According to that all knowing all telling resource, the wikipedia, the term comes from one of Freuds theories:

And that’s cool. I’m telling you about it now! Or rather, I’m giving you a link to go see where it started and a small summary…basically, list and tag 5 bloggers that you read that make you think. Sounds simple doesn’t it? Well it isn’t. For two reasons.
Firstly, this blogiverse aint quite so big as you’d think. People seem to gather in groups. Like at high school really! Well folks, I’ve decided to not only bring back feel good friday, but encourage you all to do so aswell! I’m going to add another page to my site, yes I know, I have quite a few of them already, but you know what, this is my place, my way and thats how I like it!!
Will let you know when it is up. In the meantime, here is what made me feel good today:
Waking up my man’s bed, and arms. There is nothing better than waking up next someone you love. I get so many cuddles, all night long. I feel spoilt sometimes!
A new coffee I bought today. We live about 4 hours south of two fairly large coffee producers. I’d dearly love to go up and see them, take the tours and actually see all the processes I know so much about. Australian coffee is rather interesting. The aroma is almost chocolately, and the finish is delightfully smooth. This is only the second Aussie coffee I’ve tried, and I’ve yet to be disappointed. I can imagine it wouldn’t be fo

holiday snaps 2007-04-19 11:42:10 Ok, so when I said we were gone fishing, I didn’t mean literally! But we did visit one of the most beautiful areas in this wonderful country in which we live. About 3 hours drive south of here are the Whitsunday Islands. But you never need to set foot off the mainland to have a great time. The resort we stayed at was just delightful. The grounds are magnificent, the staff sensational and if your ever in the area, I would highly recommend them! Check em out here.
Anyway, here are few of the pics I took..all up there was around a hundred, but a lot of them are of Aidan, who heads back home on Sunday, so I’m taking them while I can. I want to get some more of him and Tony before they go. Ok, onto the photos!

Once again it’s time to share with the world what made me feel good..you know, cos it’s friday and all, thats why I call this feel good friday. Helps me remember which day to do it…ok I’ll just get to it shall I:
I just realised I’ve basically spent a whole week with Tony, and you know what? It’s been easy. I mean, really easy. Guess that bodes well for when I move in hey?!
Got a haircut today. Haircuts always make me feel good. But the best bit? I also found out that I can get my hair colored like last time for about a third of the price…sweet! Booked in for next week. Still deciding what colors to go. Tony wants me to go blonde…or red. I’m not convinced. Perhaps I should ask you guys..about time I had a new poll anyway right?
Made anzac bikkies today. And they totally rocked. Bloody yummo. Not sure if they’ll last the night though…**LMFAO Tony just read this as I was typing it and he’s now in the bikki

Firstly, let me explain the whole theme change. It’s because of two things really. I was in the mood after doing smummy’s for her, and secondly it seems that my life has stalled of late and I wanted to shake things up a bit! Seems that debambam.net has become a reflection of what is happening with me, and Zoe, and just life in general. I want things to change, so one way to remind myself of that is to change how things looks around here. It’s a daily reminder that somethings gotta give. It inspires me to get off my ass and MAKE the changes rather than waiting for them to come to me. I’m sure I’ll keep customising it till it’s just so..you know what I’m like. I already added my own background and that header is next to go. I’m thinking the pink may be replaced

Now, tell me something. Did that coffee you just spit everywhere travel through the intestine of some exotic sounding animal? If not, apparently your missing out!
Now we are all aware of just how much I love my coffee, but even I would probably draw the line here. Notice I said probably. My main objection isn’t so much the idea of trying the coffee, but of paying that much for 1 bloody cup! It had better be worth it for me to drive up that god awful road and THEN spend more money than I do on a pair of shoes. And chances are it probably is. Perhaps I could add one of those ‘donate’ buttons to the sidebar. If YOU guys were paying for it, then it might just be worth a shot

i do apologise 2007-04-23 13:33:25 It was bought to my attention this evening that once again that totally fucked up program that is foisted upon us at every turn didn’t like the fact that the css style sheet had one SPACE not where it would like it. As a result of this one bleepin space, not only did the background picture not show up, but it also wouldn’t show the color that is put in the styling so that those who choose not to allow images wouldn’t see just a white screen. Not that much of an issue except that the bloody font is also white so what you get is basically sweet fuck all!!!
I apologise for those of you who are unfortunate enough to use said program who may have experienced difficulties over the last 24 hours in reading my blog. I should, I spose, check the layouts in IE when installing them. But I don’t. Cos I think the program sucks.

nothing 2007-04-29 14:33:08 Ok, so it’s Sunday night and I’ve noticed that I didn’t do a Feel Good Friday Post. Did you notice? Probably not, but that’s ok, I’ve only just noticed myself! Kinda stupid of me to ask you to do it and then not do one myself….but as it turns out, all the things that made me feel good on Friday weren’t postable….some things aren’t for writing about here at No Regrets….
I have so many things I want to write about at the moment. And absolutely nothing to say. So I’m going to get back to you after I do two memes that I’ll do in the next few days.
Until then, remember that once upon a time I used to write stuff that I used to like writing, and you used to like reading and I’m going to attempt to do that again. If only I can remember how.

Oh boy. I love this program. Well not so much the program and the people in the house, as the people who watch it. Its fascinating to watch those who watch. I’m a voyeur by nature, can you tell?!

The thing I find laughable is that they honestly believe they’ve seen enough of these people to make such intense statements! Some people have absolutely no clue that they are watching only what BB allows them to watch. How can you honestly form an opinion based on an hour of television each night? And that’s with adtime! Michael recently did a post containing a couple of ads that were funny as hell. I told him I’d find some funny as hell ones from Australia. This one is one of those. If you don’t find this funny, then I’ll doubt you’ll ever truly understand Australians, or their humor!
Now that you’ve seen it, you’ll have absolutely NO excuse for not knowing the tone of voice I’m using when I -or any other aussie for that matter - write NOT.HAPPY.JAN Apparently the window not opening wasn’t part of the plan, it just happened..made it better I think, don’t you?!
It’s an aussie classic. This phrase should be incorporated along with mateship in the preamble to the Australian Constitution to portray how as individuals, and a nation, we express our displeasure…..

I mean there is no logical reason why you can’t do the tango, or the washing, just because your head hurts right? In fact I’ve heard that sometimes those activities can be a slight relief
I get headaches a bit. Sometimes it’s my eyes, sometimes it’s stress, sometimes it’s my daughter! I get bad ‘girly’ pains too. I know, too much info but in case you haven’t noticed - I’M A GIRL! It happens. However I don’t do things by halves, so my head usually thumps, or I’m wishing I was dying in bed before I head towards the drugs.
Nurofen Plus is ideal. It’s quick, safe, effective and doesn’t make me all sleepy like some of the stronger pain relief available. I hate that. I got too many good fun things to be doing to be worrying about sleeping a lot. Like the tango. Or washing

Ok, you all done seeing what this is about? If not then you’ll have no bloody idea what I’m on about will you?!! Basically I gotta tell you about some of my goals. The big ones. Not just the ‘take the washing off the line’ kind. The motherload…so here we go:
Get a job - ok, technically I s’pose with that phone call I received today I have one, but I’ve yet to start so I’m including it. Besides, at the time that Vic tagged me I didn’t and it was my first goal! Now to most of you this won’t be a big thing. But for me it is. You see in September last year I arrived on smummy’s doorstep with nothing but Zoe and a couple of suitcases. I am literally starting again. Right down to buying winter woolies, not that you really need them up here, but you know what I mean. I had clothes for one se
the bubbly is on me! 2007-04-30 06:35:12 Someone in this town has finally found their intelligence and offered me a job!! The owner of a few local Subway stores is the lucky lady who now has my fantastic services at her disposal. It’s actually ideal. Day work, still in hospitality and lotsa customer service. Being a large franchise, there are advancement opportunities and I won’t just stagnate, something that I think would happen should I have gotten into admin.
I’m so excited! I have no idea about hours, or pay rates, or anything at the moment. But I don’t care. It’s just nice to know that someone out there can see that I do indeed have a lot to offer. I gotta tell you I was beginning to wonder if I’d grown a second head and not noticed or something….
Anyway, have a drink for me, I’ll be indulging in a glass or two of the old bubbly

Ok it’s that time of week again. So here is what made me feel good today:
I had my second shift at work today. In case you missed this post, and I’m assuming that most of you did seeing as how no one but mum got excited by it and thats her job, I am now officially employed! Only training still, but I’m enjoying it, the boss is great -she loves coffee too - and thus far I’m doing ok. Having so much hospitality experience I can pretty much bluff my through anything and pick most things up pretty quickly. It’s nice to know that I am indeed employable!
Zoe’s done a new post. It’s one of the poems she did at school a little while back. I think it’s pretty good considering she’s only 6! I read it this morning again and it just made me smile…again
I’m heading to Tony’s soon. For a long weekend. Extra time with my man! The prospect of that ALWAYS makes me feel good.
