1) Money Links - 45n5 has made a new edition to the top 100 make money online blogs list. He has started his own sort of ranking system for the posts within those top100 blogs. The users of 45n5 can vote up or down any posts they feel they want to vote on and this will be another thing the blogs in the list will be assessed by! This is a great idea in my opinion and great edition to Mark’s linkbait list!

I’m sorry to my regular readers for not posting today and possibly not posting tomorrow (hopefully my internet will be working straight away in my new room). I will be going to Sheffield University
tomorrow morning. As you can imagine, today has been very busy for me and I haven’t time to go on my computer until now. For those of you that are interested I will be studying Chemical Engineering.

Stay ahead of the game with KillerStartups.com 2007-09-19 05:35:19 When blogrush came out the other day it was the big guys like John Chow, ProBlogger and Shoemoney who got most of the referrals. Thats because they get to know about the launches of new sites quickly. This could be because they know the person who is launching the site or they could be using a service like KillerStartups.com.
KillerStartups show a list with a short description of new website launches. This is useful as if you get in one something quick, such as blog rush you can benefit a whole lot more than if you didn’t.
Of course this is not the main reason why they got most of the referrals, its because they have a large audience and influence on their readers, theres no quick fix to get that so one thing you can do is take a peak at Killerstartups and see what interesting sites are getting launched.

How to See a Non-Public Feed Count 2007-09-18 10:58:08 I got some great information in my mail box from sabahan this afternoon on how to see a non-public feed count. At first I thought yes!!!! This is the answer to making the top 50 make money online blogs ordered by RSS without errors. I started looking at some of the blogs in the 45n5 Top100 list that were not public…
Then I realized maybe some of these bloggers have their feeds private for a reason! they dont want them public, so if I was to publicize them it wouldn’t be too smart… So if you want to checkout how big of a feed a blog has thats not public check this out…

Big Rush to Post about BlogRush 2007-09-18 08:24:54 As many of you already know blog rush was launched a few days ago and everyone seemed to be posting about it. I decided not to post about it and see if the thing actually works. Top 50 Make Money Online Blogs Ordered by RSS Readers 2007-09-16 21:18:15 45n5 recently did the top100 list for make money online blogs, which was worked out on google page rank, alexa rank and technorati rank. A lot of people suggested for the list to include RSS readers into the ranking system, which so far hasn’t been implemented. I thought it might interesting to look at the RSS figures for the blogs in the Top100 list by 45n5.
Two things I noticed by looking on everyone of these blogs was many blogs had their RSS numbers hidden which kind of makes this list a little inaccurate, but still interesting none the less and also nearly every blog is using the new blogrush widget.
I would of liked to have made the list a Top 100 list in order of RSS there was some many blogs not publicizing their RSS numbers it proved too difficult. If you would like to be added to the List then please contact me

Google is a Joke 2007-09-30 12:21:31 After the longest wait for Google
PageRank to happen, it looks like its finally starting… how do I know this? JohnChow.com has gone from PR6 to PR5 why would Google do this? John Chow must be getting inbound links coming in on a daily basis because everyone writes about him. So why would Google decrease the Chows page rank? Well we know that Google obviously doesn’t like Chow because they not long ago bitch slapped him for doing his ‘review me for a backlink’ campaign. He was at #1 spot for ‘make money online’ in Google and now I think he’s on page 6-7, he doesn’t even rank on page 1 for his own name…. how ridiculous…
My question is.. Is Google being fair? In my eyes there was no reason John Chow’s Page Rank should go down to PR5 it seems to me that Google is being unfair…

It really is ridiculous they go on and on about how much money they make and how much you can make but never actually tell you what the fuck it actually is, because in reality they actually make most of their money buy selling their shitty ebook with information you already know.

Don’t Be Afraid to Blog as Yourself 2007-10-10 08:58:49 Firstly apologies for not posting as much as I normally do, the university degree course I am doing is a lot harder than I originally thought, so most of my time is going towards personal study rather than blogging and internet etc.
What I want to talk about in this blog post is obvious from the title ‘don’t be afraid to blog as yourself’. What I mean by this is, be yourself when writing, don’t write as if your a professional blogger if you’re not. Its taken me a while to figure this out because if you look at some of my earlier posts in this blog, you will find I don’t really put any personality in my posts and kind of keep it on a professional basis.
But ask yourself do you want to read a professional blog with no personality or do you want a read a blog that has personality and opinions rather than keeping straight down the middle and not showing your opinions because you are scared of what others might think. Basically TNX is an advertising system which allows you to buy and sell text links, but with a difference to Text Link Ads. With TNX when you buy text link ads from them you can buy lets say 5,000 links for only $5.7 a month or 1,000 links for only $1.14. Rather than $15/link with TLA!
You can pick what type of links you want by category such as business, finance, industrial, real estate etc. You can pick how many yahoo backlinks they have and what Google page rank they have. There is also a geo-targeting part so you can choose what language the sites are in. TNX uses a points system where 1 TNX-Point = $0.002.

How to Decrease Your Blog Traffic and RSS Readers 2007-10-14 17:25:14 I’ve got to address the current position of this blog. Basically with me going to University I haven’t had a lot of time to work on my blog and write quality posts. And as a result you get this….
I’ve said this loads of times on this blog in order to have a successful blog you need to update it regularly and invest time in your posts to make them quality content. Unfortunately over the past 2 weeks I haven’t been able to do this. This is an example of content is king. People want fresh new content on a regular basis in order to come back and visit your blog. They will not go back and read your old content the majority of the time.
Post Sporadically or Poor Quality and Watch your Figures Demolish!
So what can I do to change this?
