Halftone Effects… 2006-10-28 03:08:21 Playing around with my Image Composer software. I applied a dot halftone effect using contrast of 5, transparency 100%, and aperture size of 1 to the photo on the left.
I have been using this graphics software for a long time… I simply love it. I have not tried all of the effects yet– because I have had no real need. Some of these effects could make me look like a professional graphic artist. What do you think?

Her Crap Stinks 2006-10-27 12:17:04 Okay, it looks like an “entity” wanted me to find all the secrets about friends and family so the “entity” could use me without concern that friends and family would scream on my behave.
What I do not understand is why I feel there are many that have secrets with their hands in my face claiming I did something to them. It is one thing for family [Aunt J & BA] to threaten me if I tell. I did not know your awful secrets. It is another thing when it appears they try to lie on me and pretend I did something to them.
Who benefits from all of this? It is not me. I do not believe it is family and friends. I believe that if you did not have secrets before this began you did something that made you a non-threat to the “entity” after it began.
There should be nothing and no one benefiting from what has been done to me. Go find someone with a secret. I do not owe criminals, thieves, whores and filth.

Switchover Games 2006-11-04 14:22:01 Yesterday evening I moved qisoftware.com. Google decided to provide $.79 to my account within the time frame of the initial switchover. According to Google I rarely receive clicks. It looks like a game. I have basically stopped promoting the site other than a few emails to specific individuals.
Why would this show up? A game of cat and mouse– however Google is bound by fraud laws. This appears to suggest Google did not adjust correctly because of the switchover. I know better. They could have easily erased the data provided to me this morning before I saw it. I have filed the complaint FBI– fraud. The problem– underreporting impressions.
I am not here to allow no class leeches to be rewarded for my hard work. No one has the right to use my life in this manner and I said no. I am staying the course– direct business for the software consultancy and hosting services. I am not actively seeking ads nor a wider audience. This appears to benefit someone o Read more:Games
Paying Filth? 2006-11-04 17:34:44 When my parents purchased their second Maryland [brand new] home a young childless couple moved into a brand new home next door. The couple was about my age. When my parents first moved into the second home– only my sister and brother moved with them. I lived in Virginia.
Let me stop here and preface this post with relative information. I believe that anyone coming into contact with members of my [immediate] family have issues. We do not [at least we didn’t– not sure what now motivates my sister and brother] have issues as a family– however it appears that people who are asked to engage us on a more personal level may have issues. In the case of my parents’ next door neighbors– it looks like his bottom [bend over– ouch-less]. Let’s call the wife, Les. They moved awhile back.
They were not a particularly attractive couple, a bit loud, no education, and it seemed always at my parents– even when relatives were in town. The wife
QiSoftware Domains Migrated 2006-11-05 20:12:29 Over the past two weeks I moved Hosting-Q and QiSoftware. This included two WordPress databases and the underlying phpBB database associated with the forums. There were very few glitches.
I decided not to port the comments for Q’s Wire– a WordPress blog. Why? It appears that even when comments are deleted– remnants of the data remain in the database and there were simply to many “bad” words. There were very few comments in the first place. A simple php hack can be written to omit comments flagged as deleted, however in my case it was not necessary.

Minor Glitches- Java Server Side Support 2006-11-06 12:54:46 Hosting-Q and QiSoftware are experiencing minor problems with Java server side support.
Quite frankly after the migration to another server and everything appeared to be working– I was a bit surprised. These problems were expected and are being worked.

IP 201. Denied Access 2006-11-06 15:48:35 Right before I switched qisoftware.com to the new server I had a lot of unique visitors to Q’s Wire from IP addresses starting with 201. The hits were in the form of spam comments. I have denied access to this block of addresses for the foreseeable future.
I take measures like this because of problems I experienced with Lunar-Pages– my first web host. I am not concerned about getting traffic. I am concerned about potential clients being able to reference my working sites. This includes the many Java tools I incorporate in my pages.
The timing of the problems I started having with this IP range [201.] is not lost on me. I had already started moving qisoftware.com to the new server. However, I tend to err on the side of caution and as I have already indicated– all blocks that were previously in force will remain in force for the foreseeable future.

Doings… Nov. 5 - Nov. 9, "06 2006-11-09 14:09:34 I made chops, cabbage, yams, and cornbread yesterday. It was great. I also walked 6.2 miles. I try to walk 8 miles a day but lately it has been kind of warm, so I quit early yesterday morning. I did the entire 4 miles last night.
Lately I have been eating a lot of foods with potassium. I am not sure if this is why I am a bit tired or something else. Maybe not getting enough vitamins.
Also working on my sites, Hosting-Q & QiSoftware. I seem to be getting a lot of spam in all areas. I had blog ping lists that were extensive. I cut the lists drastically. Hoping this will stop a lot of the spam. Not sure what I can do about the forums.
Also working on a problem with a cgi program. I am trying to prevent external access to the program. I thought this would be a lot easier than it is. The cgi system program is ignoring .htaccess directives and server side includes (SSI). Have a couple of more ideas that I will try before giving up.

El Paso… 2006-11-11 22:32:22 My father’s parents were from El Paso, TX. My father’s mother died when we were in England. I do not remember my real grandfather though I have been told I met him. My real grandfather’s name was Oveil– [similar to Oval office] and is my father’s older brother’s name also. My step-grandfather died in the mid 80’s. I do remember him. His name was Lewis D. Martin. Local Jurisdictions… You Don't Get It… 2006-11-12 00:06:35 I have often said in the Why Me? Search– I now get Crystal City and Rockwell. I feel that too many local people [politicians, law enforcement, etc.] think this is more about them than it really is. I was with Rockwell for ten years. Crystal City is part of Arlington, VA and only a moment away from the Pentagon.
When my father died– my boss John Winston called me into his office when I returned to work. My father was buried at a local military cemetery. John Winston asked if my father had guns or jets during his funeral. I explained guns. Just then looking out of his [John’s] office window I saw military jets flying formation. Hands… 2006-11-11 23:23:52 Aunt J has beautiful hands… not as pretty as Barbra Streisand’s but almost. Long slender fingers. My father had large hands. Bill Cosby hands are smaller. My brother’s hands are on the smallish side compared to my father’s.

Hush… She May Get It… 2006-11-11 23:04:17 Members of my mother’s family have often made me think I stepped into the middle of a conversation that I did not have the full meaning of. Once when we were in Wilmington, there was a large ruckus because the man I thought was my mother’s father took my brother somewhere.
I never knew what this was about. When we were kids we never went anywhere without my parents when were in Wilmington. I thought the ruckus was because my grandfather on occasion drank. I am not so sure today.
It also appears that there is the problem of kids raising babies [Wilmington].
Another incident– I thought Sondra my cousin via my mother’s older sister had to get married because someone put a gun to her head. I literally thought this is what happened. When I tried to clarify what I had overheard, I was not allowed to know. She looks to be only 3 or 4 years older than me.
