Yesterday I was driving to Fred Meyer, a local store close to my home, and being the astute Real Estate Investor that I have learned to be, out of the corner of my eye I caught a new listing sale for a property. I stopped and grabbed the flyer. Nothing in Real Estate shocks me anymore, because you never know what you may find. The house was this cute little quaint home that looked like a smaller low end home, perfect for a first time home buyer. As I was reading the flyer I discovered that they wanted $399,000 for the Property! This easily should have been in the low $200,00’s. I quickly began to scan the flyer to find the reason why. The property was sitting on a half acre, R2 zoned property allowing for two more homes to be built on the lot while keeping the existing home.

I was recently perusing Zig Zigler’s Blog and I came across a very relevant story that many of us face on a regular basis and I wanted to share this story with you.
Often times when I am at a conference and I am in an important conversation, you know one of those moments that you have been waiting and hoping for all day with someone whom you wanted to connect with and you may never get that opportunity again and inevitably an interrupter will come and steal your thunder or your moment. Being the nice person that I am I let the interrupter speak and I may lose that tidbit of success that they might have imparted or that future deal I could have created in only a flick of a moment.
