New Hampshire House Passes A Bigoted Civil Unions Bill
2007-04-06 01:45:41
The New Hampshire house has passed a civil unions bill. This bill is bigoted and writes discrimination into law, to use the liberal’s terms. You must be wondering how a bill that allows homosexuals the same rights as married couples can be discriminatory. I’ll explain, this bill has language in it that bans civil unions, as current marriage laws do, between uncles and nephews, aunts and nieces and first cousins. What gives them the right to stop these people from the rights other hetero and homosexual couples enjoy? I thought these incestuous practices were banned because of possible birth defects in the offspring of such relationships. If this is true, than why can’t homosexuals marry family members? There are no biological birth defects to worry about. Could it be that they are afraid it will lead to legalizing hetero sexual incest marriages? If that’s the case, who are we to say that’s wrong? They are only loving couples who happen to be related. And t

Nancy Pelosi Lies To Syria, Angers Israel
2007-04-06 01:04:48
Nancy Pelosi went to a terrorist state, and enemy of the United States, and did what Democrats do best. She made promises she can’t, and has no intentions to, keep. She told Syria that Israel was ready to negotiate peace. The only problem is, it was a lie. She either did this intentionally to try and embarrass the president, or she is just foolish and naive. Either way she made a huge blunder this week, and her mistakes just keep piling up. What she did manage to do was anger our biggest ally in the middle east, Israel. You can read an opinion piece about this here, or you can read about all of her missteps here.

Al Gore Challenged To Global Warming Debate
2007-04-06 00:43:20
Here are two excerpts from this article.  Gore has not accepted Monckton’s challenge to debate and is unlikely to do so. “He says the debate is over,” Van Winkle said of Gore, “and we don’t necessarily feel the public has ever really been given the debate. His interest [in accepting the challenge] would be … giving the public the serious and measured discussion that they need to make a good decision about public policy.” Al Gore has been challenged to debate man-made global warming. He will never do this, I wish he would because I think it would be a great debate. The problem is he doesn’t want to take the chance that he will be proven a fraud. He has declared that global warming is a scientific fact, even though the articles that we readoften say global warming has a scientific consensus. If scientists only have a consensus, then it isn’t a proven scientific fact. After losing his presidential bid he needed something to fill th

Jimmy Carter Endorses Nancy Pelosi’s Visit To Syria
2007-04-05 05:09:10
I feel much better now that I know Jimmy Carter endorses Nancy Pelosi ’s trip to one of our enemies. Just knowing that one of the worst presidents in US history is on her side, I know I am on the right side of this issue. Jimmy Carter is the last person in this country who should talk about foreign policy. Bill Clinton is next, after giving away our nuclear secrets. Of course Democrats have a long history of coddling dictators. They envy the power that dictators are able to maintain over their people. Democrats are socialists at heart and that is only one step away from communism.

Politically Correct Mock Terrorism Drills Being Conducted In Our Schools
2007-04-05 01:32:54
This is a piece written by Michelle Malken. In it she describes how some schools are holding mock terrorism drills. Sounds like a good idea, doesn’t it? We can gauge our preparedness for such an event. The only problem is that political correctness has crept into them. Instead of radical Muslims they are using wacko homeschoolers, and radical right wing Christian Republicans. What is wrong in this country when you can’t call the terrorists what they are? I don’t know if this is being done for PC reasons,or if it is just another attack on Christianity. Christianity is the only religion that it is okay to attack. Look what this type of appeasement has led to in Europe. A judge in Belgium ruled a Muslim man could beat his wife because it was in the Koran. This is sharia law, and it is now legally practiced in a non Muslim country. England cannot fly her flag at Heathro airport, or over prisons so they won’t offend Muslims. England is starting the process of elimi

The Media And Impending Doom
2007-04-05 00:57:35
Here is an interesting article that discusses how the media promote one crisis after another in an attempt to make the people fearful. From the bird flu, to global warming these impending disasters are predicted but never come true. Even last year we were told it would be the biggest hurricane seasons ever. It was one of the weakest. They always seem to be wrong with their fear-mongering, yet they continue to predict one disaster or epidemic after another. If it bleeds, it leads is the age old expression, but now it seems to be if it might bleed, it leads. Is this a ploy for ratings? Is it an attempt to keep the American people in fear? I don’t know, but I found some of the facts in the article interesting.

Sen Dianne Feinstein Denies Being Caught In The Culture Of Corruption
2007-04-04 12:00:17
As you can see here,Sen.Dianne Feinstein is denying any wrongdoing in her role on the senate subcommittee on military construction appropriation. Now, shouldn’t the Democrats follow the precedent they are setting with Alberto Gonzalez? They admitted no wrong was committed by the firing of the attorneys, but want to hold hearings anyway, just to try and nail someone on a perjury charge. So, even if Sen. Feinstein has committed no wrongdoing, she needs to be investigated. To read the back-story see here, and here.

Democrats Trying To Ban The Term War On Terror
2007-04-04 05:28:15
As first reported on gopbloggers, the Democrats are trying to do away with the term war on terror. Unbelievable,I’m not even going to justify this with any commentary, you can read about it here.

Democrats New Budget Will Hurt The Middle Class
2007-04-04 02:08:12
If you think the Democrats represent the middle class think again. You might want to read this. The Democrats manage to make people believe they are for working families, but is is simply not true. They are the party of entitlements. While you and your spouse go to work every day and work hard to support your family, the Democrats are giving many capable people a free ride. If you have a job, you are rich, that’s how they feel. They are going to take your money and give it away to people who could work if only the government didn’t pay them so well to stay home. Here comes the largest tax hike in history, and it hits middle America pretty damned hard.

Mitt Romney: Amend The Constitution To Ban Gay Marriage
2007-04-04 01:47:30
There is an article here about Romney .htm">Mitt Romney calling for a constitutional amendment to ban gay marriage. Here is a little back-story about how gay marriage was forced on the Mass. residents. Most Americans know that Massachusetts is the only state that allows gay marriage. And they probably also know that Mitt Romney was governor when gay marriage was legalised. What I’m not sure many people know around the country is how this came to pass. This was not a bill that passed through the state house and senate, then on to Romney’s desk for a signature. This was a case of liberal, activist judges instituting their own personal policy preferences onto the citizens of Massachusetts, where they had no right to do so. They forced Mass. residents to accept something that polls show a vast majority of residents don’t want. A citizen’s group gathered up more than enough signatures to have this issue go to the citizens for a vote in 2008 on this issue and have the constitution

New Hampshire, The Taxman Cometh
2007-04-07 13:21:07
I have previously posted about the coming taxes to New Hampshire  here, here, and here. Below are to letters to the Rockingham News, a weekly local paper available to the Sanborn school district. This is the first time I remember seeing anything negative about Gov. John Lynch. In the interest of full disclosure, the second letter is by a Republican state rep., but what he says is right on the money. I hope New Hampshire remembers what is happening now and shows up at the next election to do the right thing. Governor making N.H. Taxachusetts North To the Editor: So, Gov. Lynch, who has stated over and over again that he would not raise taxes and took the No Tax Pledge, has once again submitted a budget laden with all types of hidden taxes under the guise of a balanced budget. He is once again hurting the economy of the state by raising the cigarette tax 28 cents a pack. With the gas prices once again on the rise, people are not going to drive to New Hampshire to save a few cents on cig

Rep. Paul Hodes(D-NH) Faces Intense Heat From New Hampshire Military Families At Meeting
2007-04-07 12:51:38
Rep. Paul Hodes faced a group of angry military families for his vote on the Iraq war surrender bill. I guess I have to give him credit for going to this meeting knowing he voted to undercut their family members and put them more in harm’s way. That takes guts. It didn’t go well for Rep. Hodes though as you can read here. In a way I can’t blame him for his vote, that’s what the people in district 2 in New Hampshire sent him there to do. I hope all you Republicans who stayed home this time around in protest are happy today. Both our new congresspeople have covered themselves in shame.

Gov. John Lynch, New Hampshire Wants To Know Where You Stand!
2007-04-07 01:55:19
Here is another article about how Gov. Lynch won’t take a stand on a tough issue. I have written a post about this issue here ,and followed it up with this opinion piece that backs me up. This is just another example of the governor trying to protect his precious approval rating by not taking a stand on any issue that doesn’t have a wide consensus of approval. He gives us typical Democrat feel good talking points, but with no stance on anything what good is that.

Nancy Pelosi Committed A felony By Traveling To Syria
2007-04-06 23:25:04
It appears as though Nancy Pelosi may have committed a felony by heading to Syria . The Logan act makes it a felony for anyone to travel to a foreign country and conduct foreign policy without authority of the president. I doubt very much the president would ever take action on this, and I suppose I don’t blame him, but I almost wish he would. The fact that you won’t see this covered in the media is a clear indictment on the media.

Democrats Delay Alberto Gonzales’ Testimony In Hearing About The Fired Attorneys
2007-04-06 12:04:02
The Democrats have delayed Alberto Gonzales ’ testimony in the made up controversy that is the US attorney firings. The white house had wanted to move the hearings up to get them over with. The Democrats denied that request. The white house knows he did nothing wrong, so they want to put it in the past and get on with business. Now they have delayed the original date. The reason I believe they did this was to drag out the trumped up controversy. They know no wrong act was committed here, they have even admitted it. But they know that Americans who don’t pay close attention to politics will be listening and they hope to make them believe criminal activity took place here. The longer they can drag this out, the more they believe it hurts the president, and that’s the true goal. The Democrats are in no hurry to show the country nothing wrong happened here, they are just interested in making the administration look bad.

The Democrat’s Surge
2007-04-06 04:00:57
This is a very good article about the Democrat s possibly hanging themselves out to dry with their anti-Iraq war policy. The funny thing here is that the Democrats voted for Gen. David Petraeus to be the new head in the Iraq war knowing full well he supported the surge. If they didn’t agree with him they should have voted against him. This leads to the question, did they vote for him just so they could oppose the surge if it went bad? This would further their attempt to embarrass the president. While at the same time knowing if the surge worked they could spin this into a victory for them.

John McCain Writes About His Recent Trip To Iraq
2007-04-08 17:20:52
As most of you probably know, McCain .htm">John McCain has just returned from another trip to Iraq . You can read his thoughts here. I am not a John McCain supporter but this is the one issue I do agree with him on. He talks about the improvements he has seen over there. This man has credibility on this because he has been over there so many times, he has seen it first hand. He also talks about how it hasn’t been covered properly in the media. It wouldn’t fit their agenda, so they just ignore it. I recommend everyone read his piece in the above link.

Gay Activists Politicize White House Easter Egg Roll
2007-04-08 15:06:17
Does anybody else find it ironic that gay activist groups pick the white-house egg roll to make their statement? After all the Easter egg out-dates Christianity and was a pagan symbol for fertility. Just throwing that out there. And by the way, how come the ACLU hasn’t put an end to this tradition anyway?

John Edwards Pulls Out Of Second Fox News Debate
2007-04-08 05:35:48
John Edwards has for the second time pulled out of a debate on Fox News. He has agreed however to appear on a debate hosted by CNN. CNN has no political leanings, do they? I think we know where CNN stands. The point is Fox News is the only station that might slant to the right. All other stations slant left. Is Edwards so afraid of his views he won’t appear on a station that slants the other way? If he is afraid to appear on Fox News how can he be trusted to make tough decisions on issues that might not be popular?

Criticism Of Nancy Pelosi’s Trip To Syria Builds
2007-04-08 04:10:26
It appears that Nancy Pelosi ’s trip to Syria and the gaffs that ensued with Israel are so egregious that even the liberal newspapers have to report it. They tried to hold out and report this trip as a step toward middle east peace. They were hoping that she would be able to embarrass the president and show that appeasement is the way to treat terrorists such as the leader of Syria. Unfortunately Nancy Pelosi lied to Syria about peace talks with Israel, angering one of our biggest allies. And she actually committed a felony by traveling to Syria and conducting foreign policy against the will of the president. All this has led to liberal papers having to come out and denounce Nancy Pelosi, you know it had to be hard on them. Maybe these liberals aren’t as smart as they think they are.

America’s Most Reliable Hurricane Forecaster Says Al Gore Is An Alarmist
2007-04-07 23:01:16
Here is another voice that believes Al Gore doesn’t know what he’s talking about. While the media and politicians all agree that man made global warming exists, there are many scientists and meteorologists who don’t believe climate change is man-made. These voices are not heard in the media because it doesn’t push the true agenda of global warming, taxes.

Cindy Sheehan Says Democrats Aren’t Doing Enough To Stop The War
2007-04-07 22:40:47
Cindy Sheehan is ripping into the Democrats for not doing enough to end the war. She says they have betrayed her. She and the rest of the far left anti war crowd are where the Democrats have their biggest problem. A timetable for defeat isn’t good enough for them.Nothing short of immediate withdrawal is acceptable to them. Of coarse the Democrats know this would be political disaster. They know that they were not elected strictly to put an end to the war.If they were they would cut the funding and end it. Far left anti war people wanted to believe they would end the war, but they don’t have the courage. The truth is the Democrats used the culture of corruption to get themselves elected. Now that they are in there and won’t stop the war, their base, which is the anti war crowd, is growing disillusioned with them. Read about Cindy Sheehan here.

House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer meets with the Founders of Hamas
2007-04-10 02:22:44
Steny Hoyer has had a meeting with radical Islamists according to cnsnews.com. If this report is true he has met with the founders of Hamas known as the Muslim Brotherhood. From the article: Top terrorists who have ties to the Muslim Brotherhood include 9/11 architect Khalid Sheik Mohammed, who joined the organization in Kuwait; al-Qaeda number two Ayman Zawahiri, a former top member of the Brotherhood in Egypt; and the jailed World Trade Center bombing plotter sheik Omar Abdel Rahman, also an Egyptian. This is just the type of people you would want to associate with now isn’t it? But it gets even scarier: Khaled Salam, said the meeting “clearly signals a positive shift in the attitude of both sides to explore the prospects of a more formal dialogue which hopefully will gain more supporters in the U.S. if Democrats win the White House in 2008.” Great, more talks with the people who want to destroy us. More appeasement, it worked so well for President Clinton. Just tal

Senate Bill would make Global Warming an issue of National Security
2007-04-10 01:59:22
There is now a bill in the senate that would link global warming to our national security. Now there are only two ways to pay for this. One: take money from other areas of true national security. That does not sound like a very good idea to me. I think everybody can agree that taking money from real national security issue s and applying it to global warming as national security is more than dumb. It’s dangerous. Two: Raise more money for national security. How do we do this? I don’t think I need to give you the answer, but I will any way. MORE TAXES. This is something that I have been posting about here for a while. The real goal of global warming is to raise your taxes. I have been saying that voluntary carbon offsets would turn into mandatory carbon taxes. But this is something I never would have imagined. Linking global warming to national security. Once it’s there who could argue against taxes for national security? Unless, of course, you happen to be fighting rad

Elizabeth Edwards is afraid of Her ‘Rabid Republican’ Neighbor
2007-04-10 01:27:05
Elizabeth Edwards says she is afraid of her rabid Republican neighbor. All this time I thought Democrats were the compassionate ones, they embrace diversity. They do as long as you are not conservative, that is one area they are not interested in diversification. Here are a couple of interesting excerpts from the article: The Edwards family has yet to meet Johnson in person.“I wouldn’t be nice to him, anyway,” Edwards said. Edwards views Johnson as a “rabid, rabid Republican” who refuses to clean up his “slummy” property just to spite her family, whose lavish 28,000-square-foot estate is nearby on 102 wooded acres. So she has never met him and has already decided she wouldn’t be nice to him anyway? That sounds like a real tolerant and caring person to me. She refers to him as rabid because he is a Republican. In the second excerpt she refers to his property as slummy. What is not included in that excerpt is that his property is a 42 acre

MIT Scientist Disputes Man-Made Global Warming Theory
2007-04-09 11:59:24
This MIT scientist is another example of how not all scientists are on board with the man-made aspect of global warming. The fact that scientists have a consensus, as we are told, means there are scientists out there who don’t believe it. Yet we don’t hear their side of the issue in the media. We are told the debate is over yet I don’t remember there being a debate. This scientist make a good point in the fact that they can’t predict what the weather is going to be like next week accurately, yet we are supposed to believe they can predict the weather years down the road.

The Truth about the Embryonic Stem Cell Debate
2007-04-09 03:52:48
The truth about the embryonic stem cell research debate is that it is not about stopping the research. The way it is always talked about in the media you would think that the debate is about whether this research should be legal or not. Here are a three  excerpts from this article that show what the debate is about: The Senate will consider two bills, one virtually identical to a bill vetoed by President George W. Bush last year that would have expanded and encouraged federal funding of human embryonic stem cell research. The United States has no restrictions on research funded by private sources or by states and several, including California, are actively funding embryonic stem cell research. The House of Representatives passed a bill in January that would expand federal funding of stem cell research As you can see the true debate is over federal money to fund stem cell research. There are no restrictions on stem cell research, and there will be no restrictions on stem cell resear

Fighting The War On Terror, And The Polls
2007-04-09 03:27:04
There is an article here that talks about how in addition to fighting the terrorists, we are also fighting the polls. As the article states, America’s elected officials are thought of as leaders by the American people. If they are truly leaders they wouldn’t sway in the breeze that is the polls. They are followers. While they are elected to represent the people, there are times when they need to stand up and do what is right for the country. This may be unpopular but in the end history will look back and judge them fairly. George W Bush will be looked at in this way. Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, John Kerry, and many more will not. They put poll numbers ahead of what is right for the country, all to ensure re-election. America’s security be damned. This article paints a very bleak picture in the middle east if we leave early and embolden the terrorists. This article doesn’t go into how scary it is already getting in Europe. The European countries are so afraid of
