CoverFlow 2006-09-12 19:47:20 Last night I went on an Album Art binge. I started looking at all the different ways I could import Album art for my entire iTunes Library. There are a few cool utilities out there that updated my Album Art in iTunes, but most of them failed to find images for some indie rock albums in my collection. Sure, I know some of these are hard to find even on record store shelves. Enter CoverFlow.
Print to PDF 2006-09-11 03:19:42 I travel often and find myself relying on Print
Shops, Staples or OfficeMax for all my printing needs. Usually I just need a PDF of my document so I can email the job to a printer. PDFs are amazingly small files with fantastic graphical results. Even if I have access to a printer at home, I usually print to a PDF just to have a backup of my document. I simply open the PDF in preview and print via my local printer. Printing to a PDF is easy in OS X.

Open With 2006-09-06 15:35:52 Sometimes I install applications and the install associates files with the application that I don't want it to. For instance, one annoying thing with Adobe Creative Suite 2 is when Acrobat associates PDF files with itself. Acrobat is slow loading and has too many buttons for me to effectively navigate through a PDF. Preview is an amazing application for viewing PDFs, on the other hand. OS X makes it easy for me to quickly change what application handles a certain file.
Firewire Target Disk Mode 2006-09-05 17:51:50 In the catastrophic event of a Hard Drive failure or OS X crashes, I boot up my Mac in Target
Disk Mode. If I want to Migrate my data from one Mac to another, I need to use this method. Sometimes I even share files over my firewire cable with friends. If I have an older G3 that does not have a DVD drive, I can use Target Disk Mode to install Tiger OS X 10.4. Read more:Firewire
