeBron Fights for Victory
2007-04-23 14:47:00
Yesterday, the Cavs won their first playoff game against the Washington Wizards with a final score of 97 to 82. A scary moment occurred in the third quarter when LeBron James fell to the ground with a tweaked ankle. The King knew he could not give up so he continued to play with a sprained ankle and ended up scoring 23 points. He also had 9 rebounds, 7 assists and 2 steals. While the Wizards showed they had come to play they could not overtake the determined Cavs. LeBron is said to be ok and will be ready for game two on Wednesday. If they keep up the intensity seen yesterday the Cavs should quickly take the Wizards.

LeBron and Cavs Fighting For Second Seed
2007-04-18 16:27:00
Last night the Cavs beat the 76ers with a final score of 98-92. Now all LeBron has to do is sit back and hope for a Nets victory in order to help secure a second seed in the playoffs. Right now they are in contention with the Chicago Bulls but with a final win tonight and a Nets win they will have second place. LeBron has been heard saying that he is excited for a home court advantage during the start of the playoffs and will be watching to see what the Nets do in their final game. Tonight, be sure to watch the Cavs final game against the Bucks because it's going to be a big one. LeBron James along with all his teammates will need to play solid ball tonight to secure the win.

Cavs Secure Home Court in Playoffs
2007-04-16 14:04:00
After the 94-76 victory against the New Jersey Nets, LeBron James and the Cavs have secured themselves a home court advantage for the beginning of the playoffs. The Cavs absolutely destroyed the Nets earlier last week with an on point offense and impenetrable defense. This was the kind of game that we want to see them play in the playoffs. LeBron had 35 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. During second half of the game, LeBron shined controlling the boards and laying down some amazing dunks. The Cavs are looking really good and seem to be ready for play off contention. James said that excitement was high between him and his teammates and they could not be more ready to win some post season games. I can't wait to see them in the playoffs.

LeBron Helps Cavs Win
2007-04-09 14:01:00
This past weekend, on Saturday, the Cavs played and defeated the 39-36, Washington Wizards. The final score was a close 99 to 94. LeBron helped push his team to victory during the fourth quarter when he scored 14 points. The Wizards were missing their star player, Gilbert Arenas, which helped take the pressure off a poor shooting James during the first 3/4 of the game. LeBron ended the game with 25 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Offensively LeBron said he did not play to well but during the fourth quarter, when it counted, his team came together and secured a needed win. The Cavs now have a record of 46 and 31.

Heat smoke LeBron
2007-04-06 16:49:00
You guys probably saw it; the Cavs had a disappointing loss in overtime last night to the Miami Heat with a final score of 94-90. The Cavs played hard but Shaq and Walker has amazing games. Both scored 20 points which secured their spot in the playoffs. They were hungry for a victory and LeBron could not do enough to stop them. The Cavs loss pushed them to three places behind the post season seedings. James did do a very good job with 35 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists but it was not enough. As of now, if the playoffs were played in a couple days these two teams would meet in the first round.

Cavs vs. Heat
2007-04-05 13:32:00
LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers are set to play the 40-34 Miami Heat tonight at 7:00pm Eastern time. The game will be held at home and is very important for both teams in securing a play off spot. Both teams have star players who are not at 100%; LeBron and Wade so the game is going to rely heavily on ball movement, a strong defense and calculated shots. Wade has been out since the end of February with a dislocated shoulder that has continued to give him trouble. The Cavs may not have had LeBron for the past few games but it hasn’t stopped them from winning three in a row. Tonight should be a great match up.

LeBron James is Back!
2007-04-04 13:55:00
Last night, the Cavs played and beat the Minnesota Timberwolves with a final score of 101 to 88. LeBron was fit to play yesterday and he showed it with 31 points, 6 assists and 12 rebounds. The tendonitis in his right knee had gone away enough for him to play but he still said he is not 100%. James said he was closer to 85% recovered. One thing is certain and that is LeBron will defiantly be ready for playoffs as long as he continues treatment and takes all the necessary precautions for full recovery for. Did you guys see any of the King's three show stopping dunks last night? It was really something to see him back on the court. Eastern Conference watch out, the Cavs are back. Here's some LeBron dunks to remind you of what he brings to the NBA:

Tendonitis benches LeBron
2007-04-03 14:41:00
As seen during the Boston Celtic game on Sunday, LeBron James was not able to play. On Monday doctors treated his right knee for tendonitis. The Cavs are to play the Minnesota Timberwolves tonight but the decision to play LeBron has not been finalized. Coaches say that they will asses his situation during warm ups, post game and then decide if he should play. This game is very important in the race to take the Eastern Conference so hopefully he is fully recovered by game time. Despite being immobilized on Monday, LeBron was awarded with Eastern player of the month. Let's hope he can return soon at 100%

Celtics Win while LeBron Sits
2007-04-02 17:45:00
Yesterday, the Cavs were upset by the Celtics with a final score of 98-96. LeBron sat the entire game on the bench wearing dress attire. James sat because the coach and doctors had decided that the best treatment for his bruises and knee tendinitis was a break. The Celtics also sat one of their best players, Pierce, but one can only think that if LeBron had come in for just the last two minutes, the Cavs could have pulled out a victory. As of now they have fallen 3.5 games behind the Eastern leading Pistons. It is probably best that he gets his rest and comes back at 100% for the remainder of the season. I just hope he does not sit for any more entire games.

Cavs to meet the Bulls
2007-03-31 14:17:00
Today, LeBron and the Cavaliers will journey to the United Center to play the Chicago Bulls. The game is set to start at 3:00pm eastern time. This game may mean more for the Bulls because if they win it would place them in second place in the Eastern Conference. James will have to do everything that he can to prevent a Chicago victory. Record wise both teams are very even with the Cavs at 43-29 and the Bulls at 43-30. It should be a great match up today and LeBron is going have to work hard to make plays and assist his teammates. A strong Cavalier defense will win this game.

LeBron James has Put Ohio on the Map
2007-06-12 12:37:00
When you think of Akron, Ohio not much comes to mind. Not until LeBron James came around. He has put his small town of Akron, Ohio on the map. Residents of Akron have said that there have been many instances when telling people where they are from that they are asked if they had ever meet or seen LeBron James. Many can still remember the LeBron James dunks that he used to lay down on the courts of St. Vincent High School. A lot has change since then but residents of Akron say that he is same kid that grew up playing basketball on the blacktop of Ohio.

LeBron James and the Cavs Offseason
2007-06-21 17:51:00
The Cavs and LeBron James have entered the off season a little bit later than usual but that does not mean that there is no room for improvement on their squad. Trade rumors are already beginning to fly and many are wondering if Varejao will leave or be offered enough money by the Cavs to stay. Some good news for LeBron James and the Cavs is that GM, Danny Ferry has been given the ok to spend more than they had before on the upcoming season's roster because of their exceptional season. LeBron James will come back next season no matter what happens. We can only hope that the Cavs franchise officials make the right player moves in order to create a stronger squad and compliment LeBron James better then they had this year. LeBron James may be the star of his team but that team must get better if they want to continue to go far in the NBA play-offs.

LeBron James on the ESPYs
2007-06-28 19:23:00
LeBron James has made many media appearances through advertising and other endorsements but this year he will be able to add one more thing to his resume. LeBron James will help co-host this year's ESPN ESPY Awards. They are set for July 15th and will air at 9 pm on ESPN. LeBron James will host with comedian Jimmy Kimmel. ESPN released this year's sports nominees on Monday so go online to ESPN's home to check out who is up for what awards. Hopefully, LeBron James will win this year's "Best Male Athlete" award but there are many other qualified contenders. LeBron James jokingly said in a press release that as long as Lance Armstrong is not up for best male athlete of the year he has a fighting chance. The ESPYs will take place in LA's Kodak Theater.

Is LeBron James Taking the Same Path as Jordan?
2007-07-05 16:39:00
LeBron James has already been considered by many to be the best player considering his age that the NBA has seen in awhile. His hype during his insertion into the NBA was on the same level that Jordan saw when he hit the NBA. The thing is that LeBron James is great player but he wasn't able to help his team win a single game in the NBA Finals. Call it bad luck or lack of team cohesion but this is not a stat that Jordan ever had. While I think LeBron James is a great player that will only increase in talent as he matures in the league, I don't think that LeBron James is at the same level as Jordan. A similarity between the two is the degree to which each has sold themselves. They have both become businesses in themselves and you have to respect that. LeBron James will go down in history as one of the best players to come straight from High School. What do you think about the comparison of Jordan and LeBron James?

New Salary Cap May Affect Cavs
2007-07-12 20:20:00
The 2007-08 NBA season will be met with salary cap changes. The cap for this season is 55,630,000 dollars. For the Cleveland Cavaliers it means that they might go over the tax threshold because they plan to re-sign Anderson Varejao and Sasha Palovic. This would be the first time in franchise history that the Cleveland Cavaliers would go over their limit. LeBron James has nothing to worry about and will still make around 43 million dollars for the next three seasons before contract talks can begin. LeBron James will then have an option to play another year for the Cavs for around 17 million dollars. The new rule also requires the Cavs or any other team to put one dollar into a fund that gives teams under the tax line money for every dollar that they go over the tax limit.
