Disturbia is Disturbing 2007-05-05 20:39:32 On Wednesday I saw Disturbia and I asked myself, what were they thinking? The movie is so plain stupid that you kinda think who did they make this movie for, teens or people who love frights. I would say, they lost their way while making this one. The movie tried to do too many things in a very short time.

Okie so yeah they did, why create a scene? By doing what Iran is doing, they sound like Pirates who just got a loot or something. I am not on any side on this one, I don’t believe what Bliar (Blair) says and we all know what’s wrong with Ahmadinejad so he doesn’t have credibility.
If that wasn’t enough, the video that Iran released showing that female sailor in scarf was pathetic, I mean seriously… why demean scarves by asking women who have no respect for it to wear them? It’s a piece of cloth for some women and means alot for others and those others are what I am concerned about, not the ones who just put it on because they can’t say NO.

I think I did very good but my very good is not very good in everyone elses’ dictionary so that remains to be seen. Oh yeah, the topic was about tipping. Bye Bye Spam 2007-05-08 17:24:27 If you use wordpress and you blog (duh, that’s why you are using wordpress) then you are aware of the issues with comment spam. I used to see 50-60 comments everyday and not one would be a legit one. I tried captcha but with this current theme and script, it didn’t really seem to do the work.
I installed Spam Karma 2 and I am glad I did that. No more spam now, literally, there is nothing anymore.
I also like this automatic draft feature of this new WordPress version. It really helps when you just keep on writing and forget to save your post, incase your system crashes, you are in good hands.

Looking for a Nice WP Theme for PoetryKafe 2007-05-08 00:50:56 I think PoetryKafe really deserves a new WP theme. Something that really makes it fun to read poetry and also reflects the current design trends of Web 2.0. I have looked all over the internet (or so I think) but have been unable to find something that can be easily modified and turned into a nice poetry blog theme.
My problem is, I am going to stick to the same colors for PoetryKafe. I am not yet tired of the colors. So any theme that I plan to implement should be flexible with 2 colors, make that 3 including purple which is HEX 660066.

Spider Man 3 was Just OK 2007-05-11 02:18:08 I watched Spider
Man 3 on wednesday and for some reason felt that Spider Man
2 was better than Spider Man 3. When I watched Spider Man 2, I thought the first one was better.
I guess that is the thing with sequels, they make more money but don’t make a mark on peoples’ expectations.
A friend of mine said its VERY GOOD, I would say it was just OK. He was HIGH by the way during the movie, I should have done the same thing
One thing I would like to mention here is that SAM RAIMI (director) did a wonderful job. The visuals, CG and everything computer generated was done with perfection. SAM RAIMI is known for being ahead of time with what he does, I guess we all remember how he changed the Horror genre with Evil Dead.
