2007-05-16 21:05:45
WILLIE Mason says Queensland is using “scare tactics ” on rookie New South Wales halfback Jarrod Mullen - and defiantly predicted it wouldn’t work. The Blues second rower made the comment after Maroons giant Petero Civoniceva warned that 20-year-old Mullen would be confronted with four of the most punishing defenders in the game — Tonie Carroll, Nate Myles, Carl Webb and Neville Costigan — when he makes his debut at Suncorp Stadium next Wednesday. Confusion as players cleared

2007-05-19 07:52:36
GOLD Coast coach John Cartwright says there’s a simple reason why he won’t be pushing the panic button after watching his side stumble to its third straight NRL loss. There’s no button to push. The Titans continued to undo all the good work of their bright start to the season by going down 28-10 to St George-Illawarra at WIN Stadium in Wollongong last night.
