reverting back to old blogger
1970-01-01 00:59:59
I'm returning to my old template. I thought it was gonna be easy shifting from the old to beta but I can't find ways to add the features of my old template so I'm sticking with it, perhaps, until the end of the week until I figure out how to manipulate the beta templates. friends increases longevity
1970-01-01 00:59:59
alien friends by Noesis of QuinnHaving friends, according to experts, help increase one's longevity . "In a 10-year longevity study of people aged 70 and older, researchers at the Centre for Ageing Studies at Flinders University in Adelaide, Australia concluded that a network of good friends is more likely than close family relationships to increase longevity in older people" (About.com). Based on the results of the study, the experts learned that:Close relationships with children and relatives had little effect on longevity rates for older people during the 10-year study.People with extensive networks of good friends and confidantes outlived those with the fewest friends by 22 percent. The positive effects of friendships on longevity continued throughout the decade, regardless of other profound life changes such as the death of a spouse or other close family members.Another study also reported in the British Medical Journal also suggests a similar result. the new template
1970-01-01 00:59:59
At last, a new beta-blogger friendly template . It's a far cry from my former template which has bright colors and hard to read texts. This time it tones down from the bright side. I need to write a post badly since I've been missing in my blogging for almost 2 weeks already. It's because of that "god-forsaken" storm that uprooted electric posts that caused some places within Metro Manila an almost eternity with no electricity. Actually, I should've been blogging this Sunday but my brother was using our PC for the next two more days to finish his "thesis paper" Talk about a series of unfortunate events conspiring to stop you from blogging, but I'm thinking that maybe there's a "divine" reason why it's so. You know, the whole cosmic-plot God's-will thing to keep you from doing something because there's another thing that you should be doing or should be happening to you for a reason which you can't comprehend for the moment. Anyways, I'm here to blog no

Takeshi's Castle Philippines
1970-01-01 00:59:59
photo snatched from wikipedia"Takeshi's Castle (風雲!たけし城 Fūun! Takeshi Jō) was a Japanese game show that aired from 1986 to 1989 on the Tokyo Broadcasting System. It featured the esteemed Japanese actor Takeshi Kitano as a count who owns a castle and sets up impossible challenges for players (or a volunteer army) to get to him. The show has become a cult television hit around the world" (Wikipedia) The show starts with 142 contestants. They will undergo several challenges where most of them will be eliminated until they reach the "Final Showdown" where they face-off with the Count Takeshi. The one who wets and eventually holes the paper ring on his cart without having his/her own paper ring damaged wins the game with one million yen. The show is like a giant live human video game where the contestants get to experience wacky but challenging obstacles where human folly and cleverness becomes the source of entertainment and laughter. Of course, the costumes of the

love handles
1970-01-01 00:59:59
According to Wikipedia; ""love handles ' is a colloquial or slang term for a layer of fat that is deposited around a person's midsection, especially visible on the sides, which is believed to have some resemblance to handles" Love handles are more common in men than women, as the midsection is one of the first regions where fat is stored in the male body (women tend to accumulate fat around the hips and thighs). Love handles generally become more pronounced as a person ages and approaches middle age. Basically, once it blows out of proportion, it becomes a sort of handles around one's midsection which somehow suggest a place to grab on during love making. That's why it's been called that. You get love handles from lack of exercise and fat-burning activities, excessive drinking and eating, and an over-comfortable lifestyle. Having these protruding layers of fat around your waist is a big eye sore in today's "healthy and fit lifestyle" which views lean or ultra-muscul

Dating Ideas that Lead to Sex: Pinoy Style
1970-01-01 00:59:59
According to Askmen.com, men date women for several reasons but one above all gives them more motivation to do it. It's sex which they say as "the ultimate aim of dating". We get creative when it comes to dating all because we are hoping to convince her to go to bed with us afterwards. The article provides creative ideas on how to make your date want to drag you to bed with her. As they put it; "dating ideas that will get her heart racing, set you apart from the competition, and most importantly, make her want to drag you into the bedroom". They start off with a dating idea such as "tango". Tango is regarded as one of the great passionate dances and involves a lot of close physical contact. Therefore, it's something sensual, I guess. Then it's the "casino" dating idea where they say women love men who like taking risks and compares it with James Bond. "Costume parties" was another though I don't quite get the idea of letting her play with costumes to release

Viagra
1970-01-01 00:59:59
Also known as syldinafil citrate, it is a drug used to treat male erectile dysfunction and pulmonary arterial hypertension. It is developed by the pharmaceutical company Pfizer. "Viagra pills are blue and diamond-shaped with the words "Pfizer' on one side, and "VGR xx' (where xx stands for "25", "50" or "100", the dose of that pill in milligrams) on the other" (Wikipedia). Viagra is also informally known as "Vitamin V", "the Blue Pill", as well as various other nicknames. Taken as a pill shortly before sexual intercourse, Viagra works by selectively dilating blood vessels in the penis, improving blood flow and allowing a natural sexual response. It works in about 70% of cases. Why Viagra, well, I can't answer that but how it started according to www.eros-ny.com was; "In 1989, Pfizer was developing a drug to treat angina. They noticed that the patients receiving the new drug seemed to take a great interest in any passing nurse. Later, in their testing of Viagra, Pfizer us

Hello to All You Bloggers!!!Good day everyone. This is my first time to blog. I still don't have any precise idea as to how this new endeavor of mine will affect me or, perhaps, others in the process but I'm hoping that it won't be for the worst. I'm from the island of the Philippines and I think I am more than capable of sharing an opinion or two regarding almost anything under the sun (or…including those that aren't even found under the sun). My "no.1" purpose in joining this whole blogging thing going on is the prospect of money (Of course, I'm also interested in posting what's going on in my mind, but the very idea of earning a little from it through adsense make it all too interesting). Currently, I'm experimenting on various ways of earning money in the web, testing all possible ways of earning a decent income (just as what most successful internet gurus, including those making scams, are saying) and perhaps quitting my job if I'll be successful in hitting

Love Sickness
1970-01-01 00:59:59
Sometime ago, I had a friend who often tell everyone he is love sick. Love sick because he misses his girlfriend who flew to the United States for a better job opportunity. He wanted to follow but the US embassy always denied his passport due to, well…, several reasons. Even if he decided not to speak of his love sickness, by the way one perceives his mood from day to day and with the fact that he was separated from the one he loved, people would immediately know that he really suffers from love sickness. How is it that we came to know of this emotional distress, problem, dysfunction, or disorder as love sickness?Anyone, if asked about it, would just answer it as simply falling out of love or a case of broken heart, a simple or a complicated misunderstanding then we fall out of love, or there are just some circumstances that are out of our control which prevents us from continuing then we fall out of love. And the result will be a painful sensation believed to be located somewhere in

10 Things All Women Love
1970-01-01 00:59:59
Oh yeah, this article is long overdue. It's supposed to be out 2 weeks ago but it's only now that it's seeing the light of day in my blog. I'm not sure if it's a good thing or a bad thing but the long time without blogging activity made me think about the topic long enough (just given thought about it for a long time, just the thought and constant pretending-to-be-occupied about something without coming up with any bright ideas nor handy conclusions in the end) that it almost made me question why am I writing about it? I've read it from Askmen dot com (one of my many staple sources of ideas to pump into this blog) and thought it was true until, heck, a storm came; and maybe it was the flying roof I saw across our window that made me think if it's really that important to write about it (which, by the way, also goes to my other love articles, how stupid. After all that time writing, only now I realized). Then, a piece of our roof took off and I thought it doesn't matter

Soup No. 5
1970-01-01 00:59:59
A soup whose primary ingredient is a bull's dick (sometimes a horse's), it is believed to be a very potent love potion in the form of aphrodisiac more powerful than Viagra. Of course, it's only a stuff of fancy that most Filipinos claim to have experienced after eating it. A purely subjective characteristic that, perhaps, sprung out from a common belief that the tried and tested old natural ways are more powerful than any medical science can produce.I came about this soup long before I started this blog. Actually, back when I was a kid, I could still remember having neighbors living next to our house who frequently ate this soup or stew (whichever) to have lots of children. They had 6 offspring and my mother and father once talked about their frequent intake of this highly reproductive substance and the constant squeaking sound of a crudely made house fixture or equipment right across the south-wall of our home, right where their house is situated, every night. I was a kid back t

Effective Ways to Kill a Relationship
1970-01-01 00:59:59
Here in the Philippines, Korea novelas seem to have overtaken most of Filipino viewer's viewing habits, me included. It's as if we are slowly becoming Koreans ourselves especially when it comes to the new generation's basic approach, ideas and philosophies about love. Well, maybe not to all but I can't help but notice some teenagers acting out the piggy back ride, common to most Korean soaps, in an effort to be romantic, perhaps.Anyways, what's it got to do with my topic? It's this; When you are frequent watcher of these programs, even how much you dislike to yet your household members outnumber you when it comes to viewing preference and you got nothing else to do or go to but watch the same program they are watching and you somehow absorb what you are seeing yet your brain and reason tell otherwise, you can't help but notice that the characters, especially the protagonists, tend to run short of ideas in ending their "hell-like" previous relationship to get to their

Balut
1970-01-01 00:59:59
Photos courtesy of: deep end diningI've done my seaches in the internet yesterday about "soup number five" and Filipino aphrodisiacs and by chance, balut always comes out. A balut, basically, is just a boiled duck egg containing an embryo or fetus. Although it takes a lot of guts, for it to be an effective aphrodisiac, you should consume the boiled embryo or fetus inside. Folks believe in the saying "balut ang gamot sa naghihinang tuhod". In english it's "balut, the cure to a shaky knee". The saying should not only be taken for its literal meaning but also for its cultural context as well. The knees do not only represent the actual knees but also the remaining body parts in the lower extremities, most especially the important ones in between and right above it.Filipinos believe it increases stamina and sex drive. There are times when I eat it but I only feel a warm sensation, perhaps, because of the vitamin and mineral content it contains. Its aphrodisiac quality then i

IPAKO SA KRUS!!!
1970-01-01 00:59:59

In Erap's Defense
1970-01-01 00:59:59
What's going on in the Philippines? More and more government officials seem to get more more corrupt and a lot daring in their efforts to steal from their people and protect their "goddamn" interests no matter what the cost. Anyway, I'm beginning to feel as though the former president is innocent from his graft and corruption charges. It feels like the whole thing was just a setup or some kind of a booby trap to steal power from him since he is not cooperating and behaving appropriately with the "powers that be" of the country. I don't have any evidences regarding this, just a thought.

PinoyTopBlogs

I've just joined "PinoyTopBlogs." I'm hoping my blogs will get noticed more by my fellow Filipinos. I'm looking forward to having other pinoy bloggers link to my site. I've made some links today and am still planning to do tomorrow. I'm just wondering if my adsense revenue would start climbing up too. Nahhhhh.... I guess its too early to place my hopes on it. Currently I'm trying to build some sort of wide wide wide connections across the blogging sphere (and that includes every single blogger), primarily, to generate more adsense income. Afterwards (when it seems i've made enough publisizing of my blog), I guess its time for a new blog geared more to advertising and affiliate programs as content. But I really need to find more resources on how to start this whole thing. Hmmm... is it just me or am I really getting too sleepy to watch what I'm writing? Everything's getting fuzzy, light, and some sort of profound all of a sudden. I guess its just saying that its time to end the

what have i finally achieved
1970-01-01 00:59:59
After 2 and a half months of blogging, i would say i'm finally satisfied with the way my blog template looks (see a lot of buttons, these are what i've been aiming for before), just how it looks. I don't have a lot of readers nor bloggers linking to me and my adsense account isn't going anywhere but zero, damn, but i guess those things will follow soon enough. I have publicized my site to "several subscription feeders" and signed up to many blog searchengines and rankings, these i guess will give me a better footing in my blogging life. What i have been writing, hayyyy....well...., its another part of the story. I have been planning for like months on what to publish in my blogs and i've had a lot in my mind but what materializes in my blogs are nothing resembling what im thinking of. I'm too busy searching for buttons, subscriptions, promotions, and a lot of "add-on" stuffs to my template that i'm forgetting to write and publish quality blogs that i've been planning to do befo

Fear of Marriage
1970-01-01 00:59:59
You might think its plain stupid. What's to be afraid of this whole matrimonial thing? You're right but there are people who actually fear marriage. They fear it because they have bad experiences related to it. Maybe it's because of their parents, their beliefs and misconceptions about a wedded life, or perhaps they just really don't want to be married at all. Whatever it is, it would really help if they get rid of that fear and see for themselves that marriage is not something to be feared at all. The number one cause I think why some people fear it is because of divorce. According to studies, the number one cause of most divorce problems is money. Children, mistrust, and irresolvable differences follow. Perhaps, it would help to eliminate one's fear of a married life if he/she begins to accept that not all marriage are perfect and you can always be married again if the first one isn't successful; after all, life is made up of trials and errors. Maybe one day, after severa

Durian
1970-01-01 00:59:59
Durian by Plaid NinjaDurian is a fruit with skin that is thick, rough, and covered with sharp thorns. It is most notorious for its bad odor but delicious taste. Eating some will give you bowel breath for hours. Because of its bad odor, people often times feel disgusted to even taste it. But in case you didn't know, people in Southeast Asia think it's an aphrodisiac. There are times when my father pays a visit to his province down south in Mindanao and when he comes back he'll be bringing in different fruits which at times include Durian. I'm not sure what made people puke about its smell but I don't think it's that nasty. The taste is different from its smell, I've got to say. According to Davaoeňos, the more evil its smell the more delicious and potent its aphrodisiac qualities will be. The first time I ate a couple of handfuls of it, I have to admit that it creates a sort of warm sensation in your stomach, then spreads all throughout your body later on. Perhaps, it's

mobile phones linked to lower sperm count
1970-01-01 00:59:59
Be careful when using your mobile phones, too much of it can make you lessen your sperm count and, perhaps, in the long run, make you impotent. According to a research conducted recently: "Samples taken from men attending a fertility clinic revealed that their sperm declined steadily in number, quality and ability to swim as mobile phone usage increased. Where men used their mobiles for more than four hours a day, researchers found a 30% drop in sperm motility or movement and viability when compared with men who did not use a mobile phone"You've been warned.Tagged as: love, mobile phones, sperm

the ideal man
1970-01-01 00:59:59
Vitruvius ManI've read this article of Askmen.com and I'd say, again, like the others earlier, it's interesting. I've known for a fact that women these days love rock stars and health buffs but here there are several others. Here's the 10 embodiment of an ideal male. Of course, you know that I've inserted several of my thoughts regarding these. The Marlboro manIt's the guy who knows his way around the wilderness and rides his favorite horsey, an outback Jack, or a cowboy perhaps. He is ideal if he is alone most of the time but when there are a whole lot of them laughing together from their wild escapades in the "WILDERNESS"…. Hmmmm smells fishy, talk about "Brokeback Mountain". Girls like them before. Today, with the gay issue surrounding the good ol boys bonding in the wilderness sort of thing, I think not.The ChefOne hot Molto Mario, Ming Chai or Wolfgang Puck. happy low blooded people
1970-01-01 00:59:59
According to a study "-->(click here)", people with lower blood pressure are a lot more positive compared to those with higher ones. Having a positive outlook in life helps lower one's blood pressure and vice versa. According to the researchers there is evidence that positive emotions can help keep a person's chemical and neural responses in balance, and help people handle stress better. Taking anti-hypertension medications to lower one's blood pressure will have significant results but it's only temporary. The most effective option to lower one's blood pressure then is to live a healthy life. Think positive all the time (think of happy thoughts that will make you feel like flying to never never land), do your regular exercise, quit your vices such as alcoholism and smoking, and eat right.Regarding the positive thinking, it does not only give you emotional well-being, it also gives you the advantage of having a lot more "lovable" personality as well.Tagged as: love, happy,

Gay Cartoon Characters
1970-01-01 00:59:59
Homosexuality is on the rise. It's a blast from the past actually, rumors that circulated way back in 2005. It's about the gay cartoon characters that kids watched frequently and, perhaps, the reason to blame why gay population is on the rise according to ultra conservative rightists and Christian vanguards of morality. I have nothing against queers yet it's really interesting to take note that a very masculine dominated era such as the 50s, 60s, and the 70s weren't able to take note of these open and explosive signs of gay cartoons flooding their TV sets. Anyways, here are the cartoon characters which I think are gay in all rights.Spongebob and PatrickEveryone knows they are gay. Imagine having a yellow sponge and a pink starfish always together. What's with the yellow and pink? They have female friends but still it's like there's chemistry between the two of them that keeps them inseparable and the conservative Christian rights view them as promoters of gay-agenda. I co
