His Side: I mean…this isn’t just a gift for the guys right…its a gift for the whole family. Really…it has nothing to do with the fact that we can now watch all of the “movies” that we download online on our tv’s without a problem, right? (iTunes can convert some files into the necessary format if they are .mov - for other conversions and dvd ripping, I recommend Roxio Toast for mac - or their new platform for Microsoft Vista…it might cost a bit, but it will pay for itself in no time, trust me.)
How it works: its actually pretty simple. The appletv unit just connects wirelessly with your computer when you boot up itunes, syncs your media files, and then with an HD connection to your tv and a user-friendly interface (see pic above and follow link), you go to town watching all of your “media”.
Downside: Uhm, I am really not sure there is one. The only problem I see is…a 40GB hard drive sounds like a lot t

His Side: Ok, this puppy is cool. It changes color on the hour, every hour (12 total colors). The light can be turned off for sleeping, but is touch sensitive and turns back on when you tap it to check the time. The alarm and clock are kind of secondary to the whole ambience thing it has going on…not very usual for an alarm clock. Hopefully it is as durable to drop-kicking as clocky is…otherwise it probably wont last too long <looks pointedly at the gf>

Her Side: okay… minus the fact that the dress is matched with hideous shoes in the center picture… this dress is the perfection of spring tea parties and yummy crumpets. Look at the piping along the edges, and the detailing of it (every girl needs a bow in the back - so Alice-in-Wonderland - esque)!
Side note: Match this dress with a cute pair of flats or even some wedges; Throw on a snazy headband (plastic or of the scarf-variety), and match it up with some of the fabulous spring time earrings that i’m infatuated with from Polkadot Thunder (see previous post)
