petunia drop 2008-07-11 12:14:02 In the process of beautifying our house for its stint as the Hotel Bombay this summer, I have filled our patio with colourful containers of flowers. The only thing foiling my plan is the BUG situation. Aphids are my nemesis. I think next year I'll plant nothing but geraniums. Bugs seem to leave them alone.

last weekend for our annual camping trip. On the evening of July 4 we all trouped down to the beach to watch the fireworks across the strait on the American side. From here, the fireworks looked like tiny red and white explosions close to the horizon. It seems that every tiny American community all along the coast puts on a display.Here's a pic of Shorn, Raje
