Three New Designs from Busted Tees 2007-06-05 14:04:00 Busted Tees launched three new t-shirts this month all in the typical Busted Tees mentality. I personally prefer the "This Is Why I'm Hot" and "That's How I Roll" since I'm not a big fan of Full House and the third one, "Jesse and the Rippers", refers to that show. Global warming is very "hot" lately and we've seen a bunch of t-shirts about that issue, but still this Busted t-shirt is quite appealing and cute. Finally I laughed my ass off with the description of the third t-shirt, "That's How I Roll", that refers to a 20-sided die. The description says: "A 20-sided die is called an Icosahedron. To be honest to you, I've seen better designs by the folks over NoiseBot, but nevertheless, these are pretty good too. My favorite one is "Soy Sauce"; I just love the stupid chicken faces! They're so damn cute!
Horrorwood Tshirts 2007-06-03 14:48:00 I stumbled upon this interesting little shop yesterday and I thought it worths mentioning it. Horrorwood is the creation of Jack Hankins who is an English artist living in Japan. Right now his shop features only 3 t-shirt designs in several colors and styles with SKULLBOY, which is printed using digital printing technique, being my favorite. According to the artist his "influences include graphic design, comic art, toy art, science fiction, wildlife, British traditions and of course horror". The t-shirts come in a nice box containing info cards and a random magnet sticker that matches the shirt design. I find Horrorwood t-shirts interesting and special but I wish they were a little less expensive; they cost around $40 depending on the style.
