THE NIGHT THEY ALL PANICKED 2007-04-01 19:34:00 A few years ago on a Friday night; my phone rang. I had no idea what the call was going to be about and that it was a call for my faith. On the other end of the line was someone that I know very well and love. It was a distress call. Someone that we knew very well was very sick. So sick according to the doctors; that their only chance of survival would occur if they were rushed into emergency surgery. The doctors said that the patient would probably not survive the surgery and if they (the patient) did; they would be a vegetable.The person on the other end of the phone (a true believer) was in tears. However, I was stumped just a few weeks ago when they said on the news that it was breaking news that researchers had found the tombs in which Jesus and his "wife" were buried in. Jesus rose! I screamed to my husband. He's not in any tomb. They've gone too far now. I continued on: "Jesus didn't have a wife. We both know that." Well, pretty soon all eyes were fixed on the screen and they brought out these two "little boxes: that appeared to be somewhere between two feet and four feet long. We started laughing and I guess everyone else did too because we never heard anything else about it. It was so ridiculous that the whole matter was dropped.WORD TO THE WISE: 1. It was six a.m., as I drove slowly past the parking lot where my prayer brother (who's like a son to me); Brother Jerry parks his truck. I looked to my left to see if it was there. It was there. Frustrated; that's when I decided to use. Use my faith that is.I called the devil every name in the book. The bible. You are a liar, you're a thief! But not today will you be stealing anything! Brother Jerry will be at prayer TODAY! He won't be too sleepy or too tired to get up and cover the earth with prayer and to pray for himself, his family, his friends and strangers.
