This recently filed patent seems to address the issue of bukly PDAs by providing a detachable cell phone
. Based on the picture, the main PDA unit will look similar to a Palm Treo. But when a large screen and qwerty is not needed, flip the phone over and remove its smaller counterpart. When the two are attached together as one synergistic package, they can synchronize with one another. When apart, they can presumably act independently with the PDA handling the scheduling and the cell phone doing the voice calls and basic text messages. reached an agreement today to acquire DoubleClick, the online advertising company, from two private equity firms for $3.1 billion in cash (Money ain’t a thing to Google), the companies announced, an amount that is nearly double Google paid for Youtube last year.
DoubleClick, founded in 96′, provides display ads on Web sites like MySpace, The Wall Street Journal and America Online as well as software to help those sites maximize ad revenue.
