Reset the Root Password of MySQL Server…..handy stuff!!! 2007-04-03 19:42:40 PROBLEM : By default, MySQL
Server will be installed with root superuser without any password. You can connect to MySQL server as root without requiring password or by keying in blank password. However, if you have set the password for root and forget or unable to recall the password, then you will need to reset the root password for MySQL.
SOLUTION:
To reset password for root, detail steps are as below:
The procedure under Windows:
Log on to the Windows system where MySQL is running as Administrator.
Stop the MySQL server if it is running. For a server that is running as a Windows service, go to the Services manager:Start Menu -> Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> ServicesThen find the MySQL service in the list, and stop it.If your server is not running as a service, you may need to use the Task Manager to force it to stop.

Like to hide your folders…huh..? TRY THIS!!!!!!!! 2007-03-28 19:25:01 Hey frnz out there …We all keep some secret data.(some or the other kind ).
I came across a gimmick that helped me for the above-said motive. It is to create an invisible folder in windows xp .In actual, the folder will not be hidden but will be invisible to eyes as it’ll be same as background & it’s icon is like that.
Steps to create it are :-
1)Right Click on the desktopand make a new folder.
2)Now rename the folder to a unnamed one (to do this u have to hold ALT key and type 0160 or hold on Alt key and type 255(numlock should be on & use numpads ) ).
3)Now u have a folder with out a name.
4)Right click on the folder>properties>customize. Click on change icon.
5)Scroll a bit, u should find some empty spaces,(empty or blank iconimage) Click on any one of them. Press ok.

Panel which allows you to add an image to a panel and then add components normally to the panel. The goal is to avoid extending every component to draw an image. It does this by setting any component to non-opaque as it is added to the panel. That way the background image shows through.
