2007-03-28 17:18:12
Citizendium (Citizen’s Compendium), an online encyclopedia started by a founder of Wikipedia, announced today that the wiki has been opened for public use. Though it is still in it’s beta stage. This is what the site claims about itself: The Citizendium (sit-ih-ZEN-dee-um), a “citizens’ compendium of everything,” is an open wiki project aimed at creating an enormous and free encyclopedia. The project, started by a founder of Wikipedia, aims to improve on the Wikipedia model by adding “gentle expert oversight” and requiring contributors to use their real names. We have over 1,000 articles and hundreds of contributors. Mail is all set to upgrade all the user’s mailbox capacity. From May 2007, Yahoo! will start giving it’s users unlimited storage capacity. 2007-03-13 15:42:39
Hey Guys, As my exam fever is cooling down, I have started learing the programming language “C” from a book called “C for Dummies “. This is the first time I am attempting to learn programming though I know a bit of “Hyper Text Transfer Protocol”(HTML). As I was expecting, it’s really fun to learn C. And the book, as it promises, makes it more fun. If you don’t know any kind of programming, it’s good to begin with C. If you want to learn C all by yourself, then the book “C for Dummies” is a must have!! Click here to download the book. As I was saying, I began reading the book after dinner at 9:00 PM yesterday night. There are so many funny things given in the book, that I didn’t know the time pass by. By 10:00 PM, I had created the first program of my life as a programmer. It was a stupid, basic (more…)
