Book Review: The Road 2008-09-03 20:12:37 Last weekend while camping I had the opportunity to read some fiction and selected The Road by Cormac McCarthy to read. Happy Labor Day! 2008-09-01 07:00:00 Well folks when you read this I can say the wife and I are full on into our camping trip with the pop-up. I am probably fishing right now....God I love scheduled posts.

One of the nasty things about radiation is the effects it has on the thyroid system. If you are exposed to large doses of radiation it saturates your thyroid glands with radioactive iodine (radioiodine) and will most certainly cause cancer.
