I’ve changed the site around a bit. As well as just giving it a ‘bit’ of a new look, I did it to clean it up and make it much faster at loading. So now while your reading the posts all the extra ‘crap’ at the bottom loads without you having to wait to be able to read the posts. Thats the plan anyway.
I’m still not 100% happy with the site but its nothing to do with the layout - I made a bit of a mess of things by having some content as pages and some as posts and mixing it all together in the content section. I’m definitely in need of a new layout! Which I shall be working on after my exam on Wednesday. *meep* I’m actually more nervous about the job interview on tuesday and driving back to Canterbury than I am the exam! I hate driving you see, I’ll avoid it at all costs.

The Ultimate Woman Driver 2007-05-04 01:47:47 aqua bear cd mem Phew! I’ve been so busy the last few days! I’ll start at the beginning shall I!?
The job interview! I don’t want to say too much, but I feel it went well, they weren’t the questions I was expecting at all so all the preparation I did was pointless! I was expecting the “What qualities do you feel you can bring to the company?” line of questioning but I was asked questions such as “Name a time when you were praised for your service to a customer?” and lots of other situations similarly.
It kind of threw me a bit, my memory isn’t that great so I had to think very hard to answer them - I think I did well although my examples weren’t very exciting! I feel bad that I didn’t mention I was going on holiday for two weeks, but I got the dates all mixed up and was really confused - and nervous!

Star Trek Convention … Kind of 2007-05-10 18:24:19 aqua bear cd mem You read it right - a star trek convention! Well actually it was Collectormania 11 which features Buffy, Angel, Charmed and loads of Star Wars as well as star trek.
There were several famous people there. Charisma Carpentor who plays Cordelia in Buffy along with James Marsters who plays Spike. Charisma is tiny but very very beautiful! She had a cold lol. I dont think they appreciated the british weather - it was pissing it down and Milton Keynes isn’t exactly the most attractive place for hollywood celebs! James Marsters was very creepy lol! I found him somewhat smarmy! We also met George Hertzberg who played Adam in s4 of Buffy. He was sitting next to Mark Lutz who is far more attractive in real life. The two of them seemed to be getting on really well. Anthony Head who plays Giles was also there!

A scandal and how scary is the internet!! 2007-05-18 11:56:56 aqua bear cd mem This post was written aaages ago - a few days after I was shortlisted to be precise - I’m not one to cause controversy but I hope you get the points I’m trying to raise.
I’m naturally very suspicious person, I tend to go along with things until I have more of an idea of whats going on. So when I received an email from Rhys the other week with the title omgomogmogmogmgomgomgomgomgomg and the link to the Metro youth shortlist I was rather excited. Mainly because I didn’t expect my site to be up there in a million years and because it had been such a long time since the nominations I reread the rules and my suspicious mind got thinking….
The rules said:

We want to find the best young bloggers in the country. If the person writing the blog is under the age of 18, whatever the topic, nominate them here. It could be a personal diary of their life, or about anything else under the sun.

Procrastination - an art I’ve perfected. 2007-05-21 08:14:05 aqua bear cd mem As your aware its exam time at the moment and what your probably more aware of is the lack of revision being done by me. Its not that I don’t want to revise. I can think of nothing less exciting than sitting down on a chair that leaves me grimmacing with pain to do several hours of maths revision having not looked at a maths book since year 11, two years ago. Theres also the sense of glee and pleasure I get from having to learn an entire programming language again because my memories so terrible I think its last Tuesday.
Don’t even get me started on the other exam topic!
You can probably guess where this has been leading to!? Yes, Procrastination
and my god am I good at it!
It started off at the beginning of last week with a trip to collectormania, mentioned in my previous post. Then I decided to count my penny collection I’ve been collecting for two years. My previous collection went towards sending a cow.
I have £12.33 of grubby smelly pennies.
