goodbye, identical haircuts

My husband and I went to my ob-gyne yesterday to have my bi-monthly check up and to undergo biophysical scoring / ultrasound. Everything seemed fine, the baby is within the average size and the amount of amniotic fluid is ok. Then we asked what my baby’s gender was.My baby wasn’t in the mood for some peeping yesterday. It was facing me, his back towards the doctor. We tried to shake my belly a

Ahhhh. I feel like a piece of log. So this must be the infamous 3rd trimester of pregnancy. They say that every pregnancy is unique......my first trimester was a sleeping frenzy. I have often woken up just in time before I fall off my chair while working.…my second trimester was fabulous. I had this opportunity to play the role of a domesticated wife after work and during weekends: grocery shoppi

un-blogging, re-blogging
2008-11-03 10:21:30
I never imagined that I would be blogging again.I started blogging in 2001, and it lasted throughout college until the first few months of my first job (c. 2005). Things got a little complicated back then, so I decided to put this stress relieving/inducing (you choose) activity off indefinitely.Back then I had a boyfriend of 3 years and was very idealistic about the career that I was about to buil

Arrrhg. It's a really slow morning. I know its bad to blog during office hours, but I'm doing this to ward off sleep.I have realized that now's not probably not the best time to contemplate about my career's future. I am going through a lot of changes physically & emotionally and the only clear picture that I have of what's coming ahead is a cute little baby in my arms. I mean, I do not know h

Ughh. I can't keep my eyelids up! Been fantasizing about resting on the bed all day long. To be perfectly honest, I would like to quit my job after giving birth to look after my baby and pursue my dream of becoming an entrepreneur. I mean, I like my job and I'm so blessed for having an uber nice boss, but I would like to able to have a more flexible schedule to watch my child grow. But come to thi

shopping for the baby
2008-11-16 02:40:39
Hello!?!? I’m 31 weeks pregnant and I still haven’t done any baby shopping! Am I being negligent? As if I have the energy to go to the mall and buy baby stuff. I don’t even have a list of the things that we’ll be needing! Oh gosh, I am so lost! The only baby thing that I have in mind right now is a baby sling (which I wouldn’t be needing until my baby is at least a couple of months old).

Thai Insurance - My Girl

Just want to share a thai TVC that I found on youtube. Might be too sappy for some but I say it's very arresting.I've watched this video numerous times already in the past few months but I still have the same freaking reaction!!! My husband even kids me about crying too much over a video. Hehehe. What the heck, I'm pregnant and I say I can cry all I want! * Title: "My Girl" * Agency: Ogilvy

Ranch Style Pork Chops

Yay! Feeling like wonder woman today!I could not believe that my pelvic area didn’t hurt the whole day (as it always had since I entered the 3rd trimester). Why, I was even able to cook when I got home from work tonight!I’m no expert in cooking. I’m like a toddler on the floor trying to grab the edge of the sofa so I can help myself stand up. I’ve done several dishes in these first few mon
