Another Reason To Love Apple 1970-01-01 00:59:59 I recently purchased an older iBook off eBay because 1.) We needed a laptop and I pretty much refuse to buy another Windows machine now and 2.) I am cheap and I didn't want to drop a couple grand for a macBook. It has been great a great little machine. In many ways it is faster and nicer than my PC which I built no too long ago. Wii?? 1970-01-01 00:59:59 Nintendo has just announced the official name for the their new console. For some time now it has been referred to as the Nintendo Revolution. The company has jettisoned that name in favor of Wii
(pronounced "we"). I honestly don't know what to think about this move. I was hesitant about the new controller at first but now I can't wait to get my hands (or hand in this case) on one. I'm sure this too will grow on me. It is very different than any other console and so maybe a name like this is warranted. All I know is that I want one.Also, there are tons of rumors floating around suggesting that this may launch in July instead of November and that the price will indeed be $199.

Optimus Prime Finds His Voice 1970-01-01 00:59:59 Fanboys, transform and roll out!! On Friday, Paramount officially announced the voice of Optimus
Prime for the upcoming Transfomer film. Peter Cullen, the man who voiced Optimus for the cartoon and animated film we all know and love, will be reprising his role for the new movie. I think we can all breath a huge sigh of relief. The movie just wouldn't be the same without the distinctive voice of Prime. I am still not thrilled about the character designs that have been floating around the internets (Bumblee is a Camaro?), but I am still filled with fanboy hope and anticipation. New "Webisodes" Of The Office Now Online 1970-01-01 00:59:59 Earlier this year NBC said that they would be continuing the story of The Office's Dunder Mifflin staff in small "webisodes" that would be available for viewing on NBC's website. The first two episodes are up now and they focus on the accounting department of Kevin, Oscar, and Angela and some money that is missing from the books. Some of the other characters will make appearances but we probably won't be seeing Jim, Pam, or Michael.I love this show and I will take anything they have to offer to keep me from going crazy until next season. I had heard that Walmart had the set on sale for $19.86 - a pretty darn good deal. The only problem is that I hate going to Walmart. Assassin's Creed Confirmed For The 360 1970-01-01 00:59:59 This is on of the reasons I was thinking about holding out (and going into debt) for a PS3. I am a huge fan of the Metal Gear series and I am always excited to see what Kojima does but that can't justify me dropping 600 bucks on a system when there are other next-gen consoles at half the price out there.The only series that would be a real deal breaker for me is Final Fantasy/Kingdom Hearts. I absolutely LOVE those games and they have always been exclusive to Sony. If Square Enix could let go of that and go cross platform I would never look at the PS3 again. broadband service here at the hacienda and for the most part we love the service but we have had a small problem with our bill over the last two months. It seems that when we moved to our new house they cancelled our service at our old address and then set up service at our new address...and then started service AGAIN at our old address. Then they let that service sit there for the past three months festering and racking up a huge bill and then they decided to go ahead and transfer that amount (with fees) to our new account. So last month we got a bill for $850.00. Okay, maybe that's a little dramatical but I have been waiting for this for a long time. One of my favorite Firefox extensions is Performancing. It's a lovely little blogging client that opens up a little window in your browser and allows you to post to your blog while viewing a web page in the res of your browser. Great for research or plagiarizing copy things from news sites or other blogs. You can also save posts and add Technorati tags which is nice considering Blogger

The problem for a while has been the fact that I switched my blog from Blogger to the new Blogger Beta which has some nice new features like categories (finally) and the ability to change settings without having to republish the entire blog every time. .com will soon offer an Xbox 360 bundle for 100.00. They say that their source is reliable but I just don't see how this can be possible. However it would make sense to make a move like this before the holiday season to jumpstart interest in their console again with the upcoming launches of the PS3 and the Wii. Microsoft has a very successful product on their hands and could probably afford to offer a price cut like this. If you had a choice between a PS3 for 600 bucks or an Xbox 360 for 100 bucks which would you choose?
