Really Cool Art. 2008-03-28 14:12:20 Really Cool Art.This was once one of the most unseen block of houses in Rotterdam, which later became Rotterdam's most photographed one. The transformation was brought by applying a layer of only 2 micron of blue paint onto it. Here we have 'Yellow Street' from Overschiestraat in Schiedam, The Netherlands."Urban river" is piece of public art work in Drachten, The Netherlands by artist Henk Hofstra. The Blue Road installation features 1000 meters long & 8 meters wide of road painted blue with the phrase "Water is Life" written in eight-meter-high letters across it. All you need is about 240 liters of soil to fill in the frame & plant grass seeds & water slightly. And after few days the grass starts to grow. Once the grass reaches 10cm, all you need do is trim it, & you've got a really impressive Grass armchair.Here we have one which is created by shaping the tress & this amazing furniture is created by Nirandr Boonnetr, who started shaping trees about 1983.
