Our Weekend

What an awesome weekend! It went by way too quickly! We went to the coast to ride the quads with my parents. Yesterday was kind of overcast, pretty windy, but dry. Overnight it poured!!! Nonstop, all night long! We basically figured we wouldn't be riding today. We opened the curtains on the motorhome and lo and behold, blue sky! We got ready, went out and went on an awesome ride! We even shed our jackets, yeah, it was that warm and non-windy. Of course, Craig and I had to leave to come back home. Work will be beckoning us tomorrow. The Princesses stayed with my parents and will come back home tomorrow. Oh and because I'm a dork, there's no pictures. Forgot the camera. :(

Oh man, I keep putting it off. Now I know why. I hate trying to stretch the money to pay the bills. Phew! I thought we were horribly bad off. But, I just realized that our bank's online thingy is somewhat screwed up. It's missing a bunch of stuff. Don't know what's up with that, but I have the bank statements so I have to balance the account by hand, I can't export/import it from the website. Oh the horrors!!! LOL Sure is easy to get dependent on technology.

I forgot to post that earlier this week we got Oldest Princess's progress report. Straight A's again. Silly thing was insistent that we go to teacher conferences to find out if there's anything she needs to work on. Her dad and I assured her that if there was, she wouldn't have straight A's. We're so proud of her!

My Youngest Princess cracks me up! We were driving with my dad today and Youngest puts her sweater over her head and says, "I'm Mary!". She then said, "Poppa, you're Joseph! Daddy, you're Baby Jesus. KayKay (Oldest Princess), you can be the donkey." I lost it right then and there. I was rolling! Then Craig asked her, "What does Mommy get to be?" She said, "Nothing." But she soon changed her mind and said I get to be the angel. Very fitting, I would say. ;)

Well, I'm still not feeling 100% but it's such a gorgeous day outside, I mowed the lawn and I cut down some branches on the tree overhanging the driveway. I now have the wobbly leg syndrome. LOL You know where you swear your legs are made of Jell-O? Most activity I've done since Monday! LOL

Anniversary That Came and Went

I realized recently that February 21 had come and gone. I also realized that I didn't think of the child that was due on that date in 2000. I got through that miscarriage milestone for the first time in 7 years without it bothering me. I'm assuming a lot of it is due to the medicine I've been on. I hope I can get through July 12 as easily. That always hits me a bit harder anyway. July 12 was the day I was told by the doctor (not my doctor, btw) that the pregnancy wasn't viable. I then proceeded to go another 10 days before I actually passed the baby. In those 10 days I was on the phone with the OB's office and my GP trying to get them to test my HCG numbers again. Neither would do it. I was still convinced they were wrong. I was still feeling the pregnancy symptoms. 10 days later, I was finally convinced. *sigh*

As I was getting out of my mom's van, my foot got caught up in my purse strap. I tripped and rammed my thumb into the door. I peeled my thumbnail back about quarterway, you can see the crease in my nail polish lol. It hurt like the dickens! Then it started bleeding. I was actually surprised by the lack of blood. I thought it would have been more, but anyway, it's tender and of course I'm hitting it on everything. LOL

Well, I thought Spring
had arrived here, but now looking at weather.com, we're in for rain and in the 50's for at least the next 10 days. Oh joy. I bought some plants on Sunday and I found a Bleeding Heart at Wal-mart yesterday. Hopefully at some time this week there will be some time (and lack of rain showers) that I can get them in the ground.The Princesses and I also picked out some seeds to start in the garden. Trouble is, my garden area is a garden of weeds at the moment. That's another thing that needs to be done when the weather cooperates. Hopefully soon!

Strep Throat

I have strep. Again. I still don't know how I got it. The Princesses aren't sick. I hope I don't share it though. My throat is finally feeling pretty ok today. Finally. When the doctor took the throat culture, she says....."Wow, that is one red and irritated throat, but I guess I don't have to tell you that though." LOL I said, "Yep!"
