voting system and how it affects your website popularity. Ok, how the voting system works when someone places a link to your site on their site Google sees it as them voting for your website. So someone voted for your site this means that the Google-bots then think ok this site is important enough to have another site linking to it. Next step the Google-bots checks to see what the ranking is of the website and if it is not at least 4 of 10 then the incoming link will more than likely not count for you in a sense. What does this mean?
The reason behind this is that Google is trying to provide quality content sites that have more exposure by using this page ranking system to only allow sites with relevant quality content for the output of Google searches.

today was pretty exciting I must say maybe you could say a once and a life time experience being able to cruise above the countries of Belgium
and France
at a speed of 150 miles per hour (top speed 218) and around 1000 feet altitude.
I do not want to mislead you here this is not the normal war fighting Blackhawk it has been modified in the inside to take VIPs to different locations so I was riding in the comfort of leather seating and at arrival in Paris France I had a nice cappuccino and then we were on our way back to work.

Popularity Contest Plugin for WordPress 2007-03-19 17:05:56
This a plugin that I had not gotten around to installing to my selection of best plugins and a reader this weekend recommended that I should get it installed download it here. The PopularityContest
plugin is just like many other Wordpress plugins was extremely easy to install and activate. The problem I then faced was that I wanted a top posts page at the top of my blog and the plugin does not come with any page templates. So what I did at the end of day after many hours of trying to figure this mess out. I used the page_archives.php file and edited it with the necessary code that the popularity contest plug-in needed to display on the page template (Top Posts).
This plugin will help you see which of your posts are most popular. Views, comments, etc. are tracked and given configurable point values to determine popularity and then can be displayed on your sidebar or a archive page.

Safari Park – Monde Sauvage Belgium 2007-03-17 19:25:45 Today my family and I went to a safari park for my daughter Layla’s fourth birthday celebration. The family included; Nan, Granddad, Great Grand Mom, Tate (son), myself and Kelly (wife). Monde Sauvage safari park was a complete success for the family with the exception of the weather but that is an expected in the country of Belgium

When making my way through the safari drive I was excepting lions, tigers and bears to be right along side our Landover but this was not the case. I know that I have been on the subject of increasing RSS & Readers the last few articles but I feel it is an important area of successful blogging. So today I figured that I would post one more article this week on my top 10 methods that I feel are the most valuable for getting your RSS & Reader increase on. You have to be persistence after you start your blog you can not just set back and expect traffic to just flow in because you are posting articles.
Write effective post titles (opening line) that cause your readers to feel need to read your entire post.

Increase Your RSS Feed Subscriptions 2007-03-26 15:19:19 The question is how to get people to subscribe to your RSS feed? It’s an excellent question and actually one that I am still working on my self. Just a quick observation of the blogs in comparison to mine that are around two months old I feel that the amount of subscriptions are going quite well so far but I want to increase them past the sky. The first thing you should ask yourself is do you have content that is actually worth subscribing to because if not why would you even expect someone to subscribe to it and want to read it.

Netgear SPH200D Cordless Phone with Skype 2007-03-29 11:30:47 Anytime I buy something that I am excited about or really believe in I will be posting an article about it. Anyway last week we disconnected our home phone because we were sick of paying the Belagcom Phone Company that like to take all of your money so now we just pay them for the internet access, which is still high - 43 euros! ($58).
Remember the XPS 1210 that I purchased around a month ago well I love it and it came with some free minutes on Skype
so I signed up of course and that is what lead me to canceling my home phone line. What’s great about Skype is you can call other people with Skype for free anywhere in the world and if you want to call a landline or mobile just add credit to your account in 10 (currency) increments.

How is this possible by going to the DNS control panel of your domain manager you are able to setup a CNAMES (Aliases) record that points to the hosting of choice. So we then pointed our domain http://www.jakeldaily.com to the Blogger free hosting and changed the settings in the Blogger control panel to point to our domain name.

Report A Site Problem - Giving Credit 2007-04-04 08:43:31 Yesterday I was emailed from my contact form “report a site problem” from Adam the editor of TheAdambox and Blogbait. He reported this problem after reviewing my site for the review linkback promotion.

I would highly recommend getting rid of payperpost, I was going to comment on a few of you posts, but gave up since it took about 30-60 seconds for payperpost to finally reply while trying to bring up your site. Many others such as JohnChow will not use it because of the same issue. I have DSL and it is definitely payperpost that is slow.
If there are any site problems you are aware of or things that you would like to see made better then just email me and I will definitely give you credit if I use your recommendations.
I have already noticed that when I use AuctionAds’ javascript in my main index it also makes the site load slower and that is why I have changed to Chitika ads.

Quailty vs Quantity Blog Posting 2007-04-05 11:00:22 It seems that many people get caught up in the idea that the more they post the more money they will earn. This is not true at all and is actually far from it! It is common to think but there are many factors besides the quantity you post and the truth is there is really no correct answer to this question. As with most things in life it’s just one man’s/women’s matter of opinion on that particularly subject.
Ok obviously the larger your blog is the more chances you have at making more money. With that in mind say you are posting 5 to 10 articles a day and still no money in your pocket. What do you think the problem is then? Really simple right; no one is clicking, buying or even asking for paid reviews from your site.
But you are posting mega tons to your thriving blog! I’m willing to bet your dad’s chicken that it is more than likely mega crap you are posting with bad ad placement and people are coming and then leaving within seconds, never to return again.
