Well obviously no one knows that more than the anonymous bidder who purchased the black Givenchy dress at the recent auction held at Christie’s in London, which Audrey Hepburn wore in the opening scene of Breakfast at Tiffany’s. The dress was expected to fetch over $167,000 but in fact was purchased for over $1,110,000. If you are not familiar with the dress then you can see the opening of the movie here.
This is not the first time a dress worn by Audrey has received such attention. In December 2006, the elegant black cocktail dress famously worn by Audrey Hepburn in the same movie sold for over $978,000, more than six times the original estimate of the item.

Gooey Chocolate Pud 2007-06-12 08:34:03 Here is a gorgeous, oozy boozy chocolate pudding to warm you up for winter.
Gooey Chocolate
Pud
1 tsp butter
150g dark, bitter chocolate
1/2 tsp vanilla essence
1 tbsp brandy, rum or whisky
85g caster sugar
4 large free range eggs, separated
1 tbsp plain flour, sifted
Heat the oven to 190 degrees celsius. Butter four 150ml heatproof souffle dishes and place on baking tray. Chop the chocolate rough and melt in a heatproof bowl set over a pot of gently simmering water. Remove from the heat, stir well and allow to cool slightly.
Beat in the vanilla essence, brandy and sugar. Beat in the egg yolks, one by one, and then the flour. The mixture will be fairly stiff.
Whisk or beat the egg whites until stiff and peaky, then gently fold them into the chocolate mixture. Pour into the dishes and bake for 10-12 minutes until puffed and well risen. The puddings should still be gooey inside.

;the list is endless. The cool weather doesn’t exactly give us much incentive to make us want to get out there and sweat our way to good health and fitness.
But that is all it is when it comes down to it - an excuse. Unless you want to create bad habits once spring sets in with yo-yo dieting and a tough exercise regime to shed the winter kilos - it is best to maintain your exercise program even if you have to amend it slightly to take advantage of the weather.
If you are space limited and don’t have room for a heavy high impact aerobic workout or just can’t force yourself to get out of bed, switch to an activity you can do indoors. Even something as simple as yoga a few times a week will maintain your fitness

But for those who may be on a tighter budget, it is wise to write a list of things you want to buy or are searching for and try to stick to it. Allow for a small amount of flexibility in case you do see this season’s must have item for 80% off, but otherwise remember a sale only benefits you if you had an original intention to purchase the item.
If you have a budget and it will hurt if you dig deeper then leave the credit card at home. This will ensure you don’t make any rash purchases which you can’t really afford.
