Pavement Garden 2008-07-24 03:06:27 This is a Yambol cobblestoned street which has a paved walkway on the side. The owner of the house where it runs by decided to dig up all the paving stones and set up a growing area for more vegetables. A Small Vilton Supermarket 2008-07-24 02:58:33 This is a Bulgarian Vilton supermarket only built tow years ago. It's only a smallish one and other massive supermarkets have been built locally taking away many local Yambol customers. If we have to go to a supermarket we use this because it is small and on the way back from work. Yambol Market 2008-07-21 04:50:24 This the the lower end market by the bus station. It was caught very early in the morning today so not fully manned. There is all local produce sold there most from small holding in Yambol and the local villages. some of the out of season food os driven up from Turkey or Greece, only a couple of hours drive from the south.

They must haved been two metres tall and planted by the aprtment block dwellers. They also find a space for flower and produce no matter where they live, this time in a public block of grass. The ill-fitted drain and huge potholes are all part of the unique character of these roads. They aren't new but well used, looked after and respected. they look new because they had just been recently painted.
