Diroxy - Proxy Web Directory

Diroxy is my newest website. I can’t really say it’s my own because the script is from PhpLD and the template is from Emillie. At the moment it has few popular categories like PHProxy , CGI Proxy, Zelune Proxy, Articles, Software, Lists and Top Sites. I might just stick with these or maybe add more in future as I see the need. I recently started a bunch of proxies and was looking into starting a topsites to compliment the proxy because it helps to generate traffic. Then I thought about it and looked online only to find that there are not that many good proxy directories so decided to start one. Less competition means more exposure for the little guys, like me So what exactly is Proxy? My Islam ic history professor Dr. Behrooz emailed the class the link to this documentary. It’s a very good perspective on the practice of Hijab and how it is perceived around the muslim world. Watch it, you might like it! The funny part is of that medical student in pakistan who went there from America, thats a common practice for American Pakistanis who want to become doctor, they chose Pakistan over Caribbean… makes me so proud, I can’t even tell you P.S. Disturbia is Disturbing

On Wednesday I saw Disturbia and I asked myself, what were they thinking? The movie is so plain stupid that you kinda think who did they make this movie for, teens or people who love frights. I would say, they lost their way while making this one. The movie tried to do too many things in a very short time. Avoid it if you can, if you already saw it, lol… I am sorry for you !

As you all know lately Iran has been holding 15 British sailors as some kind of hostages and keeps insisting that they trespassed so Britian . “Instead of apologizing over trespassing by British forces, the world arrogant powers issue statements and deliver speeches,” Ahmadinejad Okie so yeah they did, why create a scene? By doing what Iran is doing, they sound like Pirates who just got a loot or something. I am not on any side on this one, I don’t believe what Bliar (Blair) says and we all know what’s wrong with Ahmadinejad so he doesn’t have credibility. If that wasn’t enough, the video that Iran released showing that female sailor in scarf was pathetic, I mean seriously… why demean scarves by asking women who have no respect for it to wear them? Most of you thought that I am dead or something, no, not really… you could care less I was absent, I basically DUMPED all my websites and was wasting all my energy on my new gig which I am not going to declare… maybe not right now I also gave the weirdest JEPET essay exam that will decide if I need to take another english class before I graduate. I think I did very good but my very good is not very good in everyone elses’ dictionary so that remains to be seen. Oh yeah, the topic was about tipping. To Tip or not to Tip, charge a flat service charge or let the customers decide what they would like to tip. I was on the customer’s side on this one…. Things in personal life have been pretty shaky, ups and downs, highs and lows…. but life goes on because there is something I am really looking forward to this summer. It’s a big one…. real BIG.

If you use wordpress and you blog (duh, that’s why you are using wordpress) then you are aware of the issues with comment spam. I used to see 50-60 comments everyday and not one would be a legit one. I tried captcha but with this current theme and script, it didn’t really seem to do the work. I installed Spam Karma 2 and I am glad I did that. No more spam now, literally, there is nothing anymore. I also like this automatic draft feature of this new WordPress version. It really helps when you just keep on writing and forget to save your post, incase your system crashes, you are in good hands. I am still looking for a nice wordpress theme for PoetryKafe, can you help ?

Looking for a Nice WP Theme for PoetryKafe

I think PoetryKafe really deserves a new WP theme. Something that really makes it fun to read poetry and also reflects the current design trends of Web 2.0. I have looked all over the internet (or so I think) but have been unable to find something that can be easily modified and turned into a nice poetry blog theme. My problem is, I am going to stick to the same colors for PoetryKafe. I am not yet tired of the colors. So any theme that I plan to implement should be flexible with 2 colors, make that 3 including purple which is HEX 660066. Help me out people, I will be sharing wp themes that I really like from now on so that YOU don’t have to be ME some day

Spider Man 3 was Just OK

I watched Spider Man 3 on wednesday and for some reason felt that Spider Man 2 was better than Spider Man 3. When I watched Spider Man 2, I thought the first one was better. I guess that is the thing with sequels, they make more money but don’t make a mark on peoples’ expectations. A friend of mine said its VERY GOOD, I would say it was just OK. He was HIGH by the way during the movie, I should have done the same thing One thing I would like to mention here is that SAM RAIMI (director) did a wonderful job. The visuals, CG and everything computer generated was done with perfection. SAM RAIMI is known for being ahead of time with what he does, I guess we all remember how he changed the Horror genre with Evil Dead.
