Sexpo In A Webpage
2006-12-19 11:11:00
Love Edition is a veritable Sexpo In A Webpage, in fact, its even graced the recent Sexpo. You could think that this is just any other love-seeking website, but I beg to differ. But I think this one stands away from the hordes.Under Online Shop -> Kama Sutra Secrets, you'll see Body Souffle Creams, like this:Comes in 4 flavours: Chocolate Creme, Cool Mint Creme, French Vanilla Creme and Strawberry Creme. From a friend's review, she says the creams are slippery, delicious, and yes, edible. I guess there isn't a need for me to further elaborate on how it works. Its a pity though, that the website doesn't explain how each product works, and the pictures are too small and well, could have been taken in a more flattering manner.Additionally, you can get yourself the best vibrator in the world. Look up Online Shop -> Pleasure Objects and you'll see a plethora of, girly toys.Lelo's Lily - Sweet PlumIts an interesting shape. And the part about no descriptions on their website? Don't worry

Rabbit Video

Observe that1) There is eye-shit at the corner of his left eye, and in the middle of the video I remove it.2) Rabbit s, all love to have their cheeks rubbed.3) They get pretty lazy with age.4) He looks fat.

Hillview Landslide
2006-12-23 04:19:00
I stay pretty close to Jalan Dermawan, Hillview Gardens, so I took the opportunity to see for myself what is regarded as one of the more havoc-creating landslides in recent years. The (upslope) road leading to Jalan Dermawan.I initially couldn't find the site, but the very obvious trails of earth and soil led me there. And here's a closer look at the yellow-tinged road:Vehicular tracks were pretty visible - I was expecting officials and some emergency crew to be at the site, like the papers said.True enough, there was already some company in the area.I think the armed forces sent a representative because the fence of Gombak Camp got damaged in the landslide. The site of damage:Jalan Dermawan, off Hillview Avenue. The Jalan Dermawan playground, and its vicinity, has been cordoned off to the public:The blue canvas has been placed over the exposed earth to prevent further landslides.A little to the right:Here's a shot I sneaked - observe the full extent of the damage:And a slight close-up:

Tower Defence
2006-12-26 16:37:00
This is one pretty interesting game, introduced by Currytan. Some pointers:1. Fire has the least damage, and the shortest range. You won't go far with them.2. Ice has furthest range (300), but does only 6000 plus of damage3. Nature has a moderate range (215), but does the highest damage of 9000.4. Storm Tower is un-upgradable - don't even build one.5. I haven't tried the rightmost one that costs 3000, anyone cares to share?Click here to play.p.s. I beat Currytan too!

Why Firefox?
2006-12-27 17:05:00
When it comes to new applications, and in this case, web browsers, people can be reluctant to change, especially if they've been too comfy with what they've been using since day one. But, you won't know what you're missing till you see and try it for yourself - I wasn't convinced that Mozilla Firefox was any better, and that the time spent learning a new way of browsing negated the benefits the new browser promised. But I was so wrong. Honest. Why Mozilla Firefox is better #1 - Tabbed BrowsingTaking this for illustration purpose:To open Nadnut's blog in a new tab, place cursor over her hot picture as above. Now, (for most of you) look to the right:I never realized how beautiful my mouse looks.See the middle button? Depress it, while the cursor is still over Nadnut's picture.Yes, like above. And next to your present tab, you'll see Nadnut's blog open in a new tab.To re-iterate my point (you can try this at the same time):No words, follow the pictures and try it out.Done! Why Mozil

2006 Bad Bags.
2006-12-28 10:12:00
Some say leggings made the fashion scene in 2006, some think its an exact antithesis.Bags have gone cheap, and aplenty, especially with brands like Zinc and Ink, apart from the (too) common Adidas/Nike bags.Bad Bag #1Long bags - meaning they're long vertically - are horrid. Factor in the tight strap, and the mode of carrying it - it's an eyesore when big burly men carry their bags like this.Bad Bag #2Looks cheap. Feels cheap. If everyone else has it - it makes you cheap too. But its grossly overpriced.

BryanBoy - Wannabe
2006-12-28 09:45:00
This post, and the inclusive pictures, are highly motivated by Bryanboy - elaborations, later.Princess-Veron is the second Barfly I've met - The Rational Neurotic being the first I've known, met, and hung-out with. Thus, yesterday's outing marks the getting-to-know the second Barfly.I'm not photogenic - so I tend to look better when I grimace/wink/frown/look-stupid.That's our Barfly, Princess-Veron - one big camwhore. She said she was on a girly diet, but,Calamari and Potato Wedges don't sound like celery sticks to me. And for all Bryanboy lovers, this is for you!To Bryanboy, from Singapore.

Which Shoe?
2006-12-29 18:51:00
Here are 2 pretty similar looking shoes:I like a particular shoe, and The Rational Neurotic likes the other - want to guess who prefers which? If you're bored enough, do tell which you prefer by leaving a comment!p.s. we think the shoes are beautiful.

Army Meet-Up
2006-12-29 18:41:00
Game: Find me!Army meet-up, this time, its only 6 of us, I'm afraid attendance will get less and less over the years. We're all wondering who's going to get their Reservist Unit first. I don't mind being first, honest. Here's ZJ's account of the meet up.

Zombies: The Room.
2006-12-30 13:53:00
This game is pretty similar to Quake, especially the weapons. 1) Pistol2) Uzi3) Shotgun4) Barrel Placement5) Grenades6) Mines7) Rocket Launcher8) RailgunA great way to hold up the zombies is to place barrels around their spawning areas. Its noteworthy to know that you can move through the barrels, which means you either lob a grenade over the barrel-walls, or run through the hordes and fire through the bodies before running back to your side of the wall again. And if you've got enough barrels you can do this:Just remember not to shoot any of the barrels when you're near them.Play the game here!

Maia Lee - A New Piece?
2007-01-02 14:26:00
This was from the Sunday Times, dated 31st Dec 2006:My scanner wasn't accessible, so I only managed a fuzzy shot with my camera. For the sake of clarity, here's what Maia Lee said: 'Singaporeans, please don't make yourself look stupid and ask the salesperson to get you a "new piece" of the item you are buying. If I were the salesperson, I'd slap my shoe across your face and tell you to go home and drink milk.' -- MAIANow, what is wrong what is wrong with what Maia said? Everything!I don't have much experience in the fashion retail industry, but I know enough to point out that Maia hasn't been in that industry at all. Why you should always insist on a new pieceThat article of clothing you tried on, has been tried-on by more people that you've imagined. To the best of my recollection, each article is tried-on by at least a good 5-8 people before it gets sold. We're talking about people who came in sweaty, sometimes smelly, some with a mild body odour, and some who seemed to have

Retail - A Prequel/Sequel
2007-01-04 09:01:00
Since the entry on Maia Lee - A New Piece was pretty well received, here's a prequel to it.Here's an excerpt:Insights From A Retail AssistantAs a rather new part timer, I see things from both a customer view and a full timer view. Things that you don't know till you've worked in that industry. Things that most people would rather not know because it could slightly spoil their shopping experienceFull StoryI've been working part-time as a Retaill Assistant for some time now. I've totalled 7 working days at 4 different branches which spans over a period of 2 months and to date, despite the manager's repeated assurance, I'm yet to receive my uniform. So she askes of me to wear a polo shirt without any brands. But all the polo shirts I have with no brands are those printed during my stint as an instructor in BMTC, and I lan lan have to wear those. As a rather new part timer, I see things from both a customer view and a full timer view. Things that you don't know till you've worked in

The Holidays Ends.
2007-01-06 12:36:00
If you know me in person, you'll know I've nothing to cheer about as the holidays come to an end. In fact, its very depressing. That's why I'm going to blog about the holidays. It'll be my fighting force for the next good 14 weeks of studying learning mugging hell.Landslide in Hillview, Jalan Dermawan. The landslide, through my own eyes.Went out with the Princess from the CowBoyBar.Met up with the guys from army.Tried looking for bags - nothing caught my fancy. Got a mention in Bryanboy's, though.Showed the worl that Maia Lee is all boobs, no brains.Counted down to 2007 with Dad's friends. I was having as much fun as the dog.Ate at Billy Bombers twice, with The Rational NeuroticTried retail therapy. Bought nothing.Got promoted to Gunslinger in the CowBoyBar. Royal scandals always come in handy.More to come!

Pole Hoggers - Now On Buses, Too.
2007-01-06 11:12:00
Remember how some people like to hog the grab-poles in the MRT by leaning against them? Now, its even spread to buses. I think this is even more unforgiveable than MRT pole hoggers because its generally a more bumpy ride on the bus, and the bus itself offers much less standing space. In the very same bus, at the same time:One aunty leaning on the grab pole right next to the bus exit. Notice that the 'Push To Stop' button has been blocked by her.And another uncle, is doing the same on the other grab pole next to the exit. (He's also blocking the 'Push To Stop' button.)Trust me, everyone had a hard time exiting the bus.

Fox Men - $7 Basket.
2007-01-12 16:31:00
If you're at/near Fox apparel, it'll be worth your time sifting through the $7 sale basket because they put the old unsold items there, and some are pretty good. But don't expect the common sizes like M, L, XL - chance are that all you've got are XS, and S, which works fine for me.Try the branch at Vivocity - they've got more stocks. The one at Takashimaya don't have alot to offer. Then again, I could be wrong - so just try. There's alot of ugly clothing in the pile, and be prepared to make some effort. I walked home with this green stretch tee:And a boob-shot:Which probably explains all the male attention I get, too. Some better ones from the $7 basket:I still haven't reached the stage where I'm comfy with the idea of baring my armpit hair to everyone in the bus.I've got something similar already, so I'm passing.Doesn't fit well. And many males don't know how important the fit of a top is.And a large majority fall prey too easily to NUM.

I Feel Good.
2007-01-17 16:57:00
I'm feeling remarkable good about myself as 17th Jan comes to a close, because I'm downing Gin with honey-lime juice. This sem, I'm out to raise my CAP score - so if I can't free myself for outings, please understand. Metrosexual-Me won't be updated as often as it had aways been.In a bid to maintain consistency in my blog, here's somethings you might want to pay attention from the TopmanLinkGood berms, no frills, satisfactory cut. There's nothing to dislike about this pair of berms, unless you seek for beng patterns frills. Observe the pocket openings - a handphone there won't fall out when you're seated. They've got that detail covered.Link.Sling bags are in, backpacks are out (sadly). This one, is very safe for school, and work. Link.A plain tee? 'Big deal', you might think. But, you could be missing the point. Plain tees (with a proper fit) is overly under-rated. I don't know how the fit is like at Topman, but from my experience, you can try U2. 2007-01-21 07:03:00
Since there isn't any male online stores (yet, and NewUrbanMale doesn't really count), I spend what's left of my free time surfing online stores, especially the locals ones to see how they're faring. They (the general public, sometimes too apathetic at times) are always very quick to put me down when they say that 'there's no market for male fashion'. But seriously I'd think not. But that isn't the point of this post, I'm to share some steals from LaceCloset (Singapore-based online store).Halter neck top with a gathered bust. Topman - Beyond Service.
2007-01-27 12:22:00
I must confess - I've never liked Topman 's tops. In fact, many of them can turn out nicely if they didn't have those darn apulets (think SAF uniform). But, if you're looking for jeans, you might wish to see what they have to offer - they've got plenty of bootcuts, and reasonably priced at around $50 odd. Some of you might remember I bought a pair of bootcut jeans from Topman somewhere in August 06, and I only decided to alter it in Jan 2007 because the rain has been leaving my jeans very drenched. And so I did alter - but the jean legs turned out one long, one shortSo, TRN, Lex and I went back on friday evening to ask for a refund/store-credit. Prior to that I have alreay resigned myself to the possibility of them not entertaining us because it was just half an inch shorter. Turns out that Diana, who was at our service that evening, had everything you could ask for in service. We don't just want service staff smiling and greeting you as you enter/leave stores - we want assurance t

Picking Your Stubble.
1970-01-01 00:59:59
I think the issue of picking your stubble (with your fingers) in public has been debated in Stomp.sg some weeks ago. But, like inconsiderate behaviour in the public, as much as you discuss about them, they'll never go away. People will still not allow commuters to alight before they board, and it'll persist because my observations tell me that even the children are not seeing what's wrong with it. And the same goes with picking your stubble in public.Time: 3.25pmTime: 3.31pmTime: 3.40pmTime: 4.14pmHe spent nearly an hour picking his stubble, and a shave will only cost him 30 seconds of his time.

You Wanna Be Chio?
1970-01-01 00:59:59
Link.I Want To Be Chio is about make-up, reviewed by a beauty editor of a local magazine. This is the American cosmetics giant's answer to the upcoming Chinese New Year. New Nutritious! It's supposed to be meant for Asian women (we've heard that one before) and it's based on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).It's not surprising to constantly have new offerings coming from this brand, but what is intriguing is the company's move to target an Asian customer - and a younger one at that. I love the bottles. They are very cheena and it's good to embrace my yellow roots. It's tempting to try something from this range. It's price point isn't too bad at $39 to $82. And for Estee Lauder, that's affordable. Perhaps I'll go out tomorrow and buy the item that's $39.Better yet, they've been advertising to give away free samples. I'll go for that first. I'm only human. And Singaporean.
