No title 2008-04-09 23:46:00 Seriously, y'all people in Atlanta put up with some crazy drivers. I thought Las Vegas was bad. pfff, Atlanta drivers make Vegas drivers look like little angels. At one time, I was a very angry driver. Now, I drive as if everyone on the road is high on meth and has a loaded gun in their car. It helps keep my road rage in check.________________We're back home and I am exhausted! I'm so thankful for nonstop flights and Tylenol PM, the combination of the two made our flight home so much more bearable. Lots to do and say, will catch up soon!
Nosebleeds at the Atlanta Braves 2008-04-12 00:08:00 I love baseball season. Our first game of 2008 was in Atlanta

hosting the Mets.We were in the nosebleed seats but I was happy to be there.Going to our first Padre game next week. The seats are much, much better.
Throned and Thrown 2008-04-16 00:51:00 There's one place in the entire upstairs of the house where I am able to connect to the internet. My bathroom.I usually do all my posting in bed and frankly I can't seem to update my blog downstairs. I've been meaning to post about my trip to Atlanta and my nephew Elliott, but since the lid of this toilet is lacking in comfort, I'll save that for another post. I won't even mention how behind I am on all the blogs that I read, another luxury I tend to save as a bedtime ritual. But I won't leave without showing you my favorite Elliott picture. I always seem to pick an unlikely favorite, either from my personal pics or from client sessions, and Elliott is no exception. Of all the hundreds of pictures I took of this kid, this one takes the cake (he's sneaking a viewing of Star Wars, my siste Read more:Thrown
Spring Cleaning with Martha Stewart 2008-04-17 13:42:00 AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN'T FOLD A FITTED SHEET?That's it. That's the best I can do. My fitted sheets go right in the linen closet folded just like that.I've tried so hard to fold them correctly. I've watched the MarthaStewart
video tutorials and I've checked out her housekeeping books. They've only left me with the conclusion that Madame Stewart is possessed by powers unnatural. Spring
cleaning has gotten the best of me. Read more:Cleaning

News, News and More News 2008-04-29 22:28:00 I only have 98 more posts to read on my blog list. I wish I weren't so darn nosey--I just love to know what everybody is up to. Actually, once you get into this blogging world, it's very hard not to become addicted to the lives you follow. A very formidable type of kinship that is hard to explain. Several blogs are of my dear friends that I have a personal history with, but most are people who I've stumbled upon in one way or another and really can't live without. Both, my known and "cyber" friends, teach me so much.Anyway! 98 left to go and I had to stop because I realized how long it's been since I'VE updated! So much has been going on and so many emotions. The biggest news is that I got a job to supplement my photography. (This is another blog post all together because it deals w
Senior 2008-05-06 21:27:00 Thought I'd post some pictures from a recent Senior Session. After graduation, she is joining the marines to protect and serve. Absolutely love her! --I graduated in '92 and my senior pictures looked nothing like these. What a welcome change from the black drape and fake red rose. Remember those days? Think Aqua Net and big hair. Have a great Wednesday everybody!
Freedom, Mother's and the World 2008-05-12 23:04:00 **Why is it that when I hear George Michael's "Freedom
" I get so beside myself I think I can sing, and sing loudly. That song is so incredibly good (the louder the better) and I don't really care for George Michael.**To all you mothers out there--Happy belated Mother's Day. You have the most important job in the world, I hope you all feel so appreciated. **So many horrific things happening in Read more:World
Updates, Oceans and Trees 2008-05-20 12:17:00 We've spent the last several days moving. Wouldn't you know, the weather has been not so much southern California as it has been freakishly hot Las Vegas, with a kick of tropical humidity. I think today the temps are going back to the normal upper 60's mid 70's range. All in all, it was not a fun move. AND, it was only a small fraction of our stuff. The rest is coming out from Omaha in the ne Read more:Oceans

Moving Sideways 2008-06-08 03:16:00 I've spent the last few weeks getting comfortable with my new schedule, as well as a new house and relatively new job. It hasn't been a torturous experience, but it certainly hasn't been pleasant. Somewhere amidst the transitions, spring is turning into summer and the sunshine is infectious. Luckily, it's a very mild and gentle shift between the two seasons here. Oddly June is known for it's g Read more:Moving

Angry Asian Girl, For Real 2008-06-09 14:43:00 We had our furniture delivered today and I am not happy. Actually, I am fuming. This is where I become acutely aware of my character flaws. Part of me is saying, it's just furniture, but another part is screaming at the carelessness of it all and reminding myself of the cost of the furniture. Instead of letting myself go crazy with frustration, I took it out on an email. I once heard that it i Read more:Asian
San Diego Padres 2008-06-28 02:03:00 Last weekend, Curtis and I went to Orange County to see Ralphie May at the Improv. Orange County is just as close as downtown San Diego
. Los Angeles is just a little bit further, but still a do-able hour and a half drive. We'd seen Ralphie May on a couple of different TV shows and also saw him open for Jay Mohr a few years ago in Vegas. I love stand up comedy and he is hilarious. My cheeks hu Read more:Padres

The Del Mar Fair 2008-06-22 02:02:00 Friday, we started the first day of summer by heading to the Del Mar Fair. Curtis and I took our nephew and we had such a great time. It's been ages since I've been to the fair, seriously, sometime in the 80's sufficiently counts as ages. I don't remember much but I'm pretty sure it sucked so I never had any longing to go to a Fair since then. Not so with the Del Mar Fair. With the exception
