OBITUARY : Dirk Brink South African architect Dirk Brink died on Friday, 20 April, in Krugersdorp. Brink retired from professional practice 16 years ago to build a nature reserve from scratch. Today, the Krugersdorp Game Reserve boasts a luxury resort, lion enclosure, numerous species of wildlife and a world renown aviary. He was a well respected member of the Wildlife Community in South Africa and a well loved role model. Brink is survived by his wife, Elna, and two children Derek, 26, and Lizelle, 29. read more
