Stamps from Afghanisthan 2007-06-08 21:53:00 These are some of the thousands of Afghan stamps printed since postal service started in Afghanistan in late 19th century. The variety of Afghan stamps is amazing and it can be seen in the small collection seen below. Stamps
have been printed from late 1800s to 1996. Since 1992, postal service was disrupted because of the civil war and in 1999 postal service was operating again for the first time in 7 years.
