Yippee Kayay says Cousin Carl. The Streak To The Finish from the Dickies 500 at Texas 2008-11-03 14:16:59 What everyone thought would be a clinching of the Championship for Jimmie Johnson turned south. Johnson was saying prior to the race that their car was really good and fast and that they were not going to hold back, well as luck would have it, the #48 team struggled with an ill handling car all day and just could not get it done. Jack Roush has to be buying some new hats especially when his teams Read more:Finish

Dare to Compare? 2008-10-23 13:04:42 There is a lot of buzz going around about Cale Yarborough's record of 3 straight championships is in jeopardy by Jimmie Johnson. Is it fair to compare these two drivers? To me it is simply night and day. Back when Cale won his 3rd championship, which was in 1978, driving was a whole different ballgame. The cars these drivers drove were not all alike and the technology was not there, it was what y Read more:Compare
Racing and Insurance Off-Track or On 2008-10-22 14:00:43 When it comes to car racing, there are two kinds of people: spectators and participants. Aside from a love of fast cars and precision driving, both groups have one more trait in common: they need insurance. For the SpectatorAuto insurance for race spectators is nothing extra – your normal policy will take care of you whether you're on the road to the track or on the road to the grocery store, and Read more:Racing

Always Moving Forward 2008-09-20 17:15:09 Yes, you have to remember to always move forward in your life despite what has happened in the past. The past is the past and there is nothing you can do to change that and we all have to live with our decisions. Can anyone out there really say they have never made a mistake in their lives? I have made my fair share but I have learned to deal with those and move on with my life. It is too much ene Read more:Forward

Am I alone when I say this but wasn't it nice to see someone else win a race, especially one of the drivers that has not been talked about all that much during the regular season and now into the Chase? Biffle has been flying under the radar this season and was like a submarine getting into the c Read more:Finish

A call comes in that evening saying that the boat had a material issue (in oth

Streak To The Finish...The Lenox Industrial Tools 301 2008-07-01 10:58:42 I would like to pass on congratulations to Kurt "The Rain Man" Busch but I just hate seeing races end like that and especially with condition of his car, looks like the left rear shock assembly was about to drop off of the car but it is what it is and it is a win in the record books for Kurt, as Tony Stewart said, "That's racing man." A recap from the race. Don't be afraid to chime in on your Read more:Finish

Gas Prices + Economy = Missing Races 2008-06-27 11:44:34 Is anyone else out there enjoying the rising gas prices? I live in Connecticut and we are ranked as the 2nd highest for gas prices. An average gallon of unleaded is around $4.28 here. It is unbelievable that the prices are this high. It has made me rethink on how I do things in regards to traveling. I usually go up to Loudon for at least one of the races but this year I am having to cancel, it is Read more:Gas Prices

Streak To The Finish...Toyota/Save Mart 350 2008-06-23 11:41:56 Who would of thought that Kyle Busch would be winning this race. The way everyone has been talking about him and his lack of performance really put a fire in his belly and he was out to prove everyone wrong and he did it impressively. Once Kyle got out front, there was no looking back. There were a few times that drivers had a chance at him, especially Jamie McMurray and David Gilliland but the # Read more:Finish

Hmmm, that makes for an interesting thought to see a road course race in New York City, do you think people would line the streets to see that? Probably not.Anyhow back to the race this weekend.

What is Santa going to bring you for Christmas? 2007-12-11 12:25:09 That is the question. It seems to get harder and harder each year to decide on what to ask for. What makes it even more difficult is that my birthday is also on Christmas

Dear Fellow Bloggers...Need Your Help 2008-11-21 11:03:49 Good afternoon to all my fellow bloggers out there. I am in a dilemma and would really value your thoughts and opinions on the following subject. As a parent, do you feel it is right to let your teenage son/daughter have their girlfriend/boyfriend over to the house while there is not a parent present? I might sound old fashioned here but I really do not agree with the whole situation. Unfortunatel
Looking into the Crystal Ball... 2008-11-18 21:50:30 Can anyone predict what is in store for the world of NASCAR in the coming years. Better yet, what will the 2009 Season hold in store for us? Heck, our country has been in a recession now for 14 months and it is no surprise that NASCAR is feeling the pain. You can read all these stories Read more:Crystal
Happy Veterans Day 2008-11-11 09:32:30 Many Americans mistakenly believe that Veterans
Day is the day America sets aside to honor American military personnel who died in battle or as a result of wounds sustained from combat. That's not quite true. Memorial Day is the day set aside to honor America's war dead.Veterans Day, on the other hand, honors ALL American veterans, both living and dead.
