posted something about project "Dark Porcelain" whereby they were now developing a method by which the internet could be transmitted through the sewers and up through your toilet. Cars Cars and More Cars 2007-04-02 08:07:00 So this is supposed to be about used cars right?And used car classifieds?What would my dream car be?Well... It would probably be a truck. One of those older trucks you know that you see at car shows. They used to have a good one in Wortley Village but now they are moving that to the Western Fairgrounds. Big ugly toenail man is getting really steamed too. Having done this for the site at work (which boohoo lost all its PR points because stupid Rogers hosting was stupid and the site was down off and on for a few weeks), but that's neither here nor there, I find now that I must adapt my techniques much more to counteract the fact that there are other people competing against me. I was just as diligent about the seo for that site, and though I am sure many florists get seo companies to optimize their sites, there was not really any "competition". I did not know near what I know today, so that is why I think that. Scooter 2007-04-03 03:35:00 That's it. I am giving up this darn seocontest and I am going to just ride my scooter now that it is spring. Yeah right. But there is a lot of scooter in my future let me tell you. I love my little Honda Jazz. And even though scooters are totally gay for men to ride (what you can't handle a bike?) Well, what is nice about my seocontest mailbox is that, while typically I will open my email inbox and I will grumble at all the spam I get, but in this case, spam emails are usually still good. So when I check my shopautodotca seocontest emails, and I see that I have received spam, I will most certainly check them because more often than not they are emails I want to receive. What I find strange however, and what sort of confuses me about spam filters in email inboxes is that sometimes emails from the same email address will go into the spam box. Tranferring your blogger blog to another host 2007-04-06 19:35:00 So as you know I have transferred my seocontest blogger blog to my own host. I needed this done and though there were some moments that I thought: "what was I thinking?". Now in retrospect it was a lot of work but totally worth it.But I was having some trouble finding out the best way to do this without screwing up my chances by doing something like this so late in the game (as the the blogger blog would now be my main shopautodotca seocontest blog and the Tripod blog would not matter).I was not sure if I should leave all my posts up or do meta refresh or delete the blog entirely or delete some of my posts in the blog.I left the posts up at first, leaving the blog as is with my last post saying that it had moved. now. Wordpress is so much better! I wish I had used to Wordpress for my shopautodotca seocontest.When you add hyperlink you can add title tag.The template designs are so much nicer.The blog stats and the feed stats.Uploading is a lot faster. There is more flexibility with the templates. It's a lot more community driven.There were a bunch of other reasons that I thought of when I was using it.Anyways, when the shopautodotca seocontest is done I am going to start a blog, and it will be on Wordpress. of .com and .net domain
names are going up. .com names will go up by 7% and .net domains will increase by 10%. To deal with an increasing need for greater infrastructure do deal with demand, as well as threats from hackers, they are increasing the prices of these domains. Though Verisign runs the computers that dole out 266 other domain suffixes, they are only increasing the price of these two as this will generate enough revenue to meet their requirements. The price change is set to occur on October 15, so I imagine there will be lot of domain names purchased over the next few months.
