I will put more pictures later, but I just want to say that, the new kitty is here! So tiny (barely a pound), he still scares the shit out of a 20lbs cat. That’s right, Bosco growls and runs away every time he gets too close! It’s pretty funny to watch actually. I set up a nice little bed for him, Shawn built a nice mini litter box out of cardboard, and I bought the Iams kitty food. He is all set! Sleeping right now next to me. I am still not sure how to name him so, please got to my “current poll” page and vote! You can suggest a name too! Later,

Yeah, I have way too many things to put on my sidebar to only have one. SO I am opting for the double side bars. I am still having a little trouble figuring out the CSS codes. It should be simple enough but I have been trying to change the font of my title upthere for 30 minutes and I just can’t find anywhere how to change it. I have changed all the rest but this one just won’t do it. I will design my own header and banners soon, well when I can find a minute for myself, so it will solve that part of the puzzle. There are many things I have yet to post on here, but my coworker is in Punta Cana for 2 weeks and I have double the work. argghhh Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeelp!

Say hello to my new Kitty! Now he isn’t home with us yet since he is only one month old, but in about 3 weeks he will be living with us. Stephane’s cat had 5 kitties so I decided to get one So Bosco isn’t so alone when we will be always gone this summer. No name yet, that will come once he is home with us and we can see his attitude. I truly hope he is not as big as Bosco. But looking at Steph’s cat, he won’t be… Speaking of Big Bosco here is a pitcure of him, hopefully he is as relaxed once the new kitty is moved in.

OK First, I never believed in those “grand-mother remedy” like put butter on a burn or drink water upside down to get rid of hick-up and such. Most of it is silly and ignorant. But I have to say, I was shocked this week to find one that actually works. I had a throat infection on Monday/Tuesday. Usually you need anti-biotic to get rid of that. I’ve had them often as a kid, my throat has always been weak you know. Yeah, I still have my tonsils too. Anyway, anti-biotic works in such ways on a woman’s body that most of the time the infection you try to get rid of will start… somewhere else. I just plain hate that. I mean EVERY single time I was prescribed an anti-biotic it would happen, so, if I can manage without it, I will. I won’t let myself get miserable of course but I rather not use the medicine you know? So. The import from blogger is complete. I like Wordpress a lot, although I don’t understand everything yet, I am sure I will be able to personalise the template once I buy the CSS code for it. All I want it to change the fonts really. Maybe the brown background too. I haven’t figured out how to post my Paypal donation button yet, so if someone can help me with that I’d appreciated it! Now, I need to get it out there. I changed most of my links to websites I remembered, but I need to get my pagerank back up fast. Payperpost won’t let my submit a second blog until I have 10 post approved, and I have 9 since the last one was rejected. That one is a frustrating story really since I had a page rank of 4, I submitted a post worth 20$, and it took them 9 days to even look at it, and during that 9 days my pagerank went down to a 3, so they rejected it. *sigh* Now that I have imported to Wordpress, I don’t really want to post anything on my blogger one as I wish

Thanks to mother nature, today Montreal is getting a shitload of snow. I heard that expression somewhere, “shitload” and I like using it, although I am not sure why it was used in the first place. I understand that when we say “shitload” we in fact want to image the proportion to a big amount. Let me see with a couple of online dictionaries…  This one isn’t so help full… Ok that will do…  So it DOES refer to a large amount of… whatever. OK Now I am sure… lol You English people and your weird expressions! Anyhow, about a foot of snow in total for the day. Shawn did a special Episode of the Snow day on his blog, go check it out. I am getting to know Wordpress. I can’t change the template as much as I thought I could, like change the fonts and colors. The template I chose has everything I like, except the brown background. Oh well… no big deal. There is another one, green with a girl on top, really nice as well, but I can’t stand the arial font so… just too bad. Let me know what you think!

Time for Changes

OK people, this is it. Joshua convinced me right here to switch my blog to a different domain. I like blogger, but it doesn’t give me the advantages that Wordpress can give me. The process of importing won’t be too painful, hopefully, and I hope I won’t lose any data. Keep you fingers crossed! I will keep you informed with my new address and I will keep blogger as a redirecting link for a while. I will probably buy my domain too, I’ll see how much that can cost. I plan on changing my “new” blog a bit, but the content will remain ME. As I was labeling my older posts the other day I came to realize that I used to put some pretty interesting post together. lol My promotion at work and a lot less computer time changed everything. I don’t read the newspapers much anymore and just have no time to process any thought about daily random news or situation like I used to. I will try to “reinvent” my classroom a bit and keep you guys intereste

Yeah I ate at McDs for lunch. Now that I think about it, I should have taken a picture. I opened the wrapper and what do I find? Not a quarter pounder with cheese, but a cheesy meat pancake. The thing was barely an inch high. One tiny pickle and one drop of ketchup. McDonald’s to it’s finest. Damn.  So, I’m still hungry. Anyway. If you look to the right sidebar, you can see I have added the ”top posts” feature. It’s a great feature from Wordpress that Blogger doesn’t have. It features the most popular posts I wrote. It allowed me to go back to some things I’ve wrote and I have to say, from time to time, I do write some good shit. haha. Seriously I revisited the “Bitter Old Man” and “All I can Do” posts today. I can’t believe I didn’t even post for a week! lol I am tired and out of juice. That’s a French expression, don’t know if it translates at all. It just means I have no energy left in me. I just asked my boss to have the week of the 9 of vacations and she said yes so I hope to relax and recuperate then. ———- I went to see the movie 300 like I said I was going to, and it’s awesome. Loved everything, all the violence, the story of glory and honor, the  fights scenes, the production. It’s great. I know you miss me. Don’t even try to deny it My apologies for not keeping you informed of my daily routine. I was on vacations last week and all I did was sleep and eat. lol  I feel rested. And 10 pounds heavier. lol kiddin’ I will now give you a little update just so you don’t die of desperation, I mean I understand that some of you can’t live without knowing what happens in my life. Looking at my stats I can see that I have at least 23 people still interested anyway. heh Now, it will be a little harder for me to update as I am super busy at work and Shawn managed to again get screwed by life. I wasn’t going to talk about the shooting in Virginia, but I guess I have things to say after all. I read a couple blogs about it and feel I should let people know the true about gun laws. No matter what the laws are, anyone can get a gun, anywhere. That’s just reality. Blaming the government and gun laws and blablablabla won’t make any difference. Why do I think that? Well we, in Canada, have fairly good and strict laws and regulations about guns. Or so we thought. Last September a young man legally bought guns, went to school, Dawson University, and started shooting. I wrote a post about it: Rainy, Cloudy, Sad and a post about our laws: Want a gun?. Strict laws would cut down a few people with loose screws to own a gun, but in the end, the weapon market, legal or illegal, is so important financially between countries that it’s not even worth it to try and reduce the availability to people. Nature is finally waking up! Woohoo! Last Tuesday was the warmest it’s ever been in Montreal for April, beating the last record of 1957. Two record were renewed in April so far, one is the most snow and one is the warmest temperature. How messed up is that? ———- The kitten I think I am going to call the kitten Diablo. Yeah I know. Spring officially started a month ago or so but here in Montreal, spring is really starting to show in May. No more snow, trees are starting to show some colors, it’s sunny, warmer&hellip ;. you get it.  Is it just me or as I get older, the seasons, or even, time in general just flies by? I need to slow my life down a bit. The thing is I am not even doing half the things some people do on a daily basis. Something I need to fix. Take my time and put it where it counts. For example, I want to paint more, and I really want to start sewing (I think that’s the right spelling). I know. Strange. I always wanted to make my own clothes. I know how, I just need a good sewing machine! I have been wanting a machine for at least 10 years. It’s a bit expensive so although I kept asking my mom for it for my Birthday or Christmas, I never got it. A Singer sewing machine would do. Like this one. But you know, it’s not in my immediate expenses. It’s waaaaay d

Yesterday was chaos. Shawn and I reached a peek of frustration about… everything. After writing my post, a show of support from the sweetest Renegade I know, going home with a huge Italian poutine and a bottle of red wine, I felt much better. So OK. Shawn and I have been pretty much in a bad mood all week. To an extant where we are actually starting to argue on some shit with one another and play the blame game and all. WE shouldn’t be arguing. So I am just going to rant it all out. Fuck it. First, I have to explain to the non-drum corps people that Drum Corps is more than a hobby. It’s a part of you, it’s music performance to a whole other level. Drum corps performers live and share something few regular folks will ever live. I won’t explain in details for lack of time here, but, long story short, we are a close community of people. We care for each other, we help one another, we understand each other. Lies and Deceptions, and Drum Corps News

Part 1, lies and deceptions. Thanks to all the people that showed an interest in Shawn’s situation. Putting it out there finally gave some sort of results, meaning I now have a couple names to direct my anger towards, so the rest of the world is now safe. The thing is, the version I get from them isn’t really FROM them. It’s from an outside mutual friend, so sometimes explanations get lost in translation. There are so many things that don’t even make sens with Shawn’s side of the story. They built up a pretty good story that makes them “good guys” of course. So… I wrote 2 posts today. About that Harrisburg situation. Got a comment from that “still.playing” guy again. I was going to go even further. I tried to reply to him privately with that email that looked fake, but I get no response so I guess he doesn’t care or it’s really just a fake. Anyhow. Then, tonight, I watched So you think you Can Dance? and realized how fucked up everybody is on this planet, and trying to understand a certain behavior when you don’t even know half of what is really going on is simply not worth it. I was watching all of these complete delusional people who had the strongest beliefs in their dancing skills and… well I have no fucking clue where I am going with this except that I am done thinking about that situation. So I deleted it all. Well, today’s posts anyway. It’s unfortunate, it’s sad, it sucks. But I wasn’t around, and even though I am trying to help Shawn, this isn’t helping me.
