. It was a Woman who had Collected Many,Many Things over a Very long time. She had some really Great things there. I got there 30 min. early and there was a huge line down the Driveway. THE WINDOW! 2007-05-17 22:06:00 About two months ago i was at a Garage Sale and there sat this Very OLD Window. It was out on the peoples lawn away from most of the things. I could see the couple looking at me checking out the Window. Inside i was Screaming with JOY, I knew what i could do with that Window. Anyway i asked how much and the wife said, $1. Cant get any better than that!! I picked it up and she looks back at the husband and tells him I told you so, He said to her earlier who the Hell would ever buy that. Well, there is a Sap in every bunch and that is me for Windows. Where I live these Painted old windows are NOT Cheap!! Brought it home and my Hubby and Kids thought I was Nuts (Nothing New). I painted the glass and frame, sanded it to give it an even more aged look and Verdigised the hardware. My hubby and I hung it from the ceiling in our loft where there is a half wall. I LOVE my Window...Just another example of One Man's Trash is another Mans Treasure.
Inspirations! 2007-05-16 17:24:00 This time of year my main Inspirations are Definately My Gardens! I Absolutely Love Gardening. Here in So. California you do not get much of a yard for your Money. But the seven years we have lived in this house my Gardens have definately Evolved. Now i tend to go with anything I love and I know can take the Heat,Wind and Frost. This Winter we had lots of Frost so I lost many Tropical plants. The ones that survived have actually come back so Beautifully. This is definately the Prettiest time in the Garden. I am trying my hand at Veggies and Herbs too. So far so good. Take a look at some of my Favorites...

near my house that has just the Greatest things. I drop the kids at school and cant wait to get there. The last two weeks I have gotten just the best things. Besides all of the fantastic finds are the people. It is the Greatest mix of Interesting Personalities. Almost everything I have purchased has a Great story behind it. You see many of the same people and they are very happy to tell you there tales! Anyway, I did very well this week and I am posting my Fun Purchases. Most of which will be Enhanced and added onto and put in my store. Enjoy!
DO YOU EVER FEEL LIKE THERE IS NOT ENOUGH TIME IN THE DAY? 2007-05-15 04:29:00 Well, I had one of those days today.... Hurry, Hurry, get as much done as you can. I was doing Web Page things, Finishing necklaces and trying to get all the regular Housework in too. Oh, and my Washer Broke!! I managed to finish three Necklace's and wring out the very wet clothes from the washer! Oh, did i mention Housework, Market, Kids, homework, oh and Walmart too. It just doesn't End in my House. I can still hear my kids outside with all their friends playing getting in that last thirty minutes of daylight. I only wish i could Bottle their Never Ending Energy... Some of my day....

YIPPPPEEE, My Very FIRST Post! 2007-05-13 02:10:00 Hi there, Well this is my first post on my new Blog. I am so Excited! Today was full I was up early to go Garage Sale Shopping. I ended up with a few good things. I got two Silver Platters which i have already painted the center with Chalkboard Paint. I am going to make them Glitze Chalkboards for kitchen, office, bedroom or where ever. I will put them in my Etsy store as soon as i am finished. www.simplymeart.etsy.com . I also Baked and started setting up for tomorrow, Mother's Day. I have both sides of the family coming to celebrate. It is also my Dad's 80th Birthday and my sons too. Here are some pics of what i did.I made my dad a Strawberry ShortCake and I also made a Keylime Pie. The little Tin Pales are for the MOM'S. I also made small flower Arrangements from my garden. I did not have nearly enough of any Yellow flowers that i had Anticipated having but that is Mother Nature for you! Anyway, Please Excuse all the Mistakes , it will take me a while to work out many of the bugs

Weekend ReCap 2007-05-20 22:09:00 Well another Crazy Weekend
. Running and Working and taking care of a Sick Daughter. Yesterday was running my Daughter to Cheer and an Orientation meeting for her New Cheer Squad. It seemed like it went on forever. She is Sick AGAIN with a Cough I'm afraid may be Bronchitis! I worked Making and Making and Creating Until I cant see straight. Thank God for my Ever Wonderful Husband Who picked up all the Slack. On the Bright Side the Weather was Gorgeous. Oh, and Our Neighbor Lori brought my daughter the most Wonderful Goofy Candy from Disneyland. Why is this good you ask? They are delicious and i think I have eaten about 100 of them in the last two days.

Introducing Our Three Stooges... 2007-05-25 00:49:00 The little Beast Waiting at the Back door is Tucker. He is . Yorkie who thinks he is 150lbs. The White very Furry one is Gizmo, he is so Sweet but dont ever try and take any food away from him, because he turns into Cujo. Also has an obsession with Birds,Bunnies,Squirells anything climbing the Hill behind our house.Last but not Least ,our Original dog and the Head of the Dog family Jesse! She is a pound rescue and would definately protect us to the death. They are all Great, just want to kill me somedays just like my kids do. We dont know what we would do without them though. Just wanted to introduce you to some of my Daily Insanity. They have a Ruff life dont they?

ORCHIDS 2007-06-01 01:24:00 One of my Passions are Orchids. I have Loved them for as long as I could remember! About three years ago I started buying them. They would bloom and look wonderful for 4 or 5 weeks. The blooms would die off and I would almost Panic. Ask me why? Not sure I thought they were the most fragile flower. Now I have a Green thumb but for some reason these flowers Scared the Cra* out of me. In the begining I would buy them in Armstrong Nursery. Of course I would pay upwards of $40 for a basic White Phaelenopsis. I really had NO knowledge of the plant just that I Loved them. Well, I let my faire share of beauties die a tragic death, not on purpose just not knowing what to do with them. Three years later and several Orchid shows and No longer buying from Retail shops I now have acquired over 20. Yikes, I cant believe I have so many but I do. I have inherited a few also. Sorry MOM, if you leave them with me for plant sitting I'm gonna keep them. I have since learned lots about the many differn't
FLEA MARKET FINDS THIS WEEK... 2007-05-30 21:55:00 I actually got to hit the Flea Market this week and wouldn't you know it there weren't many Vendors there. Ughhh, I swear with the Sick kid last week and the Holiday weekend my Scavengering for GOODIES has been limited. I did get some fun old postcards and a bit of jewelry. I also got this great old Hershey's Chocolate tin. I mean old as in 1982? LOL, anyway I also got some cute Vintage Tin Signs that I have almost finished with. I am making them little magnet boards. They are very Cute. I have been working like Crazy on Banners lately. I found a bunch of Old Wine Glass Charms I had that needed a New Home. I added them on to the Banners and they actually came out very fun. Everything has a function. Oh, I almost forgot I couldn't stand the MESS I have been working in so this morning for 3 Hours I organized. Much better and I am more relaxed and don't feel like such a Slob anymore. Whats been going on.... 2007-06-04 21:45:00 It seems lately I just cant Stop. Stop thinking , moving, creating, blogging, reading ,jewelry making, garage saling, everything. I feel like my mind is constantly racing and thinking of all kinds of things I want to do. I am making myself and everyone in my family Nuts. I need a Doggy Downer or something. It must be the time of year, it just has me inspired. I guess I should be grateful my brain is still functioning after living in my Crazy house. I just Love when something comes in the Mail other than a Bill or Advertising. My hubby brought it in telling me about the New Mail Man and My eyes just Lit up. Couldn't tell you anything he said about the New Mailman, just couldn't wait to get my hands on that box. for the last several months are the $1 bins at Target. Ok, Ok, I know some of you may be thinking is she Nuts to Blog about this. Well, Yes, I am a bit Crazy but for me that is Normal..LOL. When you first walk into the Target near my house they have these Wonderful bins all full of Great $1 items. The best thing is they change the bins out almost every week too. ( ok can you tell Im in there just a little too much)Of course I just went in there today for two items and left with much more than that. Now, I am sure I am NOT the only person to find such a Silly thing great, but sometimes it is the Odd things that really make your day. I have some photos to share of my Loot. ! Lots of Creating and Family time and of course the Not So Very Fun House Work. The days go by far to fast. I did have a bit of time to check in on some of my favorite Blogs to visit. I was most happy with Saturday's Garage Sales. In my area the garage sales are only allowd the second Saturday of the month so it is a Big Excitment for me. Anyway I could only get through half of them, due to time limitations and I just plain ran out of the green stuff. (money of course) I did meet some fun people though, a neat couple who's mother passed away and left a Very large Collection of Vintage Costume jewelry. Completely up my alley (there is someone for everything, I like to say) Anyway my most Favorite Purchase was a beautiful Glass container which I already used and it is Adorning my Fireplace Mantel. Look At what I made today 2007-06-09 00:05:00 Today my I heard my front gate open and close quickly. The dogs didn't even bark. I knew it was the Mailman dropping off a Package. Couldn't get out the front door fast enough. Guess who it was from? www.littlepinkstudio.etsy.com . I had been waiting for these to come and about jumped out of my skin when I opend the box and found these little "Sweeties". They were even more cute then I remembered. I knew just what I wanted to do with them too. This is what I did. I know it is kinda crazy to get so excited over a Plasic Balerina, but I am a bit Crazy so It all works out. Just wanted share and say a Big Thank you to the Little Pink Studio. They are going to my Etsy shop.
Peace and Tranquility.. 2007-06-08 08:37:00 Yesterday, As Emily and I were Screaming and Hollering at each other for the 10th time this week, I was thinking of "Peace
and Quite." How can I just get some Calm and NO yelling.Then I started thinking about my "Buddah's." About a year and a Half ago I went thru my I need "Feng Shui" in my house to calm us all down. Raising two kids,three dogs and about fifteen Nieghborhood kids running around, anything sounded good at the time. Well, I have several and some Chimes to help Boost the Peace. They HAVEN'T done a thing yet. Can Someone send me some Peace? Raising a Pre-Teen Girl I need more than Buddah's and Feng Shui. Well, instead of Keeling at the Buddah's I poured myself a Big Glass of "Chardonay". That was more Peaceful and seemed to bring me some Tranquility
too. What gives you Peace and Tranquility in this Crazy World we live in?
