My Feelings On Illegal Immigration 2007-05-28 10:25:35 Growing up in El Paso Texas, I have had first hand experience on the impact of illegal immigration. Some schools that I attended were over 95% Hispanic. I had no choice but to integrate in order to ensure my survival.
Due to this experience, I know exactly how it feels to be a minority in my own country. I would be willing to say that the majority of law makers have never had to completely adapt themselves to another culture in order to survive.
I learned Spanish, I learned their culture, and I embraced it as my own as I had no choice…
De-Integration
The majority of the United States population (regardless of race) chooses to adopt and abide by the laws of their community and country. The majority of the population also accepts people for their differences while embracing an American culture as a whole.
Due to the fact that illegal immigrants are essentially ghosts in American society, they often times develop their own communities that do not adapt, nor embrace the sta Read more:Feelings

The Eyes Of The Border 2007-05-27 11:01:26 While working on my border security solution, I located a nifty surveillance tool. This little camera pretty much does it all.
Here are some of the features:
LONG/EXTENDED RANGE THERMAL IMAGING
The 50/250 mm long range or 100/500 mm extended range thermal imaging in the Ranger II & III are available in mid or large format. The Ranger imagers can track vehicles at distances greater than 20 km, through smoke, dust and most obscurants.
DUAL FIELDS OF VIEW
The Ranger’s dual field of view system allows for fast target orientation and situational awareness as well as super long range zoom.
POWERFUL DAYLIGHT IMAGING
The Ranger MS ensures 24 hour operation with a powerful 26x daylight color camera.
GEO-MAPPING & TARGET POSITIONING
Pinpoint suspect locations in real time on a mapping display with the Ranger MS’s advanced GPS based geo mapping and target positioning.
PROGRAMMABLE
The Ranger MS allows for a programmable search pattern, reducing operator workload.

First Pass At the "Great Wall Of The United States" 2007-05-26 21:39:33 Anyone who has ever achieved success knows that it takes a clear vision with established goals to accomplish any major task. With that said, common sense tells us that the first step to solving illegal immigration is to secure the border between the UnitedStates
and Mexico.
I have an extensive background in designing, developing, and executing construction projects from residential construction to large scale commercial construction. My plan is to use the knowledge that I have acquired from this experience, and put it towards developing a solution along with a cost estimate for securing our Nation's border.
With so many varying opinions in our government, it is a wonder that they can agree on what type of $4 bottled water they will consume during their official sessions. It could take them 10 years to put a real plan together for securing the border, and quite frankly I am not going to sit around and wait for that.
So here are my four innitial goals for securing the U.S. Mexican Read more:First

A sad day indeed. 2007-05-21 18:36:51 The Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund (MALDEF) and the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) Foundation of Texas won a request for a temporary restraining order (TRO) today to block implementation of an anti-immigrant ordinance in Farmers Branch. The ordinance was initially adopted by the Farmers Branch City Council in January and was recently approved by Farmers Branch residents in a vote on Saturday, May 12. The TRO blocks the ordinance from going into effect tomorrow as scheduled.
Last week, attorneys for the ACLU and MALDEF filed the TRO application to block implementation of the ordinance. U.S. District Court Judge Sam A. Lindsay today granted the requests.
"We are grateful that the court recognized the potential harm to landlords and tenants in Farmers Branch, should this unconstitutional ordinance have gone into effect," said Lisa Graybill, Legal Director for the ACLU of Texas. "We are confident that the court's preliminary findings will be sustained as the
