Some Stuff 2007-03-26 10:21:14 Yesterday was a pretty blah day. I slept pretty late and was actually still tired. Greg and I washed laundry, it was well overdue, and I cooked. I have to work this evening so I probably won’t do much today either. I believe my books have arrived from Penn Foster, I got a package slip from the mail carrier. I can’t wait to see what is said about my slug problem this time. I got my vacuum back from my neighbors a day and 5hrs later. The brush is missing, they got it, they were supposed to bring it 6hrs ago. Never again will I lend. I’m off to paint my toes since I may wear flip flops to work. The weather’s been pretty hot, 80 degrees hot .

House Painting 2007-03-26 09:49:50 I’m a sucker when it comes to HousePainting
. As soon as I found out that we were allowed to paint the walls at our current place, I went on planning what I was gonna paint and in what color. We ended up finding a nice brown tint of oops paint, oops paint is basically incorrectly mixed paint. We painted 2 of the living room walls and stopped there. I did want to paint the bedroom but I didn’t want to make the place too much like “home” since we’re moving in July. If we’re allowed to paint at the next place, I may get a little out of hand depending on how much I like the property and the atmosphere. If it turns out to be another party zone, then I’ll have zero motivation.

Sometimes life gets boring, so I have no motivation to talk about it. Money is motivation hence all the sponsored posts. Things are so so, we’re apartment/house hunting. Hopefully tomorrow we’ll get to view a few places. I hope one of them suits us, I really like their prices and there’s no extra pet fees! I was recommended by a guy who used to rent from them, I think it’s best to find a place sometimes by recommendation rather than ads because places that are publicized are open to college students. All of these rentals out here are competing, so they over advertise. If everybody knows about them, then most likely the area won’t be quiet, reason why I’m not quick to jump on anything advertised in the paper…

Tulips Mmmm 2007-03-30 08:31:10 I’m really high on tulips right now. I love the ones that I planted *points to flickr pictures*. Flowers look so beautiful on camera. This weekend I may get some more tulips, maybe daffodils. First the bills must be paid in advance before I spend any money that was made online. I’m in need of some eye candy. I want to get out and explore the country and of course take pictures. I wish I lived right on top of a pond or something naturistic. Around here it isn’t hard to find something of the like, but it would be more convenient if we lived right on top nature’s beauty.

Dooty Dooty Dooo 2007-04-01 02:27:54 I stayed up entirely too late working on online stuff. I believe I went to bed around 7am and here I am at 7pm just crawling out of the bed. It doesn’t help that it’s been raining, although I love rain. It always seems that I sleep much longer than Greg. He’s always up before me. I get too much sleep, I guess. But sometimes my body still feels like jelly. I gotta get my sleeping back on track, it may take few days.
The 1 bedroom I gave up on. Yesterday it rained so I didn’t bother calling dude back, since he thought it would be better to view it when it wasn’t raining and because we can find more bedrooms for that price. The 2 places that we were scheduled to view on Monday, we had to reschedule to see on Wednesday because something came up at the office. The suspense is killing me. Mold In Trash Can? 2007-04-03 10:25:41 Not too long ago I was gathering the garbage from upstairs and found mold in the bathroom trash can. The trash was wet and so was the floor. We keep the can under the sink. Well, good thing we don’t have a mold problem. No need for PA Mold Managers. Turns out we have a leaky sink, isn’t that just great? I have to worry about maintenance and their disregard to privacy once more. It’s getting to the point where I don’t even want to make any complaints because I don’t want them in here. I’m being turned off at renting period. Knowing the fact that landlords and staff have keys to enter at any time does not sit well with me, but we have to deal with it for the time being. House Hunting 2007-04-05 00:22:21 We saw one house today. We also made an appointment to see two more. The house that we saw today, I thought it was cute when we drove by it days ago. It had a carport and a large backyard, but no fence. Now, to the inside. It smelled like HOT a** basement! I cannot put it any other way than that. The whole house smelled like that. The reason for that is because of the basement, it had a few moist spots here a there. The entrance to it was so weird. At first I thought it was a pantry. The door was like 5.6ft x 2.5ft, so we had to kinda be careful walking down there as it was so narrow. The basement was a nice size, it was def a basement, unfinished and moist. The kitchen was cute but seriously outdated, like 1950’s outdated. The kitchen will be renovated before August, new cabinets, floors and sink, etc. The thing that I did like, was that it had a window over the sink that looks out into the backyard.
