More wierd news...
2007-04-05 05:39:00
Another article of weird news, found this surfing around and was quite a shocker.this is from the Seattle Times, click here for complete article.Teen's boyfriend was really a woman, 30, police sayThe 30-year-old woman even conned her 14-year-old "girlfriend's" family into believing she was a 17-year-old boy named Mark Villanueva, according to paperwork filed in Everett District Court. She lived with the Everett family on and off over the past two years and formed a relationship with the 14-year-old girl. This is just a wild story, when you think the world can't get stranger, stuff like this pops up.The complete article goes on describing the couple's relationship and more. It's quite a tail, would make for a great network miniseries I guess.

I hate small towns sometimes
2007-04-03 05:46:00
Do you hate small towns? I'm starting to. No Pizza Hut in town, really sucks! I'm craving a nice fatty Pizza Hut special and nearest one is 30 or more miles away. Also being in a small town everything seems to shut down at 5pm, it's like the town flips the sign to closed.Ya know, if I had the money to open up a delivery fast food joint, I could probably make a killing in this town. Oh well, word of warning, if you tend to be the lazy type at times, avoid the small towns! No delivery, no pizza joints, lends itself for a boring night.Time to raid the fridge!

Now this is just crazy

From Liverpool Daily PostPolice quiz boy, 10, for calling schoolfriend 'gay'A father criticised a police force today for launching an investigation after his ten-year-old son allegedly called a schoolfriend “gay” in an email.Ok, I know name calling is childish, but the boy is a child, what is this world coming to? Are we now going to have thought police?Stuff like this sickens me.

Quiet Weekend
2007-04-02 05:52:00
Well, another quiet and boring weekend passes. Haven't really been up to much, reason I haven't added a new post in a couple days. New meds seem to be doing pretty good, Had my MRI last Thursday. That was intense.MRI's suck, being shoved in this tight space for an hour while listening to what sounds like birds on acid chirping at the volume of an Ozzy Osbourne concert. But glad that's over, now to just wait on the results and see if all is well. So here's crossing fingers that nothing too bad is wrong with my back.Anyhow that's about it for the moment, hope everyone had a great weekend.

Amazing Jazz Trio, this song is amazing, awesome piano, bass, and drums.

Happy Saturday All...
2007-03-24 22:32:00
Hopefully your weekend is going swell. Still fighting over my meds side effects that I explained in a previous post, and fighting a bit of a sore throat this weekend, other than that all is well. I've recently applied for SSI, it has been a couple weeks since I mailed back the papers they sent me. So crossing fingers to hear something soon.Still playing dark age of camelot, been playing almost since the game started, the population sure has dropped and it's a lot quieter around "camelot" but me and my guild are still pushing on. I'm not playing as much as I used to play, which can be seen as a good thing to some. But I'm still hopelessly addicted, usually playing around 2 to 4 hours a day.Anyhow I'll probably post some new stuff later, just thought I'd ramble a little bit.

Enigma- Age Of Loneliness

One of my all time favorites, I totally love Enigma , video is very surreal. Didn't realize they had a video out for this song, thought I'd share.

Tired of being tired...
2007-03-22 22:56:00
First off to explain I have high blood pressure and a degenerative disc in my lower back. Anyhow the doctor has me on several meds, but the main 3 at the moment are:Soma (muscle relaxer)Ultram (for pain)Metoprolol (for blood pressure)Now I'm supposed to take the Metoprolol twice a day, Soma every 8 hours or as needed, and Ultram every 8 hours or as needed. The problems these things have been given me is severe drowsiness, lethargy, and a little queasy feeling in the ol' stomach. I've called my doctor but the assistant just transfers me to voicemail, But I do have an appointment this Monday. Hopefully the doc can get this crap squared away and put me on something so I don't feel like a zombie all the time.Well, that's enough babbling at the moment, just wanted to rant a little.

Boring night
2007-03-22 06:00:00
Bored tonight, health issues acting up, one day I guess I'll have to go into detail about the issues, but anyhow I'll just say extreme back pain tonight, and headache.Took some medicine for it, Doc has me on muscle relaxer and a pain killer so hoping those kick in soon. Been surfing web reading crazy news stories and stuff. Was going to log in my game (dark age of camelot for those that don't know) but think I'll just let the pain subside and go on to bed.Anyhow this is a complete boring update, but hopefully I will have some fun or weird stuff to post soon.Anyhow for those that have stumbled across the site, have a good night!

Craziest disease I've ever heard of
2007-03-21 22:43:00
Sitting here surfing the web, as I usually do most afternoons, I came across what has got to be the wierdest disease ever.Anyhow without further ado...http://mdn.mainichi-msn.co.jp/waiwai/archive/news/2006/11/20061115p2g00m0dm040000c.htmlGrowing numbers of Japanese women are afflicted with an illness that gives them orgasms virtually 24 hours a day. And with suggestions that it could be deadly, the women hardly know whether they're coming or going, according to Shukan Post (11/24).Dunno how real this is supposedly, but thats got to be the wackiest thing I ever heard of. If I caught that disease, I'd never leave the house...Oh wait a minute, I never leave the house anyway... ah well

I hate telemarketers
2007-04-06 05:21:00
Don't know why it is, but telemarketers seem to swarm to my phone number. Promises of free money, low interest rate loans, satellite television, etc. I've requested many times to be placed on their do not call list, and have signed up on that national do not call list registry, but seems to not be working.I understand that people have a job to do, but telemarketers really get on my nerves. You'd think that after telling them not to call back, they'd have the common decency to leave you alone. Oh well, one of the small evils of life I guess. By the way if your interested in signing up on the national do not call registry, you can find their website here:National Do Not CallBut so far it doesn't seem to be working for me. Maybe your results will be different.

Happy Easter!
2007-04-08 20:02:00
Happy Easter everyone. Today is the day of family cookouts, church services, hot dogs, hamburgers, and children hunting those elusive colored eggs.Today I think I'll break with the norm, and have some seafood. Got shrimp and crab to cook today that I think will hit the spot.Be careful if you're driving today, and have a happy Easter!

What's up with Walmart and Target now?
2007-04-09 23:41:00
My daily surfing of the web brought me to this strange story. The headlineWal-Mart and Target Spy on Their EmployeesHere is link to full article from Alternet. With Target and Wal-Mart acting as though they are entitled to spy on, stalk and imprison their own employees, we are on the road to a full-scale workplace dictatorship. The article lists several intrusive business practices that the companies do to their employees. For example, Justin Kenward, who worked at a Target store in Chino, CA for three years, wrote about his six hour interrogation in 2003, he was wrongfully accused of stealing, but you would think 6 hours is a bit much. It's amazing and I just learned myself that Walmart employs it's own security agency and espionage system that damn near rivals our government's.It's a sad state of affairs when employees are constantly losing their rights, being spied on, not trusted, and it's especially sad that a lot of our jobs have moved overseas for cheap labor. So we are slowl

Wednesday Afternoon
2007-04-12 00:35:00
Well I was supposed to call the doctor today to setup a new appointment and to get results of my MRI that I posted about a week ago, but decided to procrastinate and perhaps call them tomorrow. In some ways I'm sorta worried that they may have found something, and in other perhaps not found anything at all. I know I have a degenerating disc in my lower back, but hopefully it isn't too bad. Guess I should call them in the morning. In other news, it was great hearing from an old friend of mine today. I haven't seen or spoken to him in a few years and was a great surprise to hear from him, that really made my day. My little advice for everyone, if there is an old friend or someone you haven't spoken to in years, look them up and give them a call or an email and brighten some one's day. It does the heart good I guarantee.Still poking around the web here and there, stay tuned of course, I may just find another weird news story to comment on, or a great video to post.

Sunday Afternoon
2007-04-15 21:36:00
Well today ends the weekend, hope everyone out there had a great one. And yea I've still been procrastinating going to doc, I did call hoping to get the MRI results over phone, but no such luck. They want their $50 bucks, so I guess I'll be going in this week to go over everything, and get refills on blood pressure medicines.Anyhow in other news I came across this article that's pretty wild yet awesome. You can read the full article here.102 year old woman gets hole in one.Elsie Mclean finally reached her dream of hitting a hole in one Thursday. Mclean took to the green in Chico, setting a new world record for the oldest woman, or man, to hit a hole in one. That's amazing, good job though. I doubt I'll be anywhere near as active at that age.

My Gaming
2007-04-16 21:49:00
In my about me I list dark age of camelot as the game I play but haven't spoken about it yet. For those that don't know, dark age of camelot is a MMORPG (massive multiplayer online role playing game). I've been playing dark age now for 5 years. And yes, it's massively addicting. Here is a screenshot of my main character. If your interested in playing dark age of camelot, you can go to http://www.darkageofcamelot.com and even download the game. I believe they have a 14 day free trial.

Blazing Toilets
2007-04-18 00:15:00
In what could be one of the weirdest stories I've heard this week, coming out of Japan, is toilets randomly catching fire. Japanese company Toto Ltd creator of 'high tech' toilets and bidets have been having some problems with their products.Toto Ltd., known for its high-tech toilets with bidets that have blow-drying, air purification and seat-warming functions, apologized to consumers and offered free checks and repairs after some of its toilets with bidets and heated seats sent up smoke and three caught fire. The report goes on to say no one was injured, But lets say if there was, would you admit it? Getting your bum scorched on the toilet is not something I'd brag about. Who needs high tech toilets anyhow, there are some parts of life that technology shouldn't fool with in my opinion. Anyhow you can read the full article here from Reuters.

Back Pain and High Blood Pressure
2007-04-19 05:50:00
Well, a little more details I thought I'd share, perhaps there are others with similar issues. I've got high blood pressure, and my doctor says I have a degenerating disc in my lower back. Back pain is so aggravating, It's not too bad laying down or sitting for a bit. It just gets crazy when standing for any length of time or walking.Really sucks when going to grocery store, halfway through shopping I end up using the buggy as a walker so to speak. The good part is for pain the doctor put me on Vicodin and Soma, most should know what Vicodin is, but Soma is a muscle relaxer, those 2 are little miracles in pill form for me. I'm able to get around better and move without lots of pain. The depressing part of all this, is I had a great job in Orlando, FL that eventually went out of business, afterward my medical issues have gotten worse, so I'm currently unemployed with no insurance, and it really sucks that it seems that doctors really don't give a rat's ass about people without ins

Bad news and good news
2007-04-23 04:12:00
Sorry I haven't posted in a few days. Wednesday night I was rushed to hospital where I had a heart attack. I was given a heart catheterizing where 2 stints were placed in my heart. So now I'm recovering, I'm finally home but resting. Anyhow I will probably post more on this later just wanted to give an update.

Update on my recovery
2007-04-28 23:43:00
Little update on my recovery from a heart attack. So far everything seems pretty good, I'm still in the process of quitting smoking, it's now my 10th day smoke free. I've also changed my diet to low sodium, low sugar content. I've still got 2 to 3 weeks of recovery before I'm allowed to start exercising. As far as my new medicines, I'm now on Plavax, Zocor, Altace, Metoprolol, low dose Aspirin. And I just went to my local doctor, the one I discussed in previous posts about having an MRI. Well I got the results of it and I have a herniated disc in my lower back. The sucky part is no insurance and unable to work at the moment. So I've applied for disability, I have spoken with a disability advocate from the hospital plus my local doc is filling out papers to help me get this started. Right now my medicines are running a little over $200 per month which is crazy. Health care is really tough when your broke. Hopefully the disability will come through for me.Anyhow I hope everyone is
