Changed the lighting several times and did macro shots of all angles, about 30 photos in all until I got the perfect shot to paint. Therefore, I am never without something to paint.......like these red, red cherries.Many times we are asked for his recipes, so this will be the first.CHERRY CHRISPINGREDIENTS1 can (16 ounces) pitted tart red cherries in juice.1 teaspoon lemon juicered food coloring1/3 cup sugar1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon1 1/2 cups vanilla wafer cookie crumbs1/3 cup melted butterPREPARATION: Drain cherries, reserving 2 tablespoons of the liquid. Mix the cherries with reserved liquid, lemon juice, and a few drops of red food coloring. Pour the fruit mixture into an 8-inch square baking dish. Mix sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over cherries and pat down slightly. Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes. serve warm with whipped topping. serves 4 - 6.Just Read more: Poetic
