I and Schefren 2007-05-18 22:49:00 I have, like many of you, listened to and read Richard Schefrens "Manifesto" and "Startup To Freedom". I have watched his shaky performances. I have read his crisp clear reports. I have listened to and read his presentation about his background and performances over and over again (and been everything from mighty imprest to mighty bored). Even if these presentations feels abit desperate they probably work as they should – to make us listen to what he has to say.
And I do listen to mr Schefren and belive that he really knows what he is talking about. He is talking about everything my brother, Peter Scheffer, have told me over the years and that he also have implemented, in a very successful manner, in his business. He is by now a self made millionaire. I have a more artistic background, so I haven’t payed enough attention until now.

Pillar #1 Company management experience with integrity: 2007-05-18 11:08:52 ➧ You got to make sure that the company management have a long experience
with integrity.
If they do not have this experience they probably don't know how to create a compensation-plan based on reality.
➧ The Policies & Terms of use. Do never overlook this part. It's your contract.
The longer list of terms the more overhead, the longer wish of protecting their rights to take money from you. It's their attorneys that have written your "contract" to protect their company. And if you can't find the terms. Look no further!
Look for on going demands of effort like §. You have to sponsor 1 new lead each month or you will not get your commission. Many programs have built in alot of this kind of rules to keep the money in the company.
Be attentive if it is a public traded company. They will always have the investors demands of higher profits, and will probably change the terms if the investors aren't satisfied.

Pillar #2 Timing in the company and timing in the industry: 2007-05-18 11:05:41 ➧ Never join a startup company
. 99% of them won't make it 2 years. Don't be a guinea pig. They will have too many growing pains and they probably don't even for-fill the Pillar
#1 in many cases. Wait at least 2 years. The top income earners joins after a company is 2 years old.
You also got to pick a company/branch with the right timing and potentials of lasting for many years to come. You have to ask yourself - Will the demand of their products remain? Will they be able to retain a consistency of their product pricing [and not ending up in a over saturated market]. Read more:industry
Pillar #3 A Product that is remarkable: 2007-05-18 10:59:55 The company must be focusing on retailing the product and not on the recruiting.
Ask yourself if you would buy this product (retail-price) if it wasn't a money opportunity connected to it? If your answer is no. Just drop further action with this company.
Simple reason no 1. ➧ If the company is about recruiting it is illegal
Simple reason no 2. ➧ A company with focus on retailing their products, will make your residual income last.
You should aim at the proportions of 1 distributor to 9 users/customers. That will build your future income!
Do your research. Is the retail prices competitive in comparison to similar products in the market. If it isn't, your future users won't have an insentive to buy your product. Remember that they are only using the product and are not in for the opportunity (which they not are supposed to be). Your residual income is totaly hung up on this reality. Read more:Pillar
Pillar #4 A compensation-plan that pays part time people: 2007-05-18 10:20:22 95% of your team will consist of part time workers. There will of course be a problem if a part time working person doesn't get compensated/payed fairly. He or she would then obviously feel forced to quit.
You'll have to do your math. Learn to understand how their compensation-plan works. How many people
do you have to have in your group to achiev $10.000/month? Is it 5500, 300, 2000 representatives? Why would you want to work that much harder for the same income?

A list of all your friends and family members are not a system. Thats your upline wanting to turn you into that pushy sales guy almost everyone disapprove of.
If you've failed in Network Marketing before it's probably not your fault. You do not have to change to be successful in this business. You just hadn't got these 5 pillars. And you probably didn't have this last one either. A real system. A duplicatable Network System with a live mentoring environment. It's essential to have this kind of system that will help people through their learning curve. Without it, you will probably not stand a chance to reach duplication and success in your network marketing business.

Networking take new turns! 2007-05-21 15:23:36 You always have to find new ways to socialize. I don't mean you should always socialize in the name of Network Marketing. You must find your own balance regarding to this. But in the name of business, there is a constantly growing number of networking and socializing sites on the Internet. And you should really try to find which kind that suits you the best.
A new kind of network spaces are Your Meetups and OpenCoffee Club, where you can create or attend meet up groups locally in every conceivable topic. You set your own limit how far you are ready to move to attend a meeting. This is a quite exciting form that hopefully will grow in size of users.
The more established business version of MySpace would be DirectMATCHES and AdlandPro, where you can meet people with the same goals and ambitions.

Would a Mentor Make an Impact on You? 2007-05-30 15:22:49 Is it possible to deny the benefits from a "rightly" matched mentor would give to anyone? If you think you do not need a mentor to succeed, I would say you are in denial. In denial of others experiences and success and the power of the third eye. There will always come times when you're getting blind to your own behavior and actions.
A good mentor can offer you a proven way because he or she is doing it already. A good mentor raises your bar of per-ception to your business. These facts alone are truly powerful.
I will talk a lot more in the future about mentoring. This is just the first kick in all our butts.

Put your self in a stable situation! 2007-06-13 08:07:21 Do whatever it takes to reach stability in your life! You could easy put it like don't let your outgoings out way your incomings. When getting involved with Network Marketing or any other entrepreneurial system, keep your job and use your free time to build your knew base of stability, until you are able to switch or combine them. You shouldn't replace your present day job with a Network Marketing system until you earn like twice or three times as much than you do at your present day job. If you don't have a job. Take whichever employment you find available to get the essential financial stability.
Also try to confront your personal vendettas and deal with any friction with other people in your close environment. It you will give yourself a peaceful and stable mindset.

The absurdity of selling tutorials on selling tutorials and eBooks about Internet Marketing. 2007-06-15 09:09:12 I don't know if I got the title right. It's confusing even to my self.
I have done it and still doing it in some degree. But really, does it make sense? It's a bit like Network Marketing
without the leverage. You just pass the information to the next in line. And the only one's that converts it into a lot of money, is the one's that recycle old marketing technics in a new cover and putting the biggest price tag to it. That of course after building them self a perception to you of being worth the price tag.
Don't let them fool you into this mouse trap with a fake cheese as the award in hand. The fake cheese is the extreme picture and also fact of the enormous amount of people longing for some "money making knowlegde". The fake cheese exist in large numbers also in Network Marketing and Wholesale or rather Drop shipping.

If you treat your lead from the start as a potential mentoree you will start a motion that will continue, mentaly from you and a realtionship that will last longer. If you have "sold" him or her you will not have a natural further relationship of a partnership that [in my view] a mentor and the mentoree can provide.
They probably joined because of you and not the company. Do you think they will stay longer with the company if you build a stronger relationship with them?
