Things I Wanna Do (Soon Or Before I Die) 2008-09-18 17:35:13 Since my mind and heart usually go in a hundred different directions
at once, I figured I’d put pen to paper, er… fingers to keyboard and
make a list of things I wanna do. Short-term, long-term, whatever. I
seem to be thinking about these things a lot lately.
-Beat all of my Wii & Virtual Console games… So I can buy MORE games for Wii & the Virtual Console
-Learn guitar… again

New blog, same ol' Misfit 2008-09-18 17:32:07 So yeah, I've stepped up my game (just a bit) and got a domain name and everything. I'm just testing the waters for now, but we'll see how it goes!I'll be transferring all of my WordPress stuff over here, but feel free to keep checkin' up on both blogs! ;) Oh, and just for my own sanity, I'll be back-posting my WP stuff (ex: posts will start to appear as being posted in August 2008). It just keeps
WWE No Mercy 2008 Predictions 2008-10-05 12:46:20 A quick break from Halloween Scream...Bold is my predicted winner.World Heavyweight Championship Ladder MatchChris Jericho (c) vs. Shawn MichaelsRAW needs a strong heels besides Orton and Jericho's one of the best wrestlers in WWE AND this is quite possibly the best run he's had in the company. I know typical good vs. evil calls for an HBK win here, but he doesn't need the title and even if he was Read more:Predictions
Rating the 'Halloween' Franchise 2008-10-01 12:40:44 It's here!!! October! Halloween
season! And, of course, the 2008 edition of The Metal Misfit's Halloween Scream! I couldn't ask for a better day for it all to start either-- it's a cloudy, breezy 52 degrees outside. Real Fall is finally is here and to quote Kramer, "I'm LOVIN' every minute of it"!!!Theoretically, I plan on doing a Halloween-themed post every other day, running from the 1st up to t Read more:Rating
Theatrical & Video Horror Releases for September/October 2008 2008-09-29 14:03:17 Can't decide on whether to watch 'Halloween 5' on AMC for the 302nd time or to check out another replay of 'The Haunting' on Turner Classic? Well, have some fear! Run to your local video store (or do the Netflix thing) or theater to check out these new releases...I'm including September
releases as well because the movie industry likes to get a jump on the Halloween buzz early, especially when it Read more:October
Kraft Macaroni & Cheese Dinner 2008-09-28 09:16:57 [youtube=
At no time
was the generation gap ever more apparent than during the 1980s. We
kids called it "KraftCheese
& Macaroni
", but parents insisted on
referring to it as "Kraft Macaroni & Cheese". Will Smith was right.
Parents just don't understand.
I still
remember getting into screaming matches with my parents at the dinner
table over just what to call it. The whole situati Read more:Dinner
NEW! Bubble Yum Hershey's Chocolate Gum 2008-09-28 09:15:50
I consider myself a risk taker of sorts. I walk underneath ladders,
I let the gas get to empty, I have three pets in my apartment when I'm
only allowed two, and I never wipe. So, naturally, when I saw there was
a Hershey
's chocolate flavored Bubble
Yum, I did my best 'Livin' On A
Prayer' and said "we'll give it a shot"!
Now, even though the product is supposedly "NEW!", quick research

Answer my call, McDonald's! Give us back the peppermint sundae! (UPDATED) 2008-09-28 09:15:01
As we march on in search of truth about the mysterious Monster Pops,
let us not forget about McDonald
's peppermint sundae. I've made no
secret that this item is at the top of my list of foods I want BACK in
production. It's a no-brainer really. Ice cream + peppermint syrup +
holidays = $$$. Why McDonald's ever dropped this one from the menu I'll
never know-- but WAIT! I WILL know because I just s
Rolo Candy 2008-09-27 19:27:01 I rediscovered these suckers last year, after years and years of not giving them a second thought in the candy aisle. I used to eat'em a lot (perhaps too much) and I still remember their commercials airing during Saturday morning cartoons (Oh, those sneaky advertising firms!)Rolos were just a fun candy. I liked squishing them and biting them in half. And just look at that commercial, it looks like Read more:Candy
And a big 'SCREW YOU' to people who report YouTube violations 2008-09-26 07:24:33 Why? I'll tell you why.

Yes, technically all you YouTube
videos should be original and the rights owned by the uploader, but give me a flippin' break. Who gets upset that someone upped a mid-80s Burger King chicken tenders Christmas commercial? It's complete bull. No one is profiting from old commercials being posted, if anything, if the product is even still around, it might ma Read more:people

And a big 'SCREW YOU' to falling gas prices 2008-09-22 06:28:29 Why? I'll tell you why. There's nothing worse than filling up your tank (Well, close to full, who can actually afford a full tank these days?) and the next day seeing the price go down at that very same gas station quicker than a 50 cent hooker hanging around the dollar store. In this day and age, there's not a worse feeling in the world (other than a 50 cent blowjob). Disappointment and despair sin Read more:falling
Army Gear 2008-09-20 18:08:08 Anyone else remember these fine miniature weapons of mass destruction? I always get a good laugh when I look at some toys from the '80s because I just can't see these making the shelves in this day and age at Target or Wal-Mart for too long without some church or parent group complaining and getting them pulled for promoting violence and contributing to the decline of our nation's youth.

The New Scooby Doo Mysteries: A Halloween Hassle at Dracula's Castle 2008-10-23 16:43:52 It's a Scooby
Doo-a-thon! Here's another nifty Scooby 'toon I found written by none other than writer/producer Paul Dini. Dini has written fantastic episodes and/or produced for other popular cartoons such as Batman Beyond, Animaniacs, Duck Dodgers, Tiny Toon Adventures, Ewoks, Superman: The Animated Series, Dungeons & Dragons, Justice League, and most famously, Batman: The Animated Serie Read more:Castle

Scooby Doo, Where Are You!: Don't Fool with a Phantom 2008-10-21 17:34:34 Much like Transformers, Scooby
Doo just hasn't held up well in my eyes since my childhood. I was a HUGE Scooby fan as a kid, it's the cartoon I have the earliest memories of. I remember coming home from school and watching it in the late afternoons (I think He-Man usually followed it in my area) and hearing and smelling my mom's cooking.I had a Scooby bop bag. Though why I would want to inflict ph Read more:Phantom
Comic Book Mini-Series That Shoulda Been Ongoing 2008-10-20 18:34:23 I've been thinking lately a lot about comics and then I started thinking about mini-series that should have led into an ongoing series because they were so darn good. Three titles immediately came to mind...
Son of Vulcan (2005, DC Comic
s)A fun series featuring a kid taking over the mantle of a superhero. The art was great and would've been neat to see this story in the long term. I think the las
Horror comedies! Enjoy the trailers! 2008-10-19 17:38:57 Tonight, in yet another attempt to go easy on my poor left hand (that doesn't sound right, does it?), I bring you trailers from some of a finer horror/comedies of the past. I dare you to watch these trailers and then NOT want to see the movie itself.
Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein (1948)
One of the finer moments of the mixed genre. If you think about it as an original idea, taking a hot
Monsters of Wrestling II 2008-10-15 17:30:00 On with part 2!The Boogeyman
Words fail me with this guy. Boogeyman is one of the worst wrestlers around today and I really have no idea why he still has a job. He truly would be the perfect Dungeon of Doom member. He definitely fits the "monster" theme, the gimmick is insane. He bashes clocks over his head, his top two front teeth are missing and he spits worms from his mouth into his opponents'
Random Halloween Commercials 2008-10-13 06:20:52 Okay, here's the deal: On and off since Spring, my left hand has been doing some weird numbing thing on the ring & pinky side. I don't know what it is and I should probably go to a doctor about it. In the meantime, for today's Halloween

Oh, Christmas, where art thou? 2008-10-09 05:50:22 I know Halloween hasn't even hit us yet and I'm in the middle of celebrating it, but... Is it wrong to already be yearning for Christmas
? RetroPlex was airing Holiday Inn this morning and I flipped to it for the heck of it and what do you know? I land right in the middle of Bing singing "White Christmas".Now I wish Christmas was here. =(
Retro Halloween Ads 2008-10-08 20:13:39 Not an original idea, but fun nonetheless...
I've actually seen this one before in person, probably in an old comic book or something.
Too recent to be retro, but I found this one to be particularly entertaining nonetheless.
Wouldn't you like your very own "Big Frankie"?
