And the grasshopper grows.... 2007-05-03 02:35:00 Although I have to say I normally feel like throwing the nearest heavy object at the TV when it comes to the writing on GH recently, I do LOVE how they are allowing Spinelli's character to grow. In the past, if Jason had yelled at him in the way he did today - "DELETE IT!" - Spinelli would have been majorly traumatized and made a hasty exit. Today, he was obviously hurt but stood his ground. "Consider it deleted." This shows a major turning point for Spinelli, definitely in his relationship with Jason and hopefully with others as well. He is learning that not every moment of anger or outburst of emotion should be taken personally.Spinelli seemed to feel the moment as well, allowing him to muster up the courage to confront Scott. I think he realized he may have pushed his limits a bit, but he's come a long way from the scared rabbit he was six months ago, and he knows it.But leaving the bag of chips for Jason - "they help" - showed us that no matter how much the grasshopper lear

I am BACK: A personal soap marathon. 2007-05-06 16:41:00 Not that I am sure anyone noticed because Rene' did an amazing job keeping the site up to day. Three Cheers for Rene' (I love when Rene' posts in general too)I returned yesterday from a 5 day trip with my family. So I had 4 episodes of General Hospital waiting for me. Sonny scenes FF (fast forwarded)Jax & Carly scenes FF (boy did they look tan)Lulu & Logan scenes FFand a few other random scenes here and there I am a little sad that there is so much of GH I can FF through. There was a scene where Spinelli ran out of the coffee shop to approach Scott and it seemed out of place and didn't work for me. Jason's True Friend Part 2 2007-05-09 20:08:00 I couldn't come up with a better title for my blog than Penny had already done. As usual, I'm a day late and a dollar short on watching GH, but wow, was it worth it. The interaction with Jason
and Spinelli yesterday was just incredible, made more so, in fact, by the incredible acting of Steve Burton. I absolutely loved how his demeanor changed when Spinelli arrived. It was subtle (again, Steve played this to the nines), but he opened up in a way to Spinelli that he does with NO ONE else, including Sonny. You could feel a trust there that he just doesn't have with any other person in his life. Jason always feels a little - guarded. There was none of that when he spoke to Spinelli about everything he had been through in the past few hours.Even though Sonny has children and might have been able to relate to Jason's feelings as a new father better than this "kid," it's obvious that he feels Spinelli understands him better than any relationship he has - even with Sam.Bradford's

Perhaps out of jealousy or simply they just don't get him. That is really the way of online groups. Dear Spinelli Bashers,I am sorry your don't have the same love I do for Damian Spinelli. In the end of the day I believe this is your loss.If you can't delight in Bradford Anderson's great talents then you know what I can accept that. I don't really care if your upset he is on too much. . He not just a mindless Jason worshiper. He not only completely supportive of Jason but also went against the blond ones wishes. Since the moment he has found out about the baby he has supported Jason in his right to parent his own child and more so the child's right to know his father. It is from this storyline we have received the information that the Jackal has some parent issues. He may not agree with Jason's wanting to pretend he is not the father but he supports him. He also though is will to tell him that he feels differently.It is scenes like theses that Damien becomes more then just an joke and more of a full fleshed out character. (Oops, sorry, Penny - did I break the "bash" rule? :D)I just adored how Spinelli reached out to Lulu in about a thousand different ways but only ever touching her once or twice. You could tell he wanted to comfort her but just wasn't sure if he should hold her, put his hand on her shoulder, hug her....but he comforted her with his words. I love that the writers are showing that Spinelli has a great depth of love and intelligence and is not just the "pot head computer geek" they insinuated him to be when he was first brought on the show. It was almost a bust.... then we had music 2007-05-10 22:22:00 The episode was starting out as another repeat of yesterday. Then in the last few moments came...Spinelli was playing Jr baby stalker. It really could have been anyone on the show playing the 'role' They really should give Bradford better material. snooze fest.Then Spinelli and Lulu had their moment. There was even music. It was wonderful and sweet. Both Lulu and Spinelli showed why I feel they are so good for each other. Even with Spinelli completely disagreeing with her the angry one didn't yell at him this time but listened. Spinelli comforted Lulu over her fear of the baby and her feelings over her past abortion. It was just very special. What a site it was when Lulu was holding that baby. My Damian: The plot device & champion of the child. 2007-05-10 03:40:00 I noticed a few things today. Today he was writen as the Anti-Lulu. His option was completely opposite of Lulu's. If she said black he said white. There was no gray on ether side. Honestly from someone looking it is a little annoying LOL. It is like Spinelli and Lulu are a little angel & an devil on Jason's shoulders telling him what to do. (Spinelli is worth more then a plot device) The positive being is he is not afraid to decent from Lulu's option. Which is a good thing. Oh and Spinelli was adorable even with a dash of stalkerness the writers had to throw in today.As an Elizabeth fan my patience with this storyline has been tested well before the Jackal got involved. The only postive thing for me is that it has been a catalyst for us to learn more about Spinelli. Something happened to him that made his option so strong on this subject. Adorable...But a Waste of Talent 2007-05-16 21:14:00 Anytime Bradford/Spinelli hits the screen, it's a beautiful thing. But yesterday, it was a waste of talent. I mean, W-to-the-T-to-the-F? (Sorry, comes with having a teenager in the house).Is this what we get from now on until Spinelli hits Night Shift? "Spinelli reporting live to anyone who will listen on 'The Little Stone Cold One'?" PUHLEZE! His whole presence yesterday was nothing more than a means to an end (another slap in the face for Sam as she comes to realize that half the town knew about this baby and wondering to herself if her new show should be called "Everyday Morons.")
